Overall, a relaxing and refreshing experience. Certainly enjoy the in-room hot spring. Would certainly recommend friends to stay at this hotel should they visit this area.

Near enough to downtown tamsui, but closer to the bridge is nice as you can walk easily from there to everything. Need a car or use Uber for yun estate. Lovely view from some rooms. Rooms are fairly spacious and feel comfortable at 820 square feet. Automated everything so be prepared to figure out how to turn everything on and off thru a computer! Nice shower chair with jets and heater toilet seats. Excellent lighting options and added tatami room for resting/relaxing, in addition to sofa sitting area and kitchen table for eating. Large closet with dressing area seat and mirror. Need to ask for anything else: futon mattress pad for tatami room, robes, slippers, more than 2 towels and even a bath mat, kitchen towels, utensils or any dishes/cups/anything, untorn bed skirts, working flashlight, hooks to hang anything. Front desk service was excellent. Just the right amount of interaction and professionalism. Language barrier was handled with patience and courtesy. All hotel staff were inconspicuous and helpful. Ambiance was pleasant. Apartments across mean you will hear barking dogs. All windows need cleaning desperately to make looking out worth it.... Otherwise just step out on the patio, although it is missing chairs or a table, it offers up a decent view of the main tamsui bridge to bali over the river if you are on the right side and high enough on the building!!! Overall good stay. Some things need maintenance and repair but this is normal in many places. Missed checking out their restaurant or public bath hot springs area.
We had a one bedroom accommodation, and it’s the best for a longer stay. Very roomy and comfortable. Walking distance to the light rail, MRT station, night market, and the ferry terminal. Will stay there again next time when we come to Taipei.
My family and I stayed at the Yun Estate Hotel this past December, and we had a truly lovely time. Nestled in a quiet area, the hotel offers the perfect sense of serenity and escape from the usual hustle and bustle. The absolute highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the accommodation. The room was incredibly spacious, but the game-changer was the private in-room hot spring. It provided a relaxing and enjoyable experience for all of us, and the kids absolutely loved splashing around in the warm water. We opted to have breakfast delivered to our room, which was a convenient and nice touch in theory. The presentation of the food was absolutely beautiful but it looked way better than it tasted, unfortunately. While the meal wasn't bad, the flavor didn't quite match the high standard of the presentation. For the little ones, the hotel is a dream. There is a playroom where they can watch movies, as well as a mini race track where they can drive electric cars. To top it off, the unlimited supply of drinks and snacks was a huge hit with them, making the stay feel extra special. Overall, we had a wonderful experience and are already looking forward to returning in the near future. Highly recommended for families looking for a relaxing retreat.
Friendly stay with great hot springs and kid facilities, but watch the bathroom edges We stayed here for three nights with a multi-generational group, including a 80-year-old, a 4-year-old daughter, and an 1-year-old toddler. Overall, the experience was positive and the staff was very friendly to our family. The highlight was definitely the hot springs—very relaxing and enjoyable for everyone. However, I wanted to highlight a safety concern regarding the bathroom design. While the facilities are nice, the stone edges at the base of the bathtub are quite sharp and protrude slightly. If you aren't paying close attention, it is very easy to stub or hurt your toes on these corners. For families traveling with seniors or toddlers who might be unsteady on their feet, please be extra cautious in the splash zones.
