Rooms are very small, but comes with huge bathroom. Very popular with local tourist. Sound proofing is great. Typical local Breakfast and you can dine in with outside food too. Great service from the staff. 10mins walk to Jiaoxi Bus Transfer Station. Also 10mins walk to the Train Station. 7-11s and Statbucks also within 5mins.
Absolutely beautiful hotel. Delicious breakfast, snacks available all day. Outdoor big pool was warm like a bath, lovely! Outdoor hot tub was so nice and hot. Indoor basement cold tub and huge hot tub for adults only. Huge tub in each room. Perfect hotel. 2nd floor kids two areas. One with games and one with Legos and stationary And origami paper. Just wonderful experience all around.
We enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The lobby has free flow of tea and snacks in the evening. Nice place to wind down and plan the programme for the following day. There are a couple of watching machines in the ground floor. Of course the highlight is the hot spring water and tub in every room. Only downside is it is a little squeeze for 4 of us (2 adults and 2 children)
Highly recommend this hotel. After a lack Lustre stay at one of the more well known hotel chains in Taichung, we were a but disappointed with hotels and regretting not going for homestays. This hotel changed our mind. Service is top notch and staff go out of their way to help. For example, when i asked Just Sleep for train schedules, staff at the reception printed out the schedule and explained the differences in the different trains and timings. By contrast, the other hotel told me to go to the Taichung train station to find out myself. Breakfast was filled with local delights and staff took the time to explain the specials of the day. Tea and supper is also provided and our fav by far was the thick kumquat juice which was really nice in the cold yilan weather. The public hot springs are well maintained and kids had fun in the heated outdoor pool. The rooms also came with a huge bath tub and hot springs water. Overall a pleasant stay. Although it was out of the way from all the activities planned for the kids, we will definitely plan on returning in future.
10/10 recommended! We attended the complimentary cookie-making class conducted by Jimmy. There is no limit to the number of participants per room, and the sessions are held daily. Jimmy was really friendly and cheerful! Besides teaching us how to make cookies, he also shared about places/restaurants we could visit in Jiaoxi/Yilan. Loved the aroma of the black tea cookies! Separately, Juli assisted us during check-in and was exceptionally friendly. She gave us plenty of food and sightseeing recommendations, even drawing on a map to show us the best routes to get there. Despite our many questions, she remained patient and kind throughout and made us feel welcome! The room is clean, and I especially loved that the natural spring water flowed directly into our in-room tub. It is such a relaxing experience! I would definitely recommend this hotel to any traveller and is value for money.
