The location is wonderful. right in the middle of Old Town and in vicinity & a minute walking to all the city offers. The two welcoming young ladies we met at check-inn - Paulina and Ghetter - were fluently communicating in English. They were an amazing staff: cooperative, attentive, knowledgeable, open to explain and help in any issue or request. The rooms we had were generously spacious and very clean. A wooden floor with no carpets was great. having a cuttle for tea or coffee was great. Rooms are basically equipped with bathroom amenities. The bed was quite comfortable but the pillows were very uncomfortable. The hotel felt more as a 3* hotel and not as a 4* one. Breakfast was reasonable but basic. Kitchen/ breakfast staff were hard to connect with as they were either not English speaking or indifferent. We slept with open windows (fantastic clear air comes from outside) as the air-conditioning is not self controlled and not effective, although the hotel claims there is air-conditioning. We could hear from the street bellow the bottle recycling under our window at 1:00 AM, guys in next bars and the drunk people arguing or talking loud at 4;00 AM. A car washing the streets woke us up at 6:00 AM (remember, we're on vacation...). another car collecting garbage woke us up gain at 8:00

Great hotel with lots of old world charm and the best location in town. The suite had a superb view and again had a old world feel to it. The morning receptionist had natural warmth and her smiling helpful nature added to the overall stay experience.
We paid about 120€ for a room, and we where sent up to the third floor to this room (pictures)… beyond disappointed. There no windows with the exception of a window into a dark stairwell. Looked like some stairwell for the staff. The window had curtains that couldn’t close. This room was a nightmare, with tasteless, funky and dirty carpet in red and blue completely missmatched with the ugly wallpaper my grandmother would find too old. The lighting was horrendous, shallow blurry yellow light made the room look like from a horror movie. Not to speak of the establishment that had an unnecessary ”livingroom” without the living part. Accessorized with a TV matching the age of the hotell itlself. Papper was out in the bathroom that didin’t have a shower. The room had a funky smell to it and I felt dirty the whole time spent in the velocity of the room. It was humid and warm.. fler like i was gonna rott. I wouldn’t stay here if somebody paid me.. keep away if you care about basic hygiene and if you don’t want staff staring at you through the only window in the room when you sleep. The breakfast was lacking in several departments but was okay to eat. The room didn’t seem to have the basics of a hotellroom like a phone, glasses, minibar or basic necessities.. also found items from the last visitor on the floor just under the edge of the bed.. indicating the room was made to seem clean rather than cleaned. Staff looked bored but did their job. I can’t comprehend how Hestia barons have the audacity to offer this room.. shame. Stay away.
We stayed in their 2 Bedroom-2 bath apartment and it had everything a family may need. Spacious, Fantastic, new, contemporary and sparkling interior, on the first floor up in of a fine renovated building. Fantastic kitchen, living, large windows, fans, laundry machine, sauna, great new bedding and towels etc etc. Cafe Bruto on the ground floor has a lovely large patio! About a 4 minute walk from where the taxi drops you off at the near SOPRUS, Hotel Savoy (cars are not permitted inside Old town). Another 3 minute walk to the Old Town square of Tallinn and all its glorious sights. Perfect.
The Best Hotel in Tallinn for me. Literally stay there everytime I travel through. 1) Location is amazing: you can't be more central, City hall, Olde Hansa literally 1 min walk, everything in (short) walking distance. 2) No cars in old town so mostly very quiet! 3) Amazing staff (it feels like coming home) 4) Aroma/Smell: They have a signature room smell and their soaps are similar aroma - it is divine 5) Breakfast ist sumptious and has everything from warm food to cold snacks, cuts, fish, coffee, tea, juices. Breakfast hall has a wonderful view into old town 6) Rooms are historic and lovely! great atmoshere to get you into the 'Historic Tallinn Mood' 7) Very fair prices! Breakfast included also. If you depart early they prepare a sandwich, musli bar, fruit and juice bag to go! 8) Tap water delicious and drinkeable 9) Pet friendly! 10) They have a historic elevator that is more than 100 years old - an experience by itself! (they also have a new modern one)
