Vincent is very knowledgable about Taiwan and the brief layover tour that I took with him has given me a very comprehensive education about Taiwanese culture. We also sampled Taiwanese dishes which were out of this world. It was a very hot day but he found ways to park his car closer to attractions to minimize the walk. I highly recommend Vincent to be your guide in Taipei!

Sean gave us a wonderful introduction to Taipei. He was warm, engaging, and full of stories and historical details that made every stop more meaningful. One of my favorite moments was visiting a temple, where he explained the Matchmaking God and how people pray to different gods depending on what needs attention in their lives. It was the kind of insight we never would have gained just walking through on our own. Sean made the whole day feel personal, fun, and genuinely memorable. If you want to experience Taipei with someone who knows it and loves sharing it, book a day with him!
I had a great experience with YOLO. Aaron was very helpful, on time and considering. He was on time, well communicated and friendly. I feel comfortable and safe as a solo traveler. It was well worth since I only have 6-8 hrs transit so private tour was the best option. Would definitely recommend!
Vincent is the best guide. Even when our arriving flight was delayed, he managed to squeeze the plan and we have had a great time in beautiful Taipei. Many thanks again Vincet from me and my family.
An outstanding tour with YOLO Tour and our guide, Paul, who organized everything smoothly. The highlight was Paul thoughtfully guiding us to the Taipei Grand Mosque for Dhuhr prayer, making it an unforgettable and deeply meaningful experience. Highly recommended!
Caleb was extremely flexible in what we, as tourists, wanted to see. He provided great recommendations and took us to out of the way locations. We had a 9.5 hour layover and are glad that we left the airport to experience a little bit of Taiwan.
We had an 8-hour layover in Taiwan and decided to join the 6-hour day tour. James was amazing and incredibly accommodating. We told him we wanted to see art, temples, and try local food, and he customized the tour to match our interests perfectly. He took us to the peaceful Baoan Temple, where he explained the paintings and taught us about the gods. He also shared fascinating insights into Taiwan's architecture, artistry, and history. We visited Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, Taipei 101, the Grand Hotel Taipei, and he pointed out the various government departments and ministry offices around the city. To top off our short trip, and knowing we were foodies, James brought us to places where the locals eat. We visited Dihua Street to try delicious sticky rice and Plantica for the best boba tea we've ever had. It was an unforgettable experience, and we highly recommend this tour—especially with James as your guide!
Junior was the best guide ever!!!! We had limited time and he was able to allow us to see so much! He had great knowledge of the city, speaks English clearly, is so kind, and made for the best short tour possible!! He was always waiting for us after each site to rush us to the next so that we could do more than we expected and got us back to the airport right on time!!
I booked an 8hrs private tour, and Jack’s hospitality, kindness and air conditioned Mercedes were fabulous (it was 92 with humidity). We became friends and shared a great lunch together! We hit every stop on the itinerary with the right amount of time!
I had an amazing layover tour in Taipei! Nicolas Ying did a wonderful job customizing the itinerary based on exactly what I wanted to see and experience. They were knowledgeable, flexible, and made the most of my limited time, ensuring I saw the highlights that mattered most to me. Everything was well organized, and I never felt rushed. I highly recommend this tour to anyone with a layover who wants a personalized and stress-free way to explore Taipei!

The experience my family had was great/amazing. The tour itself was customized and agreed with SEAN WANG. It was very historical , different/informative lessons a person should learn for 6-8 hours which maybe overwhelming but they’re Not. We wish we had more time to explore the beauty , adventures, cultures, food of Taiwan . Our Guide SEAN WANG was very professional, punctual, very detailed and like a real historian:) He knows well his roots, country and his job. Next time we’re back or even a stop over, my family will not hesitate to request SEAN to be our guide again. Thank you so much for the time , information you gave us during our very short stay in Taiwan. See you next time:)
Vincent was an excellent guide—friendly, funny, and knowledgeable. He made the tour enjoyable. He was also very patient and attentive with my senior mother, making sure she was comfortable and included. We truly appreciated his kindness and professionalism.
Amazing experience our driver and tour guide was Vincent Lee he was amazing so helpful he explained everything to us took us to nice places me and my sister had a great time
We booked a layover tour in Taipei and had an amazing experience with our local guides, Bubble Young and Aaron Chang. They were incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and genuinely passionate about showing us the city. They took us to a local dim sum spot where we tried classic Taiwanese breakfast dishes like congee, soy milk, and freshly fried donut sticks — simple, comforting, and absolutely delicious. They also helped us take group photos and shared the history and cultural background behind the places we visited, which made the short tour feel meaningful and personal. It was the perfect way to spend a layover, and we’re so glad we chose this tour. Highly recommend Bubble & Aaron for anyone wanting an authentic taste of Taipei.
Nicolas Ying was fantastic! He is very knowledgeable, enthusiastic and friendly and also happy to tailor the tour to our needs. His communication was outstanding and he went out of his way to make our 6 hours enjoyable. We would highly recommend him
We really enjoyed our 8-hour layover in Taipei. Ben, our tour guide, was extremely helpful, knowledgeable, and informative. He made our time in Taipei enjoyable and memorable, and we truly appreciated his professionalism and expertise.
I am certain this is not the correct spelling, but Hax-on was incredible!!!! We had an amazing experience on a very short visit to Taiwan. He gave us a great understanding of the history, the food, the main attractions and the friendliness of Taiwan. I even booked the wrong airport and he flipped around to come take us to the right one, checking on us the entire way.
10/10 experience, I highly recommend booking if you have a layover in Taipei. Jack was a wonderful photographer/historian and tour guide. He was kind, considerate and eager to show me around Taiwan. He even helped me practice my limited Mandarin. I was able to explore some of the more historic landmarks and eat at Michelin recommended Taiwanese beef noodle soup within 5 hours.
Our tour guide, Chiao-Chiao, was professional, courteous, and thoughtful. You can tell she takes it as an honor to share her country, culture, and history with visitors to Taiwan. Her depth of knowledge and connection to the local area make this tour a must for a quick visit. I recommend asking for her specifically.
My husband booked the tour and suggested places we would like to visit - National Palace Museum , chiang kai shek memorial, Yongkong Street for lunch and Di Hua street. Jennifer was very excellent and was so early for the start of an 8- hour tour. Throughout she gave detailed information about the history of Taiwan and we learned new and surprising things from her. Her explanation of significant items in the museum brought ancient exhibits to life. She was very knowledgeable in everything and her English was impeccable. She was very considerate and made sure we didn't have to walk far in the hot weather. We would recommend her very highly.
We were very happy with our excursion. Our flight was an hour late but the driver was still there waiting for us and still showed us around and explained everything very well. He got us back on time and was very flexible, showing us all of the highlights we wanted to see along with giving us suggestions. I highly recommended this excursion to pass the time in a long layover.
Chiai Chiai is a great guide ( and driver ). We had a great time and learned a lot about Taipei and Taiwan.
Our stopover stay in Taipei with guide Vincent Hsu was simply outstanding. Vincent explained everything about this wonderful city in a very detailed and entertaining way. You could immediately notice how much passion and knowledge he puts into his tours. One of the highlights was visiting the observation deck of Taipei 101 on the 89th floor at about 382 meters high – the view over the city was breathtaking. We also enjoyed visiting a traditional temple and exploring the lively night market with its many impressions and local specialties. Vincent organized and carried out the entire tour absolutely perfectly. Everything was well planned, interesting, and entertaining. Thank you very much, Vincent, for this unforgettable stay in Taipei!

This is a must do if you have limited time. Aaron our tour guide was knowledgeable and flexible...he took us where we wanted to go. He was nice and accommodating. Not to mention he takes the best pictures.
Well organized, wonderful guide, Jack. Very personable. We got to see the highlights of Taipei in our 13 hour layover. Highly recommend this city tour. Jack had everything timed perfectly. Learned alot from Jack.
This was perfect since we had a full day layover. We were picked up and dropped off at the airport!!! Our guide Aaron was amazing!!! He customized the day with all the things we most wanted to see and provided us with excellent recommendations for food and must see things!!! I absolutely recommend this tour and guide!!!!
Our driver, Henry, was amazing. He was able to share so much knowledge of Taipei and take us to the must see spots. He contacted us the day before our tour and we let him know a few destinations we had in mind and then he put together the rest! He even took us to a restaurant where we had the best dumplings of our lives!! We never would have found it on our own.
Smooth pickup, terrific insights about Taiwanese history and culture, delicious food and memorable sights!
Visited amazing places such as the Dalongdong Baoan Temple, Chaing Kai Shek Memorial Hall, and Taipei 101. This was done of course with the our knowledgeable and patient tour guide Mr. Jack Chuo.
So much potential, so little time! Richelle is a fabulous local guide full of local knowledge, and did a good job of tailoring a tour to our needs. Prepare to pay for some activities in addition to the cost of the tour, and make sure to be clear and decisive about what you want out of the tour (to ensure you get exactly what you want out of your time).
Aaron was the best. He was extremely informative and very patient with our many questions about Taiwan. We saw several sites but he also did things at our request. His English is excellent. He also made sure that we had water and bathroom breaks. One of the best excursions we've ever had.
Nick Ying was an engaging tour guide, even for someone like me who tends to be on the quiet side. He shared interesting history throughout the tour and made sure to point out key landmarks along the way. He showed and made me taste great food. He also took nice IG worthy pics of me and made the whole tour really enjoyable. Thank you for making my short lay over worth while. I wished my arrival flight wasn’t delayed so I could’ve seen more places or stayed a little longer at the temple to see my luck lol. Would definitely recommend to my friends.
We had a 6 hour private layover tour to Jiufen with Paul. He’s super nice, attentive and fun. He drove and took us to many interesting places. Highly recommended for ones who have a long layover and don’t wanna stay at the airport.
This is a private tour, with picking you up at the airport and taking you to the city and bringing you back on time for your next flight. The airport is super easy to get out and get back. Aaron Chung my tour guide and driver is very knowledgeable and had great personality he speak English really well. He drop me to great places and he can get really good pictures! He is trustworthy and professional I highly recommends Aaron Chung!!
We had a wonderful layover tour with Vincent. He is a great guide and such a wonderful person. He did a great job communicating with us before the tour, when our flight was delayed, and after our tour. He made the most out of the short time we had and gave us a taste of what Taipei has to offer. He helped us get some fantastic family pictures. I enjoyed visiting the National theater and Taipei 101. The highlight of the tour was dinner at the night market and visiting the nearby temple. He went way above and beyond by mailing my husband his phone back that my husband accidentally left behind in Vincent’s (really nice) car. We are a family of 4 (kids ages 4 & 7). He was even thoughtful enough to bring a car seat for my 4 year old. I can’t recommend Vincent highly enough and can’t wait to schedule longer tours with him in the future!
It’s a whirlwind experience. Yes, we were able to visit quite a few places and were even able to enjoy boba tea and a bowl of beef brisket noodles (yum!) but timing played a big role. We came on a Friday afternoon so traffic and parking were major concerns. Jackson was a rockstar navigating through the streets and was kind enough to take us to a Catholic Church we requested. It’s “custom” tour for a reason so don’t shy away from asking and he’d do his best. He even took our photos. It’s still way better than waiting 10 hrs at the airport, given Taoyuan has quite a pleasant one. If you have time for 8 hrs I highly recommend you take it, check in was a breeze when we got back but we didn’t want to risk missing our next flight so we went back earlier than we should have.
My tour guide, Paul, made this tour interesting and a lot of fun. For my tour, we visited the Chiang Kai-shek memorial, the Lungshan temple, Taipei 101 tower and the Raohe night market. The night market was a lot of fun and had some very tasty foods. Airport pickup and drop-off made this tour very convenient.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ 5/5 – An Unforgettable Taipei Layover Tour with Paul Yang! We had a 22‑hour layover in Taipei and decided to make the most of it with a tour—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions of our whole trip. Our guide, Paul Yang, was absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning, Paul brought the experience to another level. He was incredibly knowledgeable about Taiwan’s history, culture, and food, and he had a great sense of what we would enjoy most. His storytelling made every stop richer and more meaningful, and he took us to hidden gems we would have never discovered on our own. Jiufen Old Street was a highlight, with its lantern‑lit alleys, scenic views, and amazing street food. Paul knew all the right shops and food stalls to visit, and every recommendation he made was perfect. It felt like exploring with a local friend rather than a guide. If you have a long layover—or even just a day in Taipei—book a tour with Paul Yang. The sights, the food, and Paul’s exceptional guidance made this an unforgettable experience. Highly recommended!
I thought this was a great introduction to Taipei with a long layover at the airport. I saw the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall, changing of the guard, and the National Theater and Concert Hall. I really enjoyed seeing the Lungshan Temple and Raohe night market. Paul Yang did a great job with his stories, information and food introductions.
Aaron was very knowledgeable of the historical sites he had taken us. Wished we had more time but he made the most out of it and saw some interesting places we would otherwise missed if not for him. Highly recommended!!
Bubble was an excellent guide. Picked us up at the airport. Gave us a really nice tour of Taipei and then brought us back with plenty of time for our onward flight. Great way to spend an extended layover.
We had a 24 hour layover in Taipei and wanted to see as much of Taipei as possible. We found the Private half-day tour would be best for us. Our tour guide Nicolas Ying was the perfect guide. Since we had never been to Taipei before, we let Nicolas know the basics of what we wanted to see and then let him take us to the best places. Nicolas was right on time picking us up and was very friendly. We started with a tour of the Grand Hotel. Nicolas gave us the history of the hotel and pointed out many of details of the hotel. It also offered us a great view of the city. We then visited three beautiful temples which we wanted to see. He educated us on the many aspects of the temples and explained many of the fine points to meanings of them. They were all very beautiful. We then visited the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall. Nicolas gave us a great tour of the Memorial and showed us many wonderful places throughout the Memorial. He made sure that we watched the changing of the guard (which was very enjoyable). We had time to explore and Nicolas was there to answer any questions we had. Then came one of the best parts of the tour when Nicolas took us to a small tea shop. We learned so much there about tea and had a wonderful sampling. We had no idea on how the tea was made and how to properly prepare and drink it. We ended the tour at Taipei 101 right on schedule. Nicolas was the perfect tour guide by taking many pictures of us. He was very knowledgeable and was a joy to be with. We would highly recommend Nicolas for any tours that he does. We loved Taipei and will go back for a longer visit. When we do, Nicolas will be the guide that we will use.
Sean was wonderful and very knowledgeable. It was a great tour. He was helpful and friendly. Thank you.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour! Our guide, Jack, clearly loves what he does and shared some of his vast knowledge of the history and culture of Taiwan. He was responsive to our interests and tailored the tour to more than meet our expectations. He took us to see some incredible sights, a great place for beef noodle soup and entertained us with the history of beautiful, fascinating, Taiwan. An easy 5+ stars!
Nicolas Ying is so knowledgeable, organized and fun. Art, architecture, music, markets and motor bikes. He knew it all. Highly recommended.
Vincent was a great tour guide. I wasn't aware we were going to communicate via whatsapp so there was a bit of a rough start in finding him, but once I realized he had contacted me via WhatsApp we were able to find him. He did a great job of taking us to the points of interest that we wanted. He went above and beyond to take care of us, even went to Louis Vuitton to pickup our passport hot foil stamping while we were eating! He felt more like a friend than a tour guide. I'm so used to being the family photographer, so you can imagine how happy I was that he got some fantastic photos with me in them! He's a great photographer.
We had a wonderful experience during our visit to Taipei. Our tour guide brought us to all the tourist spots we wanted to see and shared the history behind each place. He was very kind, helpful, and knowledgeable. We truly appreciate his service—how we wish all tour guides were like him
We did the layover tour with "Captain Jack". He was amazing. Prior to our arrival he contacted us a couple of times to make sure we had all the details about meeting and to confirm times. His directions were very helpful. He was right on time with a sign etc. We were super tired so he accomodated the tour to fit us. His vehicle was immaculate. The tour and information he gave us was excellent. He knows his subject well. I highly recommend this tour.
