Green was very friendly and knowledgeable! In addition to our night market tour, he also gave me good suggestions for my time in Taipei based on my interests

Vicky was easy and fun to walk around it. She brought us through the market with ease showing us the good things to eat. She was early and we were early, so we started right out. She helped us get the right food and interacted with all the vendors for us.
Isabelle told stories and gave detailed explanation about the temple and food. She showed pictures of food to orient us before a deep dive of the night market foods.
Our guide Tristant was very engaging. He was enthusiastic and fun and answered all our questions. It was a great introduction to the institution of night markets in Taiwan and Taiwanese food. He also showed us around the temple, explaining it and also brief history of Taiwan. Would recommend this trip to get you started on your travels through Taiwan
We had a wonderful experience with Maggie Lee..! Because of Maggie we didn’t miss anything in the market, plus a great explanation of the Temple adjacent to the market. Maggie was a wealth of information. Thanks for the great guiding..!
Super fun market with local foods to try and gifts. Many local food choices and most for under $5 american
My Tour Guide was wonderful. She was patient and she showed me wonderful foods and her personality is Pepe and fun. I enjoyed and she introduced more of her religion to me and as she showed me the temple, I would recommend her highly for anyone and the food was delicious. What a fun evening despite the rain.
Vivian was an amazing tour guide, she provided more than just great food recommendations she also shared some historical facts about the area, and took great care of us through the tour, would definitely recommend.
My wife and I would highly recommend this tour with Vicky. It was raining a bit but she was undaunted and didn’t let a little rain dampen the tour. She made great food recommendations and was very knowledgeable about the history of the market snd nearby landmarks.
Hannah hosted our family through the night market, stopping at the best spots. She translated everything for us, making it seamless. There is no way to eat it all so having a guide was the best hack!
Effi did a great job at the Roahe night market tour. She even met me at the train platform since I was running late from the tour before. She is happy and very accommodating. She asked what food I was wanting to try and she found it. She ordered me a cab and walked me to the cab stop at the end of the tour. I was really tired, and she made it a fun tour.
We had a fantastic evening at Raohe Night Market with Ginger! She was warm and friendly and pointed us towards the best eats with excellent recommendations (including the Michelin stalls) and shared her knowledge of the market’s history. We particularly loved the chinese burgers, pepper pork buns and the peanut ice cream roll. Beyond the delicious food, she kindly guided us through the nearby temple and explained the local traditions and meaning behind the customs. It was a wonderful experience, highly recommended!
Vicky was so lovely and full of information about food, culture, religion, and history. She was easy to talk to and so friendly and helpful. I loved the food she helped me choose and would happily recommend her tour to anyone :)
Could have used a bit more structure to it. Didnt really feel like a tour but more of just walking through the market with someone local.
We enjoyed our tour of the Raohe Night Market with our guide, Irene! It felt safe and very comfortable to try and eat food when someone helps you know what you’re eating. We had a great night!
I had an amazing tour with Susan. She was super informative and made sure to point out all the best food options for me to try. I tried the stinky tofu, gua bao (my favorite), black pepper bun, spicy crab legs, scallion and egg pancake, taro and pineapple ice cream roll with peanuts and cilantro. The street food is very affordable; I think all of that added up to roughly $35USD. I loved touring the temple with Susan because she taught me so much about the traditions and culture. She also took me to have my fortune read by a bird which was very whimsical and amusing. It costs me 300NT. I highly recommend this tour. Visiting Raohe market is a must-do in Taiwan and having Susan to show you around is delightful.
Doing this tour was a great way to properly experience the market. Richard guided us to all the right spots, and made sure that we came away with the real highlights of local cuisine. He had a lot of humour, and was helpful with navigating the market with our daughter's pram. Definitely worth the money to take this private tour!
A delightful stroll through the night market. Our guide, Jason, was very friendly and interpreted the variety of foods we saw along with other activities, allowing plenty of time for us to sample what piqued our interest.
A must-do tour especially if you don’t speak or read the language. Jason was terrific guiding us through the night market to delicious stalls, including Michelin star! Highly recommend! Wish we had night markets in the US. Yum!
OMG! You have to take this tour with Susan..she made it so much fun..she took us to a Udon restaurant and made food recommendations because we didn't know what to order..she explained all the different foods and we laughed at some of the stuff that people eat..take this tour!
It was great to have someone who was familiar with the traditional foods. Our guide, Ivy, was amazing. She was friendly, knowledgeable and very easy to like and talk to. She made the experience one to remember. One of our favorite tours in Taiwan.
My family of 5 did the night market tour with our guide May Ei. She was absolutely fantastic. So much positive energy and super helpful. The market was busy but May Ei made us feel relaxed and happy. She chose a selection of great foods for us to try. It was great having someone narrow down all the options and find dishes that we might not have known about. She was responsive to our desires and not too pushy. She also helped us find a table to sit down at and found us water to drink. Very helpful and caring. After we couldn’t fit any more food in, May also gave us a very informative and passionate tour of the temple close by the market and explained its cultural significance and history- highly recommend this part of the tour as well. Also recommend coming to the tour feeling very hungry- there are so many amazing dishes to try. A great experience. Thank you May Ei.
Very interesting A great learning experience Food was wonderful. A wonderful food and market experience
We really enjoyed our night market tour in Raohe with Ivy, who welcomed us so warmly to Taiwan and introduced us to so many delicious dishes that we wouldn’t have been sure about by ourselves. Highly recommend! It was also so interesting to learn things about Taiwanese culture along the way, talking to Ivy. The market has a lot to offer, so come on an empty stomach.
I had a great time with my tour guide Vivian. She helped me figure out which stalls looked good to me, helped me order, gave a little history and was overall just a blast to have as a guide a talk to on the tour. If you get her as your guide, it’ll make your experience in the market better!
Come hungry and open minded to try many new and delicious foods and beverages. Any questions you have Vicky will be able to answer and guide you through the journey!
This tour was great! Richard showed me amazing Taiwanese food to eat along with giving great lessons on as much of Taiwanese history as he knew. Absolutely wonderful experience!
Vicki was prompt, knowledgeable, flexible and pleasant. She responded patiently to our many questions. You will not be disappointed if you get her as your guide.
This was the second night market tour that I took with my guide May Ei and again I had the most wonderful time with her. I would not have been able to experience the market like this on my own and thanks to May I was able to try so many delicious local foods along the way. These night market tours were the highlight of my trip to Taipei and I can only highly recommend May as a guide, she made the whole experience so much fun!
We had a great guide, Rudy. It was very crowded since it was a Saturday night. Large variety of food and products.
Our tour guide May-ei was great. So friendly and fun, and perfect food recommendations. We sampled 6 dishes we otherwise wouldn’t have found on our own. Highly recommend!!!
Joseph was incredible, we were so grateful to spend our first night in Taipei with him! It was very cool to walk through the market and learn about the food. I loved learning about the cultural aspects from a local - it is much more meaningful than wandering the market on your own. Plus, he gave us very useful tips, for example, telling us which foods not to eat so we wouldn’t get sick. Joseph was informative, funny, and an overall pleasure to spend time with. He even gave us recommendations for more restaurants to try and how to navigate the city! 10/10 would recommend, it was worth it!
Best tour with Vicky Chiu. She was polite, humble and knowledgeable. She explained me about the history of Taiwan and introduced me to local cuisines. Don’t miss this tour in Taipei. Highly recommended.
There are a gen options. Grilled mushrooms stinky tofu dumplings on ice tropical Fruits like custard apple veggie soup fried sweet potato
An amazing way to visit your first night market, May Ei was so knowledgeable and could pick and choose where we ate and provided recommendations on what to try at other markets or general market food. Loved the Chinese herbal soup and baked buns definitely must tries.
To my delight, the food, atmosphere, and the Taiwanese people were all so incredible. I couldn’t have asked for a greater experience! I had the BEST food ever. It happened to be a holiday weekend, so the night market was probably more lively than normal, but it made my experience even better. My guide, May Ei, was such a pleasurable person who clearly loves her job and her country. I’ll definitely be back Taiwan!
DO NOT TRUST THIS COMPANY! The instructions to meet were unclear. The tour guide did not show up at the agreed time or location. Their support phone number goes unanswered and they will not refund your money. They will just rip you off. STAY AWAY!!!
Ruby was excellent. She suggested great local food and shared much about Taiwan. I highly recommend the tour and Ruby. .
This was wonderful our guide was very knowledgeable about the different foods and gave us great information and advice. We loved it
Ruby was excellent; she tailored the tour of the night market to my grandchildren since this was their first time in Taiwan. They had a great experience and loved Ruby’s knowledge of the night market food.
Vivian was a fantastic guide and helped us select foods that fit our taste and dietary restrictions! Everything she recommended was truly exceptional and she helped us navigate a busy market with ease. She was very friendly and she made the logistics of meeting-up really easy. Can't recommend enough!
May Ei was fantastic. She blended personal and historical facts to give us a great experience. She also did a great job of taking us to the popular stands and the hidden gems
Vivian was a wonderful guide! She helped us find everything we wanted to try, get our orders right, and see everything the market had to offer. She also brought wipes to help us stay clean between tastings, and had some great suggestions. We recommend Vivian and this tour!
Our guide was very nice, but didn't know much about the market and food options. While she was pleasant to be around, we were hoping for someone who could help us maximize our experience, taking us to the must-visit stalls and helping us avoid boring ones. We didn't feel she had a great knowledge of the landscape or which vendors were located where.
Great experience , Joseph is very knowledgeable and gives you lots of information about the foods to try. We were lucky it ended up being a VIP private tour as there were no other guests . He also took us to the rainbow bridge which was so pretty and calm . Just note that this tour does not include food which i only realised a few hours before the booking started so may seem expensive ( other tours include food in the price) . Nevertheless I think if it’s your first time in Taiwan and you want to navigate the night markets this is a good investment on info you can use on all markets.
Vivian was a great tour guide! She took us to many stalls and explained the dishes. We wanted to try dishes very unique to Taiwan and she delivered! I would highly recommend a tour with Vivian when visiting the night market - it unlocked foods/ stalls that we would have otherwise overlooked.
The guide Vickie (Not sure of spell it was her nickname- she’s from Taiwan and is a local) was absolutely amazing. She was flexible (‘my 14yo son was 30 min late), knowledgeable and connected history and culture with ours (I’m from Japan). The market was manageable with a ton of Michelin recommended food stands. I highly highly recommend this tour and guide!
Isabella was a perfect guide for it first Taiwan night market experience. She knows all the best places, but listens to her guests preferences. In addition to trying almost every food that intrigued us (a lot in two hours), we also appreciated the opportunity to learn about Taiwan and her openness to any questions. Raohe was an excellent choice, with the most Michelin street food stars. Two hours was plenty of time for us - we couldn’t have eaten anything else!
Vivian was wonderful! We thoroughly enjoyed the night market with Vivian’s excellent guidance. She was familiar with the vendors and helped us choose foods. All were delicious! She also told us about the history of the nearby temple. We had a great evening with her and highly recommend this tour with Vivian.
We met our guide Alex outside the MRT and he took us for some Bubble Tea, worth trying if you haven’t had it. Alex pointed out a small clock building? Near the MRT exit. Every hour it lights up and a train runs around a small track and plays music. Something we would have missed ourselves. In the Market, Alex shared some favourite dishes.. We tried Pork Buns, deep fried 3 types of mushroom, BbQ fried chicken and Grilled mushrooms - the portions were large and were full quite quickly. We also visited the temple - just next to the market. Alex shared some interesting facts about the temple and the Taoist beliefs.
