Our Guide Ghislaine was wonderful, knowledgeable and obviously proud to be sharing her heritage with visiters. She asked us what was of most of interest to us as we were experiencing Tallinn for the first time and then catered our time together accordingly. We loved the Old Pharmacy visit, for instance, and I suspect that we spent more time there as a result. We felt that we covered a lot of The Old Town and learned history such that the next day we returned to explore the Fortification Museum. Ghislaine also recommended a dinner venue which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Great tour - Max our guide was so knowledgeable and friendly. He answered everyone’s questions and told us a lot about life in Estonia.
We had a great 2 hrs walking tour with Lana. She was very knowledgeable in history and shared a lot of interesting facts about Tallinn in a very lively way. Lana has a great personality and we and our 30 year old kids loved the tour, She also gave us great tips about restaurants and souvenirs. I highly recommend Tallinn walking tours with this company.
Great activity! Max was a very knowledgeable and friendly guide who provided a very nice introduction to Tallinn‘s old city. Highly recommended.
Sevetlana was an excellent tour guide who explained about history, traditions and great recommendations about places to visit.
This was a great walking tour and all I needed to explore and learn about Tallinn in the one day I had there. Max was our tour guide and he did a great job showing us around and teaching us the history of Tallinn’s Old Town. I met my guide and the others at the meeting point in Town Hall Square at 10 am and the tour lasted about 2 hours, all walking, and ended roughly near the spot. It was a great tour and I learned a lot, I highly recommend this when you visit Tallin. - Nolan
The medieval architecture, cobblestone streets, and stunning views from the city walls were captivating. Our guide’s deep knowledge of Estonian history made it unforgettable.
We had a wonderful time touring Tallinn city, our guide svetlana (probably spelt that wrong) was fantastic, she’s really enthusiastic and so knowledgeable about the sites and the history. Definitely recommend this tour for a quick and complete guide of the city all the main attractions are covered and some great photo opportunities, also she gave us some great tips for places to eat and visit while we are here.
I had an absolutely amazing time with Alex!! She had great insight and a fun personality which made the tour so engaging. I loved learning about Estonia’s history and seeing in general the old town. Plus got some great recommendations for food and other places to visit!
I was looking forward to this tour of Tallinn very much. However, due to my late arrival at UK airport I missed my flight to Tallinn and was unable to take the tour. My tour guide demonstrated effective and compassionate communication with an immediate refund. I will be booking this same tour when I am able to visit Tallinn in the near future.
Lana was very nice and polite, and funny at the same time. We felt welcomed and Lana was able to show us the best parts of central Tallinn, so that we could explore on our own later on knowing what to revisit. Oh, and we loved the touch of her nails’ and outfit colours, matching the Estonian flag :)
Knowledgeable and friendly guide who introduced us to the main sites of Tallinn old town and gave us a suitable insight into the history of Tallinn and Estonia. We took this tour on our first full day in Tallinn and it gave us a really good overview of the city and suggestions for more detailed visits in the remainder of our time there.
The guide, Svetlana, was excellent and made the tour so pleasurable. She was very professional, knowledgeable and friendly. The pace wasn't too fast and it was put together with all tourists in mind, no matter what their capabilities were. I would highly recommend this tour.
Alex was knowledgeable, personable and brought historical events to life through personal examples. Generously passed on her local knowledge.
Brilliant tour, so informative knew all of our many questions waited for us even though we were a little late! Would recommend to anyone.
Perfect guide! Ans very informative what he told about the history of Tallinn. Nice anecdotes, places seen you would not guess that they were there. Max is a real good guide!
Such a lovely place, the old town is full of cobbled streets and outside bars/ restaurants. There's lots to see and do, several steeples to climb a lovely square to sit in. We were there for 3 nights which was perfect, would go again and recommend as a city break.
I am not happy with this viator experience we did not receive updated change in meeting location and therefore missed the tour / spoke morning of tour with viator link as another couple from Pennsylvania was also with us and missed the tour as we were waiting under click in square .. We would like a refund of our money .. have future tours in Paris this week which we have recvd notification of meeting place changes due to hotel pickup not available.. Please credit our acct in order for us to keep good negotiations with you .. JCPettigrew @att.net
This tour for us started out on a shaky basis. We had very mixed up directions as to how to get to our meeting spot and we were late getting there. The tour had left but the guide when I called found us and we continued with them. It was a beautiful city and she did a great job at the end, she escorted us to a taxi which she paid for to get us back to the ship. Over and above what we expected
Good communication few days before the tour via Whatsapp (where to meer etc.). Great guide who gave interesting information in a kind pleasant way and could answer many questions! It was fun!
Our tour guide was Svetlana and she did a wonderful job! We felt more knowledgeable about Tallinn after our tour and very much fell in love with the town. We learned about the churches, the wall, old/town/new town and even some current stories of Tallinn characters. We highly recommend this tour and Svetlana!
Upper and Lower Old Town. Our guide was quite knowledgeable and it was a great snap shot on the history or Tallinn...
Svetlana was very good and really good with going even though there was only two of us.one of ourparty was lost and she patiently adjusted the tour
I signed up the tour on the Viator app, but had to cancel three hours later because of a schedule conflict. Even though I canceled well before the deadline to do so, I was charged for the trip, and the tour organizer tried to contact me to find out where I was.
Our guide Svetlana was professional and very knowledgeable and easy to talk to. She answered all our questions and gave us a few suggestions of what we might like to see after the tour.
A great overview of a beautiful city. The level of detail was about right for us, as we only had one full day in Tallinn
It was so good explore Tallin but most great part is been guided by a profetional guide. All history of town. We visit church and enjoy a hot chocolat. It was chilling cold whether but with good abrigo all is good
Participants on the tour were instructed by the tour operator to arrive 10 minutes before the start of the tour. I did so. The tour guide was late. The tour guide was not very late, but was late nevertheless. This situation created considerable confusion among the tour participants. A guide for another tour requested my tour information to see if she could call the operator to see where the guide for this tour was. To do that, I had to access international data on my phone, and incurred a charge of 10 Euros. This should have been totally unnecessary had the guide been to the start point ahead of schedule, or at least on time. In light of the international data charge I incurred to locate the late tour guide, I REQUEST A PARTIAL REFUND OF THIS TOUR.
The walking tour of Tallinn was interesting and the guide gave a lot of relevant information. Despite the cold and rainy weather, the trip was excellent and highly recommended.
Very enjoyable 2-hour walking tour of Tallinn. Great overview of the city and great tour guide. Highly recommend!
Great tour! Loved the very small group size, me and 2 others that day. Guide was knowledgeable, showed interesting places and told great stories. Would recommend!
I had a 3 hours tour, we were 4, around half the time by car and the other half by walking in the Old city. Even if it was snowing all day, it was more than worth it because our guide made us discover some great places (different styles of old Wooden house, Kadriorg Palace, museums, Churches, sightseeing places, best shops for hand made souvenirs, places to get a decent lunch ... ) and also gave us a nice history lesson about Peter the Great and Estonia. Thank you Anastasia (our guide) for this amazing visit and also my friends from Australia. Will surely book another tour.
Our guide was friendly and informative, and added a lot to our visit to Tallinn. We would definitely recommend to anyone interested in the history of the city.
Excellent tour and knowledgable guide- recommended! Toured a lot of the old town in the time available and visited some of the churches too
Excellent tour and informed guide. Lots of tips for the rest of my stay. Friendly guide who went out of her way to inform us and take us to all the best views etc.
Guide was excellent and knowledgeable as well as friendly-it is just a little too cold to stay outside. Hope the weather was a little better
Daria, my guide, was fantastic. Attention to detail and showed me everything I wanted to see plus more.
Our guide was very knowledgeable. I’d definitely recommend the tour to anyone visiting Tallinn. While on our tour we were able to spend a few minutes in the Nevski Cathedral which is a UNESCO heritage site located in upper old town Tallinn.
It was fantastic having the history of Tallinn revealed by our guide. Walking the streets and understanding what we were seeing would not have been possible without our fantastic guide Lana. Just be prepared for very cold weather.
A gentle walk around the upper section of the old town. Guide was very personable. A bit of history and background to Estonia. Personally I would enjoy a little more depth of information.
We were lucky to have Svetlana as our guide for this tour. We learned a lot about Tallinn and had an enjoyable experience. She was very knowledgable and provided us with in depth historical and architectural information. She also gave us some good restaurant recommendations and activities to do in our time there. She set a very friendly tone to the visit which will stick in our memories. Thank you very much!
We had a great morning with our tour guide Svetlana who gave in-depth insights into Estonians lively past and present through the buildings of the old and new town. She answered all our questions with humour and created a harmonious atmosphere with her tour of different nations. We would definitely recommend anyone new to the city and country. A big thank you to Svetlana a brilliant guide!
Anastasia was a great guide! Very knowledgeable, we learned a ton and found a bunch of places to go back to.
Sveta was an amazing guide. So knowledgeable and eager to share some of her fave local spots that I wouldn't have found on my own.
Daria was fantastic, she was so knowledgeable, enthusiastic and she answered all of our myriad questions. She was super patient and took special care to show us the things we were interested in. We had no knowledge of the history of Estonia walking into this tour and left feeling absolutely charmed. 100% recommended.
Our guide, Dmitry, was excellent. She provided us with a wealth of knowledge and stories. It was wonderful to hear about Tallinn and Estonia from a person who is so proud of her country.
our guide was very knowledgeable and kept a birsk pace as we saw many parts of the old town that I had completely missed my self-guided tours of the previous two days. Highly recommended!
Darja was an excellent guide. She is a well informed, personable, patriotic Estonian. The upper and lower old city are beautiful with a fascinating history. Well worth the time and expense.
Darja was very knowledgeable and her tour of Tallin was great! She even met us earlier at the cruise port. She gave great recommendations of where to go for authentic restaurants and showed us all of the sites in Tallin.
Great comprehensive tour. Very knowlegable guide, lots of information. Good routing to the most important places in Tallinn.
