Park Taipei Hotel

As others have said, the location is excellent. The MRT exit is just a few meters away, so getting around Taipei is fast & easy. The front desk was fine, but not as forthcoming as other hotel receptions on our trip. I was travelling with friends & we had booked two rooms. Both rooms were clean & fine & mine even had a view of Taipei 101 which was a nice introduction to Taipei. The main issue was our shower & how the front desk & maintenance (did not respond) to our issue. We had a long flight behind us & my friend went to use the shower & said the temperature was tepid. When I used it I let it run for 5 minutes & it was still only tepid. When I tried the water coming from the sink, it seemed to be warmer. When we left the hotel the next day to go sightseeing, we let the front desk know of the issue. When we came back later that day, we asked whether it had been looked at. They said yes, and that maintenance had measured the temperature of the water, that it was fine & that we should let it run a while before using it. We did what they said & when we used it again, the shower was again tepid (almost cold)! The only reason it wasn't awful was because it was extremely hot & humid outside. If the weather had been cooler, it would have been awful. We also asked our friends how their room's shower was & they said it was fine & offered us to use theirs! I do not take issue with there being a problem with the temperature of the shower (these things happen), but I do take issue with someone telling me that I am imagining a shower is running cold. By the way, the temperature of all the other showers I used on our Taiwan trip were fine ...

The hotel is very convenient (Daan MRT exit is right in front of the hotel entrance) and the rooms are clean. The front desk staff I’ve interacted with were all very kind and considerate. We had a late night/early morning flight and the staff kindly offered to let us rest at the hotel lounge, which was great. We would consider staying here in the future when we travel in Taipei.

I didn't actually stay at this hotel but halfway through planning my trip, I had to change my itinerary so I had to cancel my booking. I sent an email inquiry with regard to their reimbursement timeline and received a prompt response from the hotel management. I was then able to receive the full refund within two weeks which was well within my expectations. Many thanks to the excellent customer service I experienced.

We arrived early in the morning and were warmly welcomed by Vincent. He was incredibly attentive and promptly invited us to rest in the lounge while we waited. About an hour later, he personally came to let us know that our room would be ready soon. He kindly expedited our early check-in and even upgraded our room, which was a thoughtful gesture that went above and beyond our expectations. We've visited Taipei many times, but this was the first time a hotel welcome made such a lasting impression. Vincent's exceptional hospitality set the tone for our entire trip and made us feel genuinely valued from the moment we arrived. Thank you for making the our stay so memorable, Vincent 😬
