⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Had a really good experience at Spring City Resort’s public hot spring! It was super relaxing and a great way to unwind after a long day. The facilities were nice, and I really enjoyed the whole experience. My tip is to come after 5pm, as the crowds tend to thin out and it’s much more peaceful to enjoy the hot springs without too many people around. Another plus point is that they provide a shuttle bus, which makes getting there more convenient. Just take note that the shuttle runs every 30 minutes, so plan your timing accordingly. Overall, definitely worth a visit if you’re in Beitou! Would happily come back again. ♨️

Nestled in the hot spring area of Xinbeitou, this place has a charming, nostalgic atmosphere reminiscent of Izu Nagaoka. The highlight of the stay is the private in-room hot spring bath. You have complete control over both the water temperature and water level, making for a truly peaceful and relaxing soak. The white sulfur spring water is genuine, clean, and incredible for melting away fatigue and work stress. The staff also offer warm, polite hospitality that makes you feel welcomed right away. The facilities lean vintage, but everything is functional and very well-maintained. The only real downside is the location up the hill—while they offer a free shuttle bus, it runs roughly once per hour, so you will need to plan your trips around the schedule. Aside from the transport logistics, it was a very comfortable and restorative stay.
We absolutely loved our experience at Spring City Resort Hot Springs! We didn’t stay at the resort—we purchased a day pass specifically to enjoy the hot springs, and it was completely worth it. We arrived earlier in the day, and it was so peaceful and quiet. It gave us plenty of time to relax, try the different pools, and really enjoy the experience without feeling crowded. It started getting much busier after 4 PM, so I definitely recommend going earlier if you want a more relaxing atmosphere. They had everything we needed to enjoy the day, which made the experience easy and stress-free. We were able to just show up, relax, and enjoy the hot springs. This was such a great break from sightseeing and walking around Taipei. If you’re visiting and want the hot spring experience without staying overnight at a resort, the day pass is a fantastic option. We would absolutely do this again!
The public outdoor thermal bath is open until 10:00 p.m. and costs NTD 900 per person, including a towel, sandals, and a swimming cap. Swimwear is required, and the bathing area is mixed for men and women. Children are welcome as well. There are several very hot pools as well as cold ones. The facilities are a little dated, but they still have a certain charm. Unfortunately, there are very few comfortable loungers or places to relax. A free shuttle service to Beitou is also available.
Came here to check out their Public/private hot spring services. Fortunately we came during off peak season and managed to get our own private onsen room. You’ve got about 1hr to use their private rooms, which is more than enough for a quite private time to relax away. Definitely much better to come during the winter for sure.
