Like most people, I don't often post positive reviews, but seeing the baffling score, I just had to. I had a fantastic time here. We were staying on the 2nd floor. There must be a dozen creaky staircases, and the whole thing is a proper labyrinth, but it only adds to the charm. The floors are uneven. The walls are all bumpy and lumpy, and do not isolate sound very well (we could hear the neighbours' TV). You can see massive wooden beams and uncovered brick accents in places. It all feels so whimsical, old timey luxurious, and absolutely GORGEOUS. The walls are lined with beautiful classic art, plush patterned carpets everywhere, and intricately decorated furniture. It's a very old town house that looks like a very old town house (of rich folks), but with all the modern amenities. The room contained a modern TV, a hairdryer, desk and chair, ample wardrobe and cabinet space, massive beds, blackout curtains, enough sockets, perfectly functioning shower/toilet/sink, all linens and soap provided. The room was very clean, nothing appeared damaged or cheap, no bugs, no significant smells either. The beds were comfy, and while I prefer pillows about 3 times plumpier, I had a decent rest. Can't really comment on food, as we left super early, and only got a cold takeout package (which was enough, but nothing special), or the service, as our tour guide handled all the interactions, and we wanted nothing extra. The prices seem more than reasonable for how prime the location is. Would definitely stay at this beauty again.

The location of the hotel is very comfy as you are next to the town hall square and the old city of Tallinn. Another nice feature is the fact that the building is made of stone, which make its quite unique and cool, especially the summer period. Our room was quite clean and the amenities ok. Price is normal for the location and the period we visited the city. Breakfast was descent, but it can be improved a little bit. The ladies that work in this post do a very good job. But I wish I could say the same about the staff in the reception. These guys are the biggest issue in this hotel, they seem like they do not love at all there job. For no reason they are not gonna try to help you and make your experience even better. If you arrive even an hour early, they are not even try to help you with any other available room or a welcome beverage. It’s very sad such a nice hotel looses value from such behaviours
Avoid this hotel at all cost. This is the most bizarre hotel configuration I have ever seen . You get lost going up and done stairways, corridors. The room is the worst. No AC, no coffee, no water, bad smell in the toilets. The beds are unsleepable. The mattress is made of soft foam and slides off the bottom part which is also soft foam. The only way that I could sleep was to take the mattress off the bed and sleep on the floor. The location these fairly good in the old town and the intendant at the reception was useful. The hotel is rundown in all aspects and it is very difficult to sleep in this hotel.
The location is excellent, and the building is very stylish and reasonably priced. You can explore the entire Old Town on foot from the hotel. The staff is excellent—especially Maximiliano, the concierge; he is an incredible professional—very kind and proactive. He handled everything I asked of him professionally. The breakfast staff were also excellent and very friendly. I recommend this hotel 100%.
rchitecture, unique layout, and almost a little labyrinth inside, which makes exploring the hotel part of the experience. The location is also excellent, especially if you want to enjoy Tallinn’s Old Town. Everything is within walking distance, and the atmosphere around the hotel is lovely. The staff do their best and are always polite and helpful. You can see they try to make guests feel comfortable, and that personal touch is appreciated. ⚠️ Areas for Improvement Because the hotel is older and full of historic charm, it also needs a bit more attention when it comes to maintenance. A good handyman for the small details would make a huge difference — things like minor repairs, doors, fixtures, and general upkeep that help the hotel feel better cared for. The breakfast buffet could also be improved. It’s decent, but a little more variety and freshness would make the experience much stronger, especially for guests staying multiple nights. Overall, it’s still a lovely place to stay, especially if you enjoy history and unique hotels. With a little more maintenance and some updates to breakfast, it could be even better.
