Inn Cube - Gongyuan Road

Convenient location, good service, the real room is better than pictures. Very satisfy, i give 10 of 10

I arrived at Inn Cube Taipei Main Station on May 19, 2026, around 6:00 PM. A young male receptionist gave me my room key. When I entered the room, I found that it was different from what I had originally booked. I returned to the reception to clarify, and he told me that my room had been “upgraded” from a single to a double bed, claiming that he had already informed me. However, this was not clearly communicated, and no confirmation was sought from me. After going back to the room, I could not find any clear instructions for accessing the Wi-Fi, so I had to return to the reception again. He told me there was a paper on the table with the information, but what concerned me more was his attitude. He told me not to ask questions one at a time, but to gather all questions and ask them at once. I found his behavior dismissive, impatient, and unprofessional. As a guest, I should be able to ask reasonable questions without being made to feel like a burden. This interaction made me feel very uncomfortable and negatively affected my overall experience.

Booked a lower compartment but the room was not cleaned when I arrived at around midnight. I was changed to B11-2, which is a top compartment (and cheaper in Booking). The thing is if u push a bit harder, ppl could open ur door and they blame me for pushing too hard. Based on security reasons, I decided to change the hotel. Just sharing. With the same price(or even cheaper), u definitely have better options. Btw, Frontdesk guy was nice, no complaints of him.

Even though rooms are small, but you got everything you need. And most importantly, the bed sheets are clean and beds are comfortable. I have stayed at many hotels and Airbnb rooms in Taipei, some rooms look luxurious but the whole night I can’t sleep due to uncomfortable mattresses and cigarettes smell. Inn Cube surprisingly provided me the best rest and the cleanest bed sheets. You will be surprised but it’s true. I accidentally found out about Inn Cube because I’m always catching late night flights and I need a space during the day, so I tried one time and got this pleasant surprise. After that, I always stay at Inn Cube instead of regular hotels.
