Taipei Day Tour(northeast Coast Tour Or City Tour) Mercedes Van

My family and I just finished spending 5 wonderful days touring around Taiwan with Phyllis. Phyllis made sure my elderly parents were comfortable at all times and smoothly navigated the winding mountain roads. So many memorable experiences were made possible because of this 5-day tour with Phyllis and we can’t wait to come back again! ❤️

Incredibly friendly, kind, and gracious Lena showed us around, gave wonderful suggestions and helped us have a great day despite the rain all day. She dropped us off and picked us up a couple of times when she found out I had knee problems. She was A++++ all the way.

Justin was awesome taking us around and showing us places and most importantly taking some stunning pictures of us in the process. Highly recommend.

Our day with Jeremy touring northeast Taiwan was probably our favorite day during our weeklong vacation. We were a small group so switched from Mercedes van to minivan but the minivan was nice and clean. Jeremy was right on time. He was so kind and took amazing photos of our family. He also knew all the secret spots to get amazing photos and he showed us less touristy breathtaking views. He answered all our questions and shared a lot of fun anecdotes about life in Taiwan. We felt like we got a better understanding of the country’s history and also of the people. He had a special snack for us that Taiwanese people use as a good luck charm for electronics. I know it sounds crazy! But so fascinating to learn. Jeremy made our tour in very busy spots a lot easier. He would walk us to the best spots, park or drop us off to reduce unnecessary walking. He just made it an easy and pleasurable day despite some traffic and some rain. Our family, including two kids, were entertained, educated and also felt relaxed. Jeremy was also flexible should we want to stay longer somewhere. Overall, a great guy and a wonderful tour. Thanks Jeremy and for all our beautiful family pics! Perfect day out with Phyllis, who is an experienced, friendly, and highly knowledgable guide. These sights are easy to get to and should not be missed on a trip to Taiwan.

We had an amazing tour. Jeremy was a great guide, taking us to some amazing places. The weather was a little dreary but it didn’t spoil our enthusiasm. We tried our first Taiwanese dishes and they were delicious. I have limited mobility and Jeremy was attentive and always helpful. We would highly recommend Jeremy and this tour.

Although not a guided tour, it is very flexible. Our driver Jeremy had an itinerary but was willing to change to fit wishes. And he was very helpful and welcoming.

Let your driver know what your travel style and preferences are, they are very accommodating. We wanted to dawdle and stroll around without rushing and our driver was happy to accommodate. But if you want to squeeze in as much as possible and rush then they’re happy to match your energy. Our driver Kevin was amazing, we had so much fun chatting with him and he knew so many cute hidden gems. This was an incredible and stress-free way to explore Taiwan. We were in good hands and felt very well taken care of :)

Didn't see much since it was raining. The weather was not favourable but the driver still took us to all the places.

We booked the English “private tour” but then found out it’s just a private car with a driver for 8 hours. The driver also didn’t speak much English. He doesn’t go into the attraction areas with us and just waited outside.

It was a smooth and efficient trip. It was well timed, the sites were lovely, and Alvin was so friendly and a great driver! 6 hours was just enough to make it a complete day trip without being exhausted. Would recommend!

Phyllis was friendly, on time, and very knowledgeable of the area. The van was comfortable and provided WiFi and waters.

Mickey our driver and tour guide was very friendly and helpful. He took our suggestions and added his own as well. Very hot sunny day so lovely to have a comfortable, air conditioned vehicle. He even took pictures and sent them to me. Thank you Mickey for a lovely day.

Ryan was our tour guide and we had a great time. He went at our pace and took breaks when I needed it. In Juifen he showed us all the little shops and took us to a literal hole in the wall that opened to a beautiful restaurant. Amazing views. I would definitely recommend this excursion to my friends and family.

Berry was an exceptional guide and very thorough. His hospitality is amazing as is his knowledge. We were treated to a day completely full of old, new and natural Taiwan!

It was great to see the sights, have a private driver, and not have to wait on public transportation. We were able to see so much more in a short period of time. Our van was clean. Our driver, Jimmy, was very nice. This isn’t necessarily a tour, but the hiring of a driver. He did take a few photos for us when we arrived at our locations. Maybe some drivers offer more unprompted information than others. Our driver took us to our locations and let us explore on our own…which is our preference anyway.

We booked our tour in Taipei while enjoying a port day on our cruise ship. Our guide, Charles picked us up right at the cruise terminal in Keelong, and met us after customs. It was raining so we went with our second option, seeing the sights in Taipei while enjoying a very nice, clean van. After seeing several very important and interesting stops, and after the rain had subsided Charles took us to the North Shore to see the rock formations and waterfalls so we got to see all the things we hoped for. Thank you to Charles for being so accommodating and providing us with a never to be forgotten experience. A private guide is the only way to go…skip the ship excursions and the crowds and save some $$$

I travelled in April and on this day temps reached 34 degrees Celsius so wear appropriate clothing and footwear. Driver Ian was amazing and his English was very good. Picked me up bang on time and spent the next 9 hours travelling around the North east coast. including Shiefen, Yehliu and some waterfalls. Highlight was the last stop where the guide and I had a lantern and as per customs wrote wishes on each of the sides (it's roughly 1.5m high, and 1m square so quite big) and then had it lit to fly off with all the other lanterns. When I reached my hotel I forgot some gifts I had bought and left in the car, but Ian let me know and then arranged a taxi to bring them to my hotel. Above and beyond. Thanks Ian. Well worth the money even though I was travelling solo.

We had an amazing trip with Simon in Taiwan. He was very professional, curtious and informative. He was a very careful driver that we all appreciated. We would highly recommend this tour and Simon 😊

Had a wonderful day with Justin and the pick up service at our hotel was really appreciated. He was very knowledgeable, courteous and very willing to adjust to our wishes. A great way to get an insight during our short stay in Keelung. Would highly recommend Justin and this tour.

We asked for the non-city tour and it included everything I hoped for and more. Bring an external power pack for your phone if you like to take photos with it! An extra layer (jacket, windbreaker) is useful as the weather may change throughout the day. You will have opportunities to buy lunch or snacks. If you want WiFi, ask while stopped. I found it useful so I could see on my map app where we were. Kevin was interesting, speaks excellent English and is well-traveled.

Best tour of Taipei Yehliu, Shifen, Jiufen good driving skills can rest wellin between places. Ryan knows the best dinner place in Jiufen and takes the best photos. It was a very pleasant tour.

Berry is an outstanding driver and tour guide. His English is outstanding. He explained the history of Taiwan, and explained every place on the tour. He walked with me through every place to explain things and take amazing pictures. He provided plenty of water in the car (it was a hot day). For lunch, he suggested a restaurant that had a beautiful view, and worked hard to get a table with a great view. I feel so lucky to have been assigned Berry for this tour.

Not really a tour. Just a private driver taking us to places.. driver was professional and courteous and car was clean. But do not expect a walking tour guide.

We had a wonderful day with Berry as our expert guide. He picked us up at the hotel promptly, accompanied us to the various destinations and shared a wealth of information throughout our journey. We visited Shifen old Street and waterfall, stopped at the old gold mining facility to see the outflow of water mixing with the ocean, visited and lunched at Jiufen, and then went to the beautiful and insoiring geological park. All were excellent and we were so glad to have a guide to efficiently take us to the best spots and accomplished much more this way. Overlap an awesome experience that we would highly recommend!

With Kevin as our tour guide we got to experience the wonderful island of Taiwan, absolutely worth it. He was a first class guide, we had an amazing time. Nature was breathtaking, and we also shared many stories and a lot of laughs. Pick-up and drop-off at our apartment was also easy and effortless. And you definitely have to try the stinky tofu in Shifen 😁

We had a great time in all of the locations despite it raining all day and it is definitely a must-see activity. Our guide Kevin was fantastic and provided us with umbrellas and ensured we had a good time despite the rain. His English was very good and he was very easy to communicate with and took us to some really good food spots.

Excellent way to spend a day exploring the countryside outside of Taipei. Phyllis our driver/tour guide was very good. Beautiful Mercedes van and excellent driver. Phyllis was able to tailor this tour to our needs and was great at giving insights to the various stops on the tour she is a well informed and interesting conversationalist. Weather was rainy and Phyllis provided umbrellas and even stopped an to buy us hot Coffee/tea/bubble tea. When we were getting hungry she found us great place for local food and did great job translating. Phyllis was there when we needed but gave us space to enjoy on our own..perfect guide. I would have no problem recommending this tour to friends and family!

It was not just what I wanted but more than what I wanted. The experience was great and she showed me more than I expected and made sure to capture moments I couldn’t have alone.

Last minute booking, and we got lucky! Kevin was our guide. He was knowledgeable, kind, accommodating, filled with great stories, and energetic. We went to the geopark, Jiufen and Shifen, and had an amazing lunch at a seafood market. Would definitely ask for Kevin when we return!

We had a wonderful day with Berry as our driver and guide. He was friendly and knowledgeable, and planned our tour to best avoid crowds and steep walking paths to maximize our comfort. This private tour was very reasonably priced for the ease of pick up and drop off, personal attention, information received, and sights covered outside of Taipei City.

Phyllis was amazing She is very knowledgeable and patient We have a 85 year old family member and she took really good care of her I highly recommend her tour

Martin was an Amazing tour guide. He picked us from requested location and was always cautious of time for us. His recommendations are a must try as all of them were bang on. We went to 4 places Geo park, Shifun waterfall, Shifun old street and Jiefun old street. All of the places we had an amazing experience. We end up taking 10hrs of trip as we experienced everything nicely. I would recommend keeping one whole day just for Jiefun market.

We were lucky to have Phyllis as our tour guide. She has over a decade of experience, and is knowledgeable about the whole of Taiwan. She was proactive in providing information not just about our day trip, but also about anything related to Taiwan, using maps and graphics from a tablet. We could have taken an Uber or taxi to Shifen, Jiufen, and Yehliu Geopark for less. But we would have missed a local's perspective. We would have had to deal with the added hassle of arranging and waiting for transportation. And we would not have received the videos and photographs she took, which to us are worth a lot more than the additional cost. At the end of our day, Phyllis was getting ready to pick up her next group from the airport for a 5 day extended trip on the island. Too bad we couldn't be on that trip.
