So much fun for me and the kids! We learned some serious ninja skills, and battled each other to see who was best at throwing shurikens!!

Good place for rainy day, kids enjoy
The staff was very friendly and English speaking. Great for kids to try out some ninja activities and wear the ninja costume
The experience was very smooth and exciting, they explained with clear instructions and all of the ninja games were very fun, food were also very delicious!
Thoroughly enjoyed this ninja experience. Our children had fun dressing as ninjas and training in three ninja skills. The trainer was so friendly and encouraging. We also had lunch there. Highly recommend for adults and children!
Great fun with our 3 kids at the Ninja Experience Cafe. We did the sword, blow dart and shuriken throwing stars. Excellent staff with good English who mae it highly entertaining.
I've been to many places but this is such a unique place as far as combining a bar with a fun activity and a ninja theme that I am writing my first ever trip advisor review :D the shuriken, blow gun, and sword challenges were so much fun. Adding a VR game is on another level and makes this place a nop notch business and would make me want to come back. I wish we had this in the states. The instructors and staff were so welcoming and friendly. They make sure you are having a fun time. I would strongly recommend doing everyrhing and checking out this business when you are visiting Takayama!
Unique experience at this place, provides the experience of throwing shurikens, katana and blow dart. The experience ends with a VR experience which involves dodging shurikens.
Very fun ninja lessons and friendly staff. Vr game was also fun. Experienced throwing shurikens and shooting blowdarts. As well as practicing how to use a katana
Son is major Samurai and shogun history buff and was excited to have this opportunity. Huge smiles! So glad he got this opportunity
What a great experience doing Ninja training with my mate Rob of 50 years. The training was intense (not really) but we passed as Ninja Masters
This was so much fun! My fiancé and I did the Sasuke course which included the costumes, sword training, shiruken & blowdart training. We got to use real weapons and the instructor made it so fun! We also got a ton of great photos. Then we did the food experience which used real fire! I definitely recommend this
The staff were very friendly even though we don’t speak the language. Our kids had a blast! Definitely recommend for family with kids
But a restaurant that isn't very large can encourage kids to try the ninja taboos, drop off the recommendations and play VR, the kids should be happy My kid is older, so I don't choose a full suit, but it's very flexible, Basic package can not change a shirt and less money to play VR
It was a great experience for the children and also for us adults. Also our 2 year old son had a lot of fun with the ninja training.
Great experience to do with children young and old. We all had fun together practicing shuriken shooting, arrows and basic training for the Katanas. The augmented reality game is definitely worth it. We highly recommend!
It was a unique experience, my family and I had a lot of fun, the guy who attended us was super attentive and tried to make us feel good. Excellent option if visiting Takayama.
We did the special course and it was really cool to get a bird's eye view of the different weapons they used. The VR game was also great fun to test your maneuverability! Definitely recommended! We were helped super friendly and enthusiastic.
The overwhelming worldview and satisfaction! I went to Ninja Cafe Takayama for a family ninja experience 🚗 Elementary school students and 3-year-olds are overjoyed! I did a full course of Shuriken, Fukiya, Katana, and VR experiences, but the gentle ninja staff taught me how to do them all, and I was more than satisfied with the price! Repeat is confirmed when you come to Takayama again! Also, I thought it was amazing that we were dealing with foreign customers, , 👏
I went with my family. At first, you can dress only children and enjoy a little ninja atmosphere! and entered the store, but the place is dodgy, lol A group of adult gaijin who are training as ninjas, the training that other families in Japan are doing is too interesting, and in the end all adults are on a course with Sasuke and VR It was so much fun, as I had seen it, that the other guests didn’t mind, and it was a blast 😊 The staff ninjas are also good at heaping up the excitement and will definitely enjoy it! Families, adult groups, couples I would definitely recommend anyone who comes to the high mountains for any group to plan!!
Shurikens were interesting, I played with my friends and tied the game, so after that, I won with Fukiya and also played VR, and had a great time.
I experienced Shuriken, Fukiya, Iai and VR all. I enjoyed 1. and 6. The sixth grade boys seemed to like Iai the most, and the first grade girls the most. It adapts to your child's level. The middle school girl ate the fiery pudding. The whole family enjoyed it. The ninja brother's talk was very interesting and I really enjoyed it! There are not many ninjas, so we recommend making a reservation!
It was a hands-on cafe, and children in sixth and first grade seemed to be having a lot of fun. The actual shuriken throwing was also realistic, and the basic kata of Iai was very good. The older brother who taught me ninjutsu had a very interesting and enjoyable time. Thank you very much.
I'm glad that the nervous kids gradually enjoyed it with the excitement of the staff. The blowgun was very enjoyable.
The staff were very enthusiastic and complimented, so we had a good time together, not to mention him and his family.
The children participated in the Ninja experience and had a great time, they absolutely wanted a memory, a lot of photos!
Very good experience. Fully recommended. We came with young children, dressed up, learned basic knowledge of ninja and learned playing
We went to visit for my ninja-loving son's sixth birthday. My four-year-old sister and I dressed up in ninja costumes and practiced sword, shuriken, and blowgun skills. The staff were great at keeping us entertained and taught us kindly, so we were both really excited. The training was tailored to each child's ability, so my child felt like he had done something great. We were so satisfied that we would definitely go again, but I think if there was a scroll like a certificate of passing the ninja training, it would make a great keepsake and a treasure for the child. I would like to visit again.
