Disappointing B&B Experience We stayed at Sunny G B&B expecting the charm and hospitality typically associated with a bed and breakfast. Unfortunately, the experience fell short. The bed was extremely soft, causing us to roll toward the middle. There were cobwebs in the corner of our suite, and broken slats on the bifold bathroom door offered little privacy, particularly disappointing in a two-bedroom suite. The website advertised made-to-order breakfast, yet the day before arrival we received an email stating breakfast wasn’t included because of our discounted rate. We were pleasantly surprised to receive breakfast after all, but the quality was below average, including microwaved bacon. We appreciated being allowed to check in early. However, the innkeepers seemed tired and perhaps burned out, and the overall experience lacked the warmth and attention to detail we associate with a B&B. With some maintenance and renewed attention to hospitality, this property could offer a much better guest experience.

Don't mind the few bad reviews from whiny old boomers. The self check-in is amazing! I don't want to talk to anyone after a long day of traveling so it was nice to just check myself in and go to my room. Breakfast was great and our room was very comfortable and clean. Filling out what I wanted for breakfast was simple. I don't have anything negative to say.
Honestly baffled by the high ratings. The high ratings led to higher expectations than what we actually got. This is a house, split into multiple rooms that guests can book. You're essentially sharing the house with other roommates. I booked on hotels.com and expected something more like a hotel than an Airbnb. At a very similar price, I could've just booked at the local Best Western. Or if I just wanted to book a room in a home on Airbnb like this place, it would've cost less! Room 6 could've used a trash can, a table (even a small one, since it lacks nightstands or any surface to put my phone, keys, wallet on), a tissue box, and an extra roll of toilet paper. When we arrived, the toilet roll was low on paper. I know we paid a discounted rate but these things are just basic and makes the place seem very stingy. This place does remind me of the saying...penny wise, pound foolish. Compared to other places, there also isn't a TV, but we didn't really need one. As for feedback, the carpet makes the room look dingy and old. If there's hardwood underneath, I'd recommend removing the carpet to update the room. The decor on the shelves were all dusty. I'd recommend removing them or dusting them more to make the place look cleaner. Checkout is at 10am, which is a bit early for me on vacation. At least do 11am like almost everyone else. Also the bathroom is already pretty dark and with the one lightbulb that was out, it was even darker. Maybe because it is an 1811 house but there was definitely mold of some sort that we could detect. Ended up waking up with a headache and not feeling great.
The Sunny G is the perfect place to stay if you're skiing in the Valley and you want access to the Mad River Coffee House and restaurants along 93 down to Plymouth. Christina is a friendly and easy-going host, and the house is very cozy to relax in.
We had a wonderful stay at The Sunny G B&B! We stayed in Suite 2 and it was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Check-in was super easy, and Christina and Troy were such welcoming hosts who truly go above and beyond. The atmosphere was clean, cozy, and relaxing. Breakfast each morning was absolutely delicious. We had to check out very early (5:45 AM), and they even had a fresh pot of coffee waiting for us along with breakfast sandwiches to take on the road — such a thoughtful touch! Highly recommend this beautiful bed and breakfast — we’ll definitely be back!
