4 stars? That must be a joke. Calling this place a 4-star hotel is, frankly, quite generous — or perhaps simply a very creative interpretation of the star system. The hotel was run-down, dirty and clearly in desperate need of proper maintenance. The courtyard was in particularly terrible condition, with damaged and uneven paving that looked more like a neglected construction site than part of a 4-star property. And then there were the pigeons — lots of them. They had apparently decided that the hotel was their permanent residence, especially above the room doors. Unfortunately, they also left plenty of “souvenirs” behind, with pigeon droppings directly above the entrances to the rooms. So every time you wanted to enter your room, you had to walk underneath them and hope for the best. A truly unforgettable 4-star experience! Cleanliness and maintenance were far below what anyone should expect from a hotel claiming to have four stars. The contrast between the advertised standard and the reality was honestly astonishing. If you’re looking for a 4-star hotel, don’t be fooled by the rating. If you’re looking for an authentic experience of decay, potholes and pigeons, however, this might be exactly the place for you.

We had a great stay! The hotel is located right in the heart of the city, only 50m from the central square. Breakfast is good as well, and the rooms are very big! Just be aware that there are no elevators only stairs.
Old elegant building in the heart of the old town (but wasn't noisy). Perfect place to use as a base. I don't normally mention the service in hotels or restaurants as it can just depend on the day. However, the staff here were so friendly and polite, really lovely. We had a room for three people (one on the sofa bed), the room was spacious with high ceilings. My type of hotel, not blingy but understated original charm. Ask for a lower floor if you have mobility issues as no lift, but fine for us.
Great rooms in a great central location. The staff were also friendly and very helpful on advising where to visit in the city
This is the prime hotel to stay in! Angela greeted us upon check in. Excellent start of our stay. She provided a map and circled tips for us to view while here in Tallinn. 203 was our room. Wonderful size for two staying for two nights. Love the bed and appreciate the detail of having a top pad to lay on. Enjoy the rain forest shower head. As an FYI, remember to close the toilet lid after usage otherwise the tidy bowl man may receive a towel or two lol Arabella has explosive energy like mine so we immediately clicked! She was very helpful in selecting gifts for female friends. Breakfast is on point, fresh and tasty! The chef, Larissa, can prepare eggs and/or omelette to your specifications. Helga and Ohla, who are making their Estonia exam today, made the dining experience quite palatable! Housekeeping staff are a gem! During the breakfast on our final day, we had the honor of being served by the Margarita, the manager and Jonathan, the owner & let’s just say that they are the reason that the staff is so relaxed and engaging! They made the time to chat while balancing their duties! To you two, may you continue to be blessed and highly favored with all you encounter!
