First time coming to Taiwan and I’m super picky about hotels and was impressed by the room and service. Booked for $150+ a night, for 5 nights for 2 people so spent a little extra compared to other hotels but it was worth it for the comfort and cleanliness. Clean towels are given everyday, and room was cleaned every other day. Shampoo, conditioner, and soap was provided. Room was spacious enough for 2 small and 2 large luggage. Didn’t get an icky/dirty feeling when staying here. The view from our room was great as well. Lobby is nice and spacious and you can leave your luggage here before and after your stay. We had questions throughout our stay and the front desk was very friendly and professional. Would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful hotel with convenient coin-operated washing machines and dryers in the laundry room and a gym. It smells so good and the room had a clean, minimalist design. The bath gel smelt amazing and my kids had very happy bubble baths. The surrounding area is lively and it’s easy to get an Uber from the hotel. It’s also near the train station and the metro.
★★★★★ I had a wonderful stay at Solaria Nishitetsu Hotel Taipei Ximen on August 5, 2026. I stayed in Room 2106, which was clean, comfortable, and offered an amazing panoramic view of Taipei. Both the daytime and nighttime city views were absolutely beautiful and made my stay even more memorable. The breakfast on the 7th floor was truly outstanding. There was a wide variety of delicious dishes, featuring both Japanese and Western cuisine. My favorite was the freshly prepared sushi, made by the chef right in front of the guests. It was incredibly fresh, authentic, and one of the highlights of my stay. What impressed me the most was the exceptional service. Every member of the restaurant team was warm, friendly, professional, and always greeted guests with a smile. I would especially like to thank Restaurant Manager Nami for the warm hospitality and detailed introduction to the breakfast selections. Her kindness, enthusiasm, and attentive service made the dining experience even more enjoyable. Overall, everything exceeded my expectations—from the comfortable room and spectacular city view to the excellent breakfast and outstanding hospitality. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Taipei, and I will definitely stay here again on my next trip.
Good hotel in a good location. Breakfast was decent with a lot of selection. When we checked in our room reaked of cigarette smoke (even though it was a non smoking hotel). The staff didnt believe me so I invited them to smell it themselves and they immediately smelled the concern. They promptly moved us to another room but the smell in the room should have flagged by housekeeping, it was very strong.
One of the best hotels I’ve stayed at! Very clean throughout hotel and in the rooms. The lobby always smells like a spa the moment you get in. Staff speaks and understands English well; accommodating and helpful. The hotel amenities has a laundry room, gym, luggage storage with locks/lockers, complimentary coffee and water bottles in the lobby. Rooms have complimentary slippers, bidet toilet, mini fridge and quiet at night. Location is near Ximendang and close by various shops, boba tea, snacks, and food nearby. The lobby is on the 6th floor and easy to navigate around. If you’re taking Uber around, it is relatively easy for pick ups/drop offs. Overall, highly recommend this hotel if you are in Taipei!
