Perfect location, excellent ambience, every facility was a walk away, excellent service. Call-out to Margrit who made our life at the hotel at ease. Felt home away from home.

Nice and fairly quiet hotel. Great beds, clean and calm atmosphere. Most rooms are around a quiet and green inner courtyard. AC works and the windows can be well darkened. Corridor lights are a bit annoying; only choice for bread during (otherwise very good) breakfast is toast (an Estonian thing?) and the walls are rather thin. Luckily the other guests were quiet in the evening. One concierge did not know how to pay tickets in a bus.
Very disappointing experience. We booked two rooms for one night and encountered multiple problems immediately upon arrival. One room had only body wash, with no shampoo or conditioner. The other room had shampoo and conditioner but no body wash. Even worse, the bathroom sink in one room drained so slowly that it nearly overflowed during normal use. We reported the issues to the front desk. The receptionist was polite, but she explained that she was the only staff member on duty, had no replacement toiletries available, could not arrange maintenance, and could not even confirm whether a manager would be available. Since we were staying only one night, there was no realistic opportunity for the hotel to resolve these issues. Basic amenities and properly functioning plumbing are fundamental expectations at any hotel. The fact that neither could be provided, combined with the lack of any meaningful assistance, made for a very disappointing stay. I cannot recommend this hotel based on our experience.
This is a centrally located budget hotel. Book on their website for the best price! The carpet was dirty, but bathroom and bed were fine. The room looked hammered and old fashioned. It was quiet and we slept well. There is a supermarket across the street where you get fresh coffee and fresh baked goodies. A nice beer bar is located around the corner. The old city is in walking distance, and so is the ferry to Helsinki. We arrived from the airport with bus NO. 2 for 2€ per person. For genuine Tallinn food and friendly service go to Pelmen Restaurant only 200 m away.
We had planned to stay three nights, but unfortunately, we decided to leave after just two nights. On both mornings, we experienced real discomfort with our breathing, likely due to an issue with the hotel’s air system. It made our stay quite unpleasant and was the main reason we chose to leave early. It’s also worth noting that the photos show shampoo, conditioner, and soap, but in reality, only soap was provided. Additionally, when we arrived on the first evening, we wanted to use the kettle to make tea, but the bottom was burnt and still had milk residue from a previous guest. These things can happen, of course. However, what was most disappointing was the reaction from the receptionist, who did not seem pleased at all when we reported these issues. That was quite unfortunate and impacted our overall experience.
