We had a wonderful stay at The Gaia Hotel Taipei. A special thank you to Tracy from Piacere, whose warm and attentive service made our dining experience especially memorable.
The hotel itself was peaceful, elegant and beautifully maintained. Our room was clean and comfortable, and the hot-spring experience was incredibly relaxing. Every staff member we encountered was courteous and helpful, making us feel very well cared for throughout our stay.
We would happily stay at The Gaia Hotel Taipei again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Beitou.

While the hotel itself isn't a luxury 5-star property, the staff's exceptional 5-star service more than made up for the facilities. The pools and the in-room hot spring were very clean and relaxing, and the kids absolutely loved them!
We had a great stay here at the Gaia Hotel. It started with the friendly shuttle service that made us feel very welcome, and when we arrived, the staff were very cordial and polite.
The room was spacious with a sulfur spa inside, certainly great for unwinding! We also enjoyed the pool and the spa treatments on the 3rd floor!
The breakfast was fine, lacking maybe a few sweet options for Western palates, but other than that, the food had been good!
My first stop in my three weeks travel across Asia, the Gaia placed me in the perfect mood to unwind. Access is super easy from Taipei and although they offer a free shuttle bus I walked from Xin Beitou straight to the hotel. The natural aroma and the cloudy atmosphere delivered cozy notes throughout my three night stay. Henry and Wendy at the front desk and Tim and Bekcy at the hot springs made me feel special. I want to thank everyone at Piacere restaurant, the shuttle team and housekeeping who always left fruits and traditional pastries in the room to savor after the hot springs sessions. I loved the integration of the sulfur tub in the room- it was great to start off the day with a 12 minute decompression before heading down to breakfast. Loved the selected book collection in my room (108 Adages of Wisdom, Jing Si Aphorisms) and the proximity to the Beitou Park which I enjoyed on my last day. The library at the lobby is unique and as a book-lover it made me feel right at home. The hot springs were delightful and restorative with opportunities for quietness and contemplation. Although just for one night, the experiences were wonderful. All the staff members were very polite and helpful. Room size was decent. The hot spring was very relaxing. We had both dinner and breakfast at the western restaurant in the hotel. Dinner was great and tasty. Semi-buffet breakfast offer great selections. Staff at the restaurant was very professional. Will definitely come back again for another relaxing holiday.
