Good location near the center of the down, and it is only 6-7 mins walk from the Jiaoxi Train station. Room is in good size, comfortable bed and bathroom has its own hotspring bath tub. A swimming pool and indoor spa are on 3rd floor, open naked hot spring on roof top which you can enjoy a nice view at night. Breakfast offers variety of food in Western and Oriental style till 11 am.
Mixed bag. We booked a suite. It came with a kitchen with absolutely nothing. Not even a spoon, a knife or a plate. Nice bathroom with hot spring water. A safe not mounted to anything so anyone could just take it including whatever is inside. The room layout is absolutely meaningless. The living room/kitchen has no windows because the bathroom and a separate toilet are facing the windows so in order to get daylight into the living room, you need to open the toilet door. Who on earth designed this? Of positive notes, the bed was good and the hot water tub in the bathroom a very good feature and in general, the bedroom was well equipped. Throughout the room there were multi-plug outlets so European plugs could be used. A very practical feature. This could have been so much better but wasn't.
The staff were friendly, and we’d like to give special thanks to Joanna Lim, who was incredibly caring and helped arrange an early check-in for us after we got soaked from hiking. The service made us feel truly welcomed. We also enjoyed the facilities, as well as the complimentary snacks and breakfast. Highly recommended if you’re planning a stay in Jiaoxi.
We booked this hotel for its hot spring and were delighted to encounter a spacious, clean and well maintained pools and wash room. There are 3 pools with different temperature and functions. Special mention of staff David, he is service oriented and helpful and this made our overall experience pleasant. Due to time constraint, we didn't have chance to experience the open air hot spring. Hope to revisit this hotel the next time.
Cleanliness was a let down. Seems like the carpets on the hallway have not been deep-cleaned for ages. It’s a horror to find the counter of our room not cleaned, filled with oil stains from previous guests just 5 mins after stepping into our room. Thankfully service is great, housekeeper was sent up almost immediately after we informed them about it. Lighting wasn’t to my liking too. Even the reception was a tad too dark. Would be perfect if you’re looking for a warm ambient to relax. Onsen in the room is great though. Fills up really quickly and at least the tub was clean. The overall experience was pretty average.
