Our Tour Guide Ben gave us some history about Taipei prior visiting Geo Park, Shifen & Golden waterfalls & Jiufen. All these sites are wonderful to see. Also, Ben made sure we are safe and took good care of us during the whole trip.

Picture this: a skyscraper so tall, it's practically waving hello to the clouds! Taipei 101 isn't just a building; it's the Beyoncé of towers, towering over the competition like a giant among ants. With an elevator that zooms up faster than your morning coffee kicks in, and views that'll make your jaw drop faster than a bad punchline, it's a must-see marvel that'll have you saying "101 reasons why I love Taipei!"
Step into history and grandeur at the iconic Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Hall! Unlike any other landmark, it's not just a monument—it's a living testament to Taiwan's rich heritage and political legacy. Marvel at the imposing architecture, immerse yourself in the serene gardens, and witness the changing of the guard ceremony—a spectacle that'll leave you in awe. With us, it's not just a visit; it's an unforgettable journey through time and culture.
Visiting Confucius Temple serves as a center for promoting Confucianism and traditional Chinese culture. You can explore the beautifully landscaped gardens, admire the architectural details, and gain insights into Confucian philosophy.
For foodies, Dihua Street is a culinary haven, offering a wide array of traditional Taiwanese snacks, street food, and local delicacies. You can indulge in mouth-watering treats like oyster omelets, braised pork rice, and traditional pastries, providing a delightful culinary experience.
Step into a world where ancient traditions meet modern marvels at Longshan Temple, Taipei's crown jewel of spiritual beauty! With its intricate architecture, centuries-old history, and vibrant atmosphere, Longshan Temple isn't just a sight to see—it's a journey through time. From its ornate rooftops to the tranquil courtyards, every corner holds a story waiting to be discovered. Come experience the heartbeat of Taipei's cultural soul and see why Longshan Temple is a must-visit destination unlike any other!
Walking into Bopiliao Historical Block is like walking into a movie set where the director yelled “action” about 200 years ago and never yelled “cut.” The bricks are weathered into deep shades of red and orange, and the afternoon sun bounces off them like warm light in a period drama. Every corner seems to tell a story, merchants selling herbs, families cooking behind carved wooden windows, a paper lantern swaying slightly in the breeze. Of course, now you might see a couple taking wedding photos in front of those same walls, or a tourist (hi, that’s me) stopping every 5 feet to stare at the texture of a doorframe. Bopiliao doesn’t try to impress you with flash. It’s more like an old friend telling you a good story, one detail at a time.

Our guide Jennifer Yang was truly exceptional! We were impressed with her knowledge and caring attitude. She took great care to ensure our comfort and safety - as I walk with a cane. She arranged an amazing itinerary - with old, traditional sites to modern landmarks. We had the flexibility to make adjustments throughout our tour. Should we return to Taipei in the future, we would love to experience another tour with her.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience exploring Taiwan with Jennifer Yang. From the very beginning, Jennifer was warm, friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely caring. She made us feel welcome and comfortable throughout the entire day. Jennifer did an amazing job showing us the beauty and culture of Taiwan. She shared interesting stories and information along the way, and her enthusiasm made every stop even more enjoyable. You could truly see how much she loves Taiwan and enjoys sharing it with visitors. What made the experience especially memorable was Jennifer herself. She went above and beyond to make sure that both Zimar and I had a fantastic time. We laughed, learned, explored, and made memories that we will carry with us for a long time. If you are visiting Taiwan and have the opportunity to tour with Jennifer Yang, we highly recommend her. She is a wonderful guide and an even more wonderful person. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Thank you, Jennifer, for making our time in Taiwan so special! We hope to see you again someday! 💕🌈🇹🇼 With gratitude, Terry & Zimar
Jennifer was great, amazing, kind and super helpful. Would highly recommend her. She was also very knowledgeable
Jennifer was amazing, kind, knowledgeable and super helpful. One of the best private guides we have ever had! Would highly recommend her to everyone.
My adult son and I had an outstanding day with Jennifer Yang. We visited numerous sites and Jennifer provided wonderful commentary along the way. She also answered our dozens of questions and gave us great ideas for our continued visit to Taiwan. We highly recommend Jennifer and this tour.
This is our 2nd booking with Jennifer Yang, she is very delightful and knowledgeable about the places we visit. We wanted to focus on old buildings and temples, and Jennifer definitely brought it! Here’s where we went: Confucius temple, Bao An temple, Chiang Kai Shek memorial, Longshan temple, Bopilao historical district, 2 temples (qing tian?) in Monga that I forgot the name of, Huaxi night market (ate at Michelin recommended Mr Wang’s Broth, 70 TWD for a big bowl of pork braised rice that’s satisfyingly savory and miraculously not greasy), and Dadaocheng (aka Dihua). There were actually MORE temples and markets on the itinerary but we punked out 2 hours early out of our own sheer laziness. Even if you don’t know exactly what you want to see, Jennifer contacts you a couple days ahead of time to get your requests and preferences, then sends you an itinerary to review. She is highly flexible, and if you change your mind on something or want to detour for something else, she can handle the planning with ease. I can’t stress enough how much of a godsend it is to have your own private guide with an air conditioned vehicle, we did exactly what we wanted plus other things she suggested to us that we didn’t know we wanted (but are sooooo glad we did them). Jennifer was also very generous with her knowledge and recommendations, we got some really great ideas for what we’re going to do on our own for our remaining days in Taiwan. We are super happy with our experience and will gladly recommend to all our family and friends.
Detailed itinerary from supplier and service was etiquette, best trip ever i can recommend for solo travellers.
Driver was very knowlwegable and personable. Knew area and discussed with me places I wanted to go. I had a list. Got to most of them but was rained out of 2 of them. Got to see one of them the next day when weather cleared. went on my own as it was on my bucket list. He took me to National Museum and it was magnificent, So glsd we went. Wuld recommend him to anyone that want to experience Taipei City.
Jackie is an excellent guide. He knows all in and out and proceeded a 8 hours tour directly from airport pick up to a good lunch place and bubble tea with great pace and experience. His photography is also remarkable. We were lucky!
An was our tour guide, she reached out days in advance to set things up. She took us everywhere and took pictures for us. In 1 day we saw everything in that area. Perfect trip other than the weather.
Outstanding day in Taipei with Jacky. He is a top notch guide who is so knowledgeable about the Taipei area. He took us to many places and was so accommodating to our needs and desires for the tour. We all highly recommend Jacky as your guide. An excellent day in Taipei!
Evan Liu provided us a great tour of Taipei, although the weather did not cooperate Evan went out of his way and provided us insight into Taiwan. It was worth the money spent. Thank you, Evan.
Jennifer was awesome! Having a car was really convenient and I saw all the major highlights. Highly recommend.
Great way to see the sights of Taipei. Eddy was helpful and thoughtful and showed us the best of the city. Recommend him anytime!
This was an amazing day deftly coordinated by our guide/driver. We saw so much in a short period of time but never felt rushed. History, local culture, customs, and context were shared at each stop with a personal touch. Our personal requests were cheerfully accommodated and additional recommendations for our guide enhanced our experience. We'd asked to go to a local place for lunch, and it was an excellent experience. I booked (50's female) and drug along my two teen sons (18, 14) and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the day. Over the last several weeks we've done tours in Seoul, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Kyoto, etc., and this was by far the best. I cannot recommend it enough!
We had an excellent full-day private driving tour of Taipei and highly recommend it. Our guide Eddy was professional, friendly, fluent in English and knowledgeable, and made the entire day enjoyable and stress-free. He showed us a mix of major highlights and local spots, shared interesting history and made sure everything was comfortable and well-paced. It was an excellent way to see Taipei in a short amount of time.
Chia Jung was a great tour guide.. knowledgeable about the places we went to… took us to a couple local restaurants.. would highly recommend him next time.
This Tour was exactly what we wanted. Jennifer drove us to the key sights in Taipei and gave us an interesting description of each. She adapted to our needs as Senior Citizens, customizing our experience given my mobility issues, yet ensuring each place was covered sufficiently. Excellent Tour for first timers in Taipei! Many thanks to our caring and knowledgeable guide Jennifer!
Jennifer was a wonderful guide, who was punctual, knowledgeable, and spoke very good English. She showed us many beautiful city sites, including temples, memorials, old city and Taipei 101. She gave us plenty of time to explore, and pointed us to a wonderful place for a restaurant in the old city. We would highly recommend Jennifer in the future and as an added, plus she was a great photographer!
Eda met us holding a sign with our name. She is absolutely precious. She took us around to the sights, waited on us to tour, eat lunch and shop. I highly recommend this tour. You can adjust it to your needs.
We only had 4 hours but still managed to quickly see most of the itinerary thanks to Oscar our guide who also made sure we were at the airport on time. Recommend this trip even if you don’t have the full time in Taipei you can still see a lot!
Jennifer is an amazing tour guide. Any company would be proud to have her work for them. She is thorough. She is knowledgeable. She was exceptional for our security when crossing a street of volume up and down stairs highly highly recommend her.
Professional, knowledgeable local guide. Very patience and stops for Bathroom time. Took us to great, local places. Our tour guide: Berry was wonderful.
I had an amazing time with An in Taipei. She was very knowledgeable and enthusiastic and we had a very full day exploring the city. She knew the best places to eat in the street market, and customized the tour to fit my interests. She had a great attitude and really made my visit to Taipei memorable. I highly recommend the tour and An.
We had a private tour from Taipei for a day that was unbelievable. Our guide Wilson was magnificent with everything he did with us. He took us to many incredible spots between Taipei and Keelung, including Shifen and its lantern experience. The old Jiufen old street market area was wonderful. Wilson also shared with us lots of magnificent photos he took of our group in a google doc. To finish off the trip he bought us a special Taiwanese sweet treat that so cool- a salad roll in a donut - So awesome. We really loved it.
Hiring this tour company for the day thqt ww disembarked from our cruise was the best move! We had our own private van and didn’t have to worry about our luggage and got to explore the city with a knowledgeable person! The 8 hours we spent in Taipei on this tour was absolutely amazing! Our guide and driver, TC Lin (Ken) was very friendly and very informative. He picked us up at the cruise port, loaded up our luggage in the van, and took us to several interesting places in Taipei. We fell in love with Taipei, from the old Bopiliao Block Square, to Lungsung Temple to Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, to the impressive Taipei 101 building! And let’s not forget the street markets — so much fun!!! We had the full Taipei experience in 8 hours! A big perk was that Ken dropped us off at the airport after our tour.
As a first time traveler to Taiwan, this tour was perfect to go out and tour the city! Our tour guide, Joshua, was so accommodating and very kind in helping my mom and I navigate through the city with a rides to all of the local attractions. He even switched things up based on his expert recommendations and we were so grateful for it. He also helped us out with recommendations for restaurants and local attractions in the other cities that we have on our schedule. If you're new to visiting Taiwan like me, this tour is a must to start your exploration. You'll be able to navigate the city much easier once you go on this tour.
Very interesting and enriching day. Eric is a very professional and knowledgeable guide. He created a well balanced itinerary tailored to our interests.
My partner and I visited Taiwan and had the pleasure travelling with our tour guide Joseph. He made sure accessibility was not an issue even when I am fully wheelchair dependant.
This is our first time traveling in Taiwan. Our tour guide Jennifer Yang did an excellent job. She is knowledgeable, flexible and punctual on time. Highly recommended!
Mr. Jackson was our tour guide today and my family and I can't recommend him enough! From the onset of our guided tour, he was professional, extremely informative, and got along so well with our children they started calling him "Uncle Jackson." His knowledge of his country is top tier which was extremely appreciated as we learned a lot of unknown facts about Taipei. His abilities to coordinate with local professionals, whether it be at tour sites or restaurants, allowed us to skip all lines at no extra fee as he whisked us around at a comfortable pace. A true must-do for any visitors wishing to see Taipei (they offer additional tours as well).
Stanley was a great guide and my itinerary was designed perfectly. Car was clean as well. Would definitely recommend to others!
Unfortunately, we had a very poor experience with Jusaiwantour Travel Services. Our guide did not speak any English, despite this being a key expectation of the tour. Instead of providing any cultural or historical context, she simply drove us around and dropped us off at major shopping areas. What was advertised as an 8-hour guided tour ended up being only about 6 hours, with almost no meaningful commentary or engagement. The one cultural stop we made, Lungshan Temple, consisted of being handed a free English pamphlet before being rushed through. We didn’t learn anything about Taiwan, which was the whole point of booking a guided tour. We’ve traveled extensively for over 20 years and have experienced a wide range of tours — some amazing, some imperfect — but this was by far the worst. It felt more like a car service than a guided experience. And a rushed one at that. We strongly recommend avoiding this company, regardless of the positive reviews you might see elsewhere. We have reported the issue to TripAdvisor.
Jennifer was a wonderful and thoughtful guide. I had the pleasure of learning a great deal about Taiwan’s history while visiting the Lin An Tai Historical House, the Chiang Kai-shek Memorial Square (including the changing of the guard), Taipei 101, and finally enjoying a lovely walk up Elephant Hill for a breathtaking view of the Taipei skyline. The comfort of being driven around with a well-planned itinerary made the day effortless, and the stop for lunch—featuring delicious local delicacies—was a fantastic addition to the experience.
Amazing and fun. Could not ask for a better car driver and guide. Everything that we need it and more. We gladly recommend this tour to everybody who likes a customized private tour.
We spent the day visiting the main sites in the City. We had an excellent lunch in a local restaurant. Jennifer was an excellent guide, safe and confident driver. Very informative. We thoroughly enjoyed it
We had such a great day! My favorite of all the days on our vacation was the Taipei and Shifen area tour. We were able to customize to include the Shifen waterfall and what a spectacular place! Benson guided us, gave us great info, gave us tips on where to eat, and was a fantastic driver. I would do this all over again and I will recommend this for anyone wanting to see Taipei and the area. My kids enjoyed it as well. This is a must do.
Just the most amazing day. I was taken to so many amazing sites that I would never have found by myself. The convenience of having a private tour is worth every cent, THE BEST TOUR GUIDE EVER!!!!! This is a must for everybody going to Taiwan.
Jennifer was so nice we got see the city and eat some great food she point out for She took pictures all day for us had a blast
From start to finish, our private tour in Taipei was outstanding! Our guide was not only incredibly knowledgeable about the city’s history, culture, and hidden gems, but also warm, friendly, and attentive to every detail. They tailored the itinerary perfectly to our interests—balancing must-see landmarks like the Chiang Kai-Shek Memorial Hall and Longshan Temple with off-the-beaten-path spots we would never have discovered on our own. Along the way, they shared fascinating stories, local insights, and even took us to some amazing food stalls where we enjoyed the best beef noodles and bubble tea of our trip! Transportation was comfortable and efficient, and our guide ensured we never felt rushed. Their passion for Taipei was contagious, and their professionalism made the whole experience seamless and enjoyable. If you’re visiting Taipei and want an unforgettable, stress-free way to explore the city, I can’t recommend this private tour enough!
We came to Taiwan for 3 days, and we are glad we did a private tour with Justaiwantour. Our tour guide is very nice and knowledgeable.
It was great doing private tour Taipei city. Justaiwantour picked us up from Taoyuan Airport. Our tour guide, Ken, waiting for us and guide us through our trip. It was great getting to know Taipei city in a day.
Our tour guide Jennifer was exceptional! She took us to many places in Taipei and was extremely knowledgeable about all of them. We went to Taipei 101 and she got us one of the first tables of the day at Din Tai Fung which was incredible! We loved our time with Jennifer and highly recommend this customizable tour!
Did a tour of Taipei city. Frank was our guide. He was very accommodating. We shifted a couple things around and he was very good about it. One thing I would recommend is the palace Museum. At 10 AM they have an English guided tour that was great. He had all sorts of extra information. And he emailed me that information later on. Also helped me with going to a baseball game the next night.
My tour guide Joseph is excellent, knowledgeable, efficient and reliable. He deserves promotion or rate increase. Because of this, I express my gratitude. Thank you
We booked the tour because we had a layover and we wanted to explore Taipei individually. All the main attractions were covered and we got a glimpse of Taiwan history.
Our guide was Jennifer. She was a most excellent guide. In addition to taking us to the places we wanted to see, she made some recommendations that were nice additions to our itinerary. She provided historical background and cultural insights. She helped us order food when we asked to be taken to a traditional Taiwanese breakfast. She helped us locate items that we wanted to bring back home. This was the second tour we took with Justaiwantours and I recommended them and their excellent guides.
My husband and I took an 8-hour guided tour of Taipei with Joseph on April 22. Joseph is extremely knowledgeable about the history of Taiwan and the geography of Taipei. Because the city is so spread out, being transported in Joseph's car was an efficient use of time and made us very comfortable on a very warm day. Joseph is an extremely kind and thoughtful person. We were lucky to have him as our guide.
Angie was our guide And drove her personal Mercedes for our day! It started as a challenge because we had booked 2 full day private tours of Taipei, but she called her boss and got permission to take us to Taipei Zoo ! Got there as they opened and enjoyed several hours of a very clean Zoo with tram to top and slow walk down! Morning well spent! Afternoon Angie drove us to New Taipei and Shefren street area! More than 100 years old, train run right through middle of hundreds of young people buying , painting special messages on Sky Lanterns which they set loose with small fire inside and dozens fill the sky ! Quite a spectacle! Once in a lifetime experience! Not to be missed! Many vendors with samples on both sides of the track! Angie called a friend with a local seafood restaurant for out lunch! Area doesn’t take credit cards , but Owner told her he would take ours since we were with her! She found us two ice cold Taiwan Gold Medal beers for our Huge bowl of a giant whole squid, giant shrimp , clams and noodles in a great broth! Gave everyone big scissors to cut up squid! Met cutest young couple from University of Florida at next table! We are FSU Seminoles ! But chance meeting with new friends!!
