I booked a 3 night stay here and there's a lot to unpack. The staff is some of the kindest I have encountered, willing to help out with your luggage to your room. When you step in, you immediately feel the welcoming atmosphere and the staff informing you of the hotel's amenities (gym, made to serve breakfast, dinner, bar, spa, pools) which you should make the most of if you are staying here. The pools are amazing and I cannot recommend them enough. The restaurant's food and drink here is well worth the dining and the price is just right. There is free self serve laundry service but it's somewhat limited. They have a dehydrator machine for your more delicate clothes in case you do not wish to use a conventional dryer. My suggestion is to book this place if you plan on making full use of the resort. If you wish to travel around more the area, do not go too far away and relax at this place. Only thing I would suggest is the basement where the laundry room is should have signal and/or wifi. Other than that, you'll enjoy your time here.

I'm pleasantly delighted by the friendliness and helpfulness of the service crew eg the driver, front desk (must call out Rainy and another that I didn't get her name). Their smile felt sincere. Rainy helped making arrangements and provided answers to all our questions with her pleasant smile through out. The hotel location is walking distance away to the public cold spring that really has bubbles when dipping in.
Wow what a hotel. I was not expecting such a grand experience when I booked the hotel. I was in town to visit a friend and just needed a place the stay. Well I was in for a pleasant surprise. I was warmly welcomed by the bell team who helped with my luggage and then showed me where to self park across the street. You enter the hotel in a grand lobby and you look out at the hot/cold pools at the hotel. At check in the team was welcoming, efficient and kind. There are a few rules to the hotel (regarding the pool access) so its takes a bit longer than a normal check in and your are given your keys and wrist band. I was then taken up to the my room, which was a bit of walk and introduced to the hotel amenities along the way. The room was high up and over looked town and the ocean in the distance. The room has a large bathroom, and living area with a working desk and then large sliding glass doors that take you out to you our own private onsen pools that look out over town. There are two in the room I had, I guess for cold and hot. I had dinner once in the dinning room and the beef noodle dish was delicious. Now the pools, they have cold pools, cool pools hot pools, warm pools, pools with jets, pools with showers, etc. They have and adults only section on the top floor as well. There are indoor and outdoor pools, there are just a lot of pools. There all kept very clean and again I never saw another person using them while I was there in early December. They offer large pool towels that you can sign out at the pool deck. There is a small gym downstairs and also a family room for children's activities. There seemed to be something planned each day if I translated it correctly. Would totally recommend to stay here if you are in the area and needing a place to relax and escape. Easy drive from Taipei. There is a grocery store at the end of the block so you can stock up on snacks and drinks as well.
The hot spring facilities are very nice and the hotel does have a very relaxing environment. However, the dinner and breakfast service is poorly managed with some stupid regulations. The offer of 2 hours free flow drinks can only be applied to all members of the dinner party which is ludicrous when travelling with children! Breakfast! Wow, what a shambles. We turned up for breakfast at 09:00 to be told we needed to wait for 20-25 minutes because no 4 person tables were available. 45 minutes later, we finally were given a table. We paid nearly $13,000NTD for this hotel for one night and this level of service is just not acceptable. There are plenty of tables available in another floor which is utilised for dinner, so why not breakfast at peak time during public holidays?
Mix of luxury and absurd. Good for 4-star hotel. But nothing close to 5 ;) Good things: really nice swimming area, jacuzzi, hot and cold springs. Not crowded, friendly stuff and quite clean everywhere. Rooms are also very comfortable and cozy with a nice view. Bad things: food is really poor. Took room with breakfast for 4 days. Skipped 3 of them after first breakfast. Poor selection, food is just not good. Same with dinning options. Very pale and very expensive comparing to the great variety you have just outside the hotel. No room service. I tried to order a tea to my room, what I got is paper “take away”cup. It’s far from claimed 5-star experience. Payed robes to rent? 😂 Payed area to sit near the pool? 🥴 it is not about money, it is about how you treat guests and these things are ridiculous and absurd in my opinion. A lot to improve.
