Excellent stay – highly recommended! Everything about our stay was excellent! The room was very quiet, the bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were some of the best I’ve ever slept on. The bathroom was spotless, with a separate bathtub and a fantastic shower with excellent water pressure. The staff were exceptionally helpful and genuinely willing to go the extra mile. We rented a baby cot from an external company, and the hotel coordinated everything directly with them, making sure it was set up in our room before our arrival and collected after our departure. They even helped me order food through Uber Eats when the menus were only available in Mandarin! The breakfast was excellent, with a great selection of Western food and genuinely good bread. The laundry facilities inside the building were incredibly convenient and very affordable, and the gym was fantastic. We didn’t use the swimming pool, but it looked lovely and peaceful. The hotel also offers a shuttle service to the nearest metro station, although it’s easily within walking distance. There are several convenience stores just a minute or two away on foot. Considering the quality of the accommodation, facilities and service, the price was incredibly reasonable. I honestly couldn’t fault anything about our stay. Everything exceeded our expectations, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

I recently stayed at Miramar Garden Taipei from 4 to 9 September 2026. While the hotel itself is a beautiful property with impressive facilities, I was unfortunately disappointed by the overall level of service and hospitality throughout my stay. Upon arrival, the first impression was already disappointing. The staff stationed at the porte-cochère did not bother to offer any assistance with my luggage. Instead, they simply stood there and directed me towards the check-in counter. For a hotel positioning itself in the luxury category, I would have expected a much warmer welcome and a more proactive approach to guest assistance. However, the most concerning incident occurred during my stay when I was taking an afternoon nap in my room. A housekeeping staff member rang the doorbell just once before immediately entering my room, without allowing sufficient time for me to respond. This was extremely uncomfortable and a clear disregard for guest privacy. I believe any reputable hotel should have proper standard operating procedures for housekeeping staff entering occupied guest rooms, including allowing sufficient time for guests to respond before entering. Later, while heading downstairs, I approached a member of the reception team to raise my concern about the incident. Unfortunately, the response was nothing more than a simple verbal apology. There was no follow-up, no courtesy call, no written apology, or any gesture to acknowledge the seriousness of the situation. I was particularly disappointed by the lack of concern and service recovery from the hotel. I know the importance of service standards, guest privacy, attention to detail, and genuine hospitality. These are fundamental expectations, particularly for a hotel charging premium rates. For the price paid and the hotel's positioning as a luxury property, I genuinely expected a much higher level of professionalism, courtesy, and attentiveness from the team. The property itself is lovely, but unfortunately, the service does not match the standard of the facilities or the price being charged. I strongly believe the management should place greater emphasis on staff training, guest engagement, housekeeping procedures, and effective service recovery. At the end of the day, beautiful facilities alone do not make a great hotel. It is the people, their attitude, and the quality of service that truly define the hospitality experience. Unfortunately, Miramar Garden Taipei fell short of those expectations during my stay, and I sincerely hope the management takes this feedback seriously and works towards improving its service standards.
Great hotel located centrally in Taipei. The rooms were very spacious and clean. I especially loved the bathroom size and layout. Guest service available everyday and they even replenish your complementary snacks and drinks. Breakfast was good especially the cooking station. I only wish they had a bit more variation day by day Beds were soft and nice to sleep in. The pillows were a bit hard for my liking.
Stayed for 5 nights, great hotel very clean and room was surprisingly large with two queen beds and a decent size bathroom. The pool area was great and a welcome reprieve from the heat. Breakfast was serviceable - a little more variety each day would have been great but it did the job. Water refill stations on each floor. Found most stations an easy 10-15 walk from the hotel. Enjoyed our stay
The staff were nice and helpful, and they kindly provided us with a firmer pillow when we asked. The room was clean, although it had a slight damp smell, which wasn’t very pleasant. It wasn’t bad enough to be a major issue, though. The hotel itself also feels a little old. Breakfast was alright. The gym and pool were great and probably some of the highlights of the hotel. There is also a shuttle service to the nearest train station, which is otherwise about a 10-minute walk away. If you’re staying in one of the business rooms, you also get access to the lounge, where you can enjoy complimentary drinks, sweets, snacks, ice cream and even wine. They also serve a light meal at certain times in the evening. We really enjoyed the lounge, especially its calm atmosphere and lovely music. It was a great place to relax and cool down after a hot day. Overall, we had a good stay and enjoyed the hotel, although there were a few areas where we expected a little more.
