I had such a wonderful stay, and I want to give a special shoutout to Lucy at the front desk! From the moment l checked in, she was incredibly friendly, patient, and welcoming. She answered all of our questions and made us feel right at home. Her English is excellent, so communicating with her was effortless. I also noticed her speaking Japanese with other guests. Since I know a little Japanese myself, I ended up chatting with her in Japanese too, and it was actually a lot of fun! Her Japanese was so fluent that I was genuinely impressed. I wasn’t feeling very well when arrived, and Lucy kindly helped arrange for me to get into our room early so I could rest. That thoughtful gesture meant so much to me, and it really made me feel cared for during my stay. I’d also like to mention that everyone working on the first floor was incredibly kind and welcoming. Every interaction felt warm and genuine, which made the entire experience even more enjoyable. Great service truly makes all the difference, and Lucy, along with the whole team, made this stay a memorable one. We’ll definitely stay here again. Thank you, Lucy, and thank you to everyone for your wonderful hospitality! l love you Lucy!

Dramatic design, Fabulous decor, gorgeous private patio, GREAT water pressure and wonderful tub, delicious water from "sparkling room", but best of all is the "breakfast" buffet! Extremely wide variety of fresh, decision ingredients. ***Andy the valet provided wonderful service, and the location could not be better for catching trains in and out of town.***
Location was fantastic (I prefer this area vs near Taipei 101). The decor is fun - felt like we were more at Disney than a 5 star hotel in the middle of a busy metro. There is some wear happening around the hotel if you look closely. But it was comfortable and clean. The breakfast buffet was fantastic and the club lounge was useful (light bites and drinks). My only complaint… I believe they pulled a bit of a bait and switch on us with the room. We booked the prestige club level king for 3 nights under two successive bookings. We then were told that we had to pay more to stay in the same room. I had proof I booked identical rooms, but it didn’t seem to matter. I wouldn’t stay here again for this reason as I do not want to support somewhere with this style of business practices.
It has been a great experience staying at Palais de Chine hotel. The service great as well, all people are respectful and helpful. You can ask any questions, they will do their best to help you. Location is close to most of places inside the city. The neighborhood is safe to walk around at night. Breakfast is buffet and highly recommended they have mix of Taiwanese and western food.
Had a wonderful stay at Palais de Chine Hotel. Definitely one of the most memorable hotels I’ve stayed in Taipei. The international breakfast was excellent with a huge variety of choices, and the best part, it’s served until 12pm! Perfect for guests who want to enjoy a slow and relaxing morning. The hotel staffs were extremely polite, professional, well-trained and always greeted guests with a lovely attitude. Their hospitality really made the stay even more enjoyable. Absolutely loved the hotel ambience too, warm lighting, elegant luxury interior design and a very classy atmosphere throughout the hotel. Location is another big plus. The hotel is just a stone’s throw away from Taipei Main Station, making it super convenient for travelling around Taipei. One of my favourite parts was the complimentary executive bar service at Level 17, available until 10pm. They served beers, liquor, whiskey, snacks and more. Truly a paradise for alcoholic guests who enjoy winding down after a long day. The room size was comfortable and spacious, with high-quality amenities and thoughtful details provided. One small thing I didn’t notice was that the hotel actually provides complimentary shuttle service from Taoyuan Airport. It would be even better if the hotel could check with guests in advance whether they require the shuttle service. Overall, definitely worth the money and we truly enjoyed our stay very much. Highly recommended and will surely come back again!
