Madison Taipei, A Tribute Portfolio Hotel

I stayed here for 4 nights in Taipei last December, and it was such a lovely experience!❤️😊 I booked a room that included breakfast, and the breakfast was amazing. It was a buffet, so there were so many choices, and the menu was different every day. Everything was delicious 🤤🍳🍞, and I was never disappointed throughout my 4-night, 5-day stay. The staff were also very kind and friendly, especially the bellboy and the security guards at the entrance. There was an uncle and a younger staff member who were both so nice and helpful to me. On my last day, when I had to take my luggage to the taxi, they even helped me carry it and spoke with the taxi driver for me. I really appreciated their kindness and wonderful service! ☺️❤️🚕 If I have a chance to visit Taipei again, I will definitely stay here. It’s a lovely hotel with large, comfortable rooms, a quiet atmosphere, and a great location that makes it easy to get around the city! I really loved my stay here and would happily come back again!🫶🏻🥰

5/5 Easy The location is decent—quiet when you want to rest, but still lively enough to enjoy the area. There are also some of the best bars hidden nearby. What really impressed us was the service. It was genuinely beyond our expectations—attentive, friendly, and always on point. We love Taiwanese supper, but the weather wasn’t great enough to go out, so we ordered Uber Eats. The food was delivered to our room by a robot real quick after the delivery person left it to reception, I felt so relax that I didn't have to talk to or see anyone when I was in my pajamas. I didn't mention my birthday at all yet they prepared a letter and a cake(delicious) delivered to my room :) On checkout, the door staffs were also very thoughtful. They politely guided our Uber driver to a covered spot so we wouldn’t get wet in the crazy rain. We’ll definitely return the next time we visit Taipei.

Location is kind of central yet not exactly within short walking distance from anything. It's in between 2 metro stations, with quite some food options within 10-15 mins walk. Service is excellent, the staff at the door saw me from a distance and came over to help me with the luggage. They are also always greeting with a smile at the door. I appreciate them noting my room preference and also prepared a gift and a slice of cake as I was celebrating my birthday during my stay. The room is smaller than I expected, still comfy for me staying alone but could be a bit tight for 2 with luggages laid out. The bathroom is a good size with a heated bidet toilet bowl. The bed is firm but pillow is too soft for my liking. The hair dryer is also rather weak and took a while to dry my hair. I love that the complementary mini bar includes potato chips and Taiwan local beer!

EDIT: I upgrade from 4 to 5 stars because of their service and consistency. I have stayed now 3 times there and service has consistently been good. I had a meeting outside of Taipei and had to sleep elsewhere but my flight away was only the following day, so I asked if I could leave my suitcase for an entire night until the following evening with them (even though my reservation was already ending). They didn't question and it was perfectly fine for them. On top, the next day, we forgot something in the public bathroom of the hotel and were on the way to the hotel, they accomodated and organised a taxi to bring the forgotten item to the airport. They were extremely helpful and kept on checking with us to make sure we had received the item. So, to all the staff on that day, a big thank you and a deserved 5 star for their service! Solid hotel, newly joined marriott programme. Staff are friendly and quick, rooms are spatious and clean with basic amenities (I was however missing some body lotion). Location very convenient, with everything you need within walking distance as well as bus station close by.
