We stayed at Silk Place Yilan for two nights and three days, and it was such a wonderful experience. The room was cozy, comfortable, and beautifully maintained, making it the perfect place to relax after a long day. Our kids had the best time — they especially loved the motorcycle rides designed for children and the huge playground where they could run, play, and explore freely. The breakfast buffet was another highlight, offering a wide variety of delicious foods and freshly baked breads to choose from. The hotel truly offers a welcoming atmosphere for families, combining comfort with fun activities and great dining. We left with happy hearts and would definitely love to come back again!
We came here because someone gave us a coupon to stay. If you have kids, they will love it here. They've got numerous electric go karts that your kids will love. If they weather is nice, the slide and more outdoor activities open up.. If it rains, you will drive cars inside.. I don't know if I would pay to stay, but I do want to come back. The breakfast is excellent with fresh fruit drinks. Make sure to visit the 7th floor to get coffee and cookies. It's free. You can see that people who stay here are more educated and they interact with their kids instead of playing on their phones. There are also indoor pools and free movies to watch at the theater, however, are youngest is 1.5 years old. We can't go watch a movie. Overall, a good experience!!! If you have money to spend, come here! P.S. you can grab your flip flops and soap. I think they are high quality. They are free.. Take it home.
This is a family friendly hotel designed best for kids below 10. The corridor car ride and multiple play areas were excellent for kids. But for the price of sgd 1300 per night, the service was somewhat disappointing. Especially the organisers for the kids treasure hunt and Luna dash event. We met the rudest staff at the morning Luna dash event! We were practically reprimanded for registration process as we do not understand their chinese wording well. I don’t think they are intending for their service for foreigners.
The hotel really went above and beyond and is definitely 1 of the reason our kids love and enjoyed Taiwan. The hotel is absolutely kids friendly with several amenities that cater to the kids eg. Cinema, play area, kiddy rides, snack bars etc. They also have amenities such as the spa area, gym and book cafe with drink and snack all complimentary for the hotel guest. It's a pity that our stay is short and couldn't use some of facilities but we definitely enjoyed our stay and is grateful for the hotel and staff for preparing a birthday cake for our kid who is celebrating birthday during our stay. Highly recommend it to all who wish to visit Yilan. Will definitely wish to return to the hotel soon for another stay.
Came here with my 2 kids and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Was worried that 4 pax in a double bed would be too small but the bed turns out to be big enough for 2 adults, 1 baby and 1 toddler. There was also a tent with a thin mattress inside. My girl enjoyed riding the motorbike and car around the level that we stayed. The kids also enjoyed the little play room and we also managed to catch Zootopia 2 in the Cinema. All for free. Free daily breakfast was okay - same good daily which consisted of mostly local food like porridge, rice etc. service was wonderful and reception was friendly. Given 2 free plushies as well. Hotel is located in Luna Plaza with lots of eateries as well. Overall, would love to be back here again!
