What a lovely property. Stayed in the "Amazing Suite". Massive suite with 180degree views of the city and 101. Fantastic service, lovely people, my wife and I would go back any day! Make time to go up in the gondola to see the zoo and Taipei from above
Great location and vibrant pool scene, but let down by room size, service, and elevator issues. The Good: The overall atmosphere is vibrant, hype, and stylish. The location is unbeatable. The standout highlight is definitely the outdoor pool, which features great live music in the late afternoon—a wonderful place to unwind. The Bad: We booked the Spectacular Room, but found it surprisingly compact. During our stay, there were also noticeable issues with the elevators, resulting in long wait times and frequent stops at almost every floor. Additionally, the service fell short of expectations for a hotel of this tier. Verdict: Great for the energetic vibe and pool scene, but room layout/size and service consistency leave room for improvement.
Definitely the best hotel I have ever stayed!! Hope I wl come back again! Service is so good, staff are nice! Found some blood spot on my bedsheet after room cleaning on one night, informed the staff and they came over to clean up immediately. Appreciate that!
Best top tier hotel For international travelers Locating at THE CORE location in Taiwan, It is consistent with its brand with a modern stylish top class high quality design and service all over. More importantly it is also such a family friendly hotel. The staff members also know to take care of kids. that I I had a family of 5 with 2 adults and 3 kids in a double room with no questions at all to enjoy the full services and food. Also learned during my stay that many local families come over to stay the weekend to enjoy the breakfast (very busy but still great!) while watching kids swimming in the pool.
The location is excellent, the design is bold and modern, and the overall vibe feels energetic without being overwhelming. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, with great views and all the little details you expect from a W property. Service across the hotel was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The only downside for us was breakfast. While the buffet itself is large and high quality, more than 80% of the hot items were pork-based, which significantly limited our options. It would be great to see more variety with non-pork proteins or clearly expanded alternatives to make breakfast more inclusive. Would I go back NO, would I recommend it, NO.
