This is our 3rd stay - excellent rooms and hot water- great breakfast included- truly awesome spread! Lunch and dinner are available with buffet and alacart choices. Coin laundry in the basement- the only point- a bit far from metro stations, but uber is relatively inexpensive. I often take an u er to the metro station- i will happily stay here again
it's a mixed felling to this hotel. room was really outdated and tiring look with thin mattress. Air conditioner was true noisy. They use Howard brand to manage this property, but the quality of rooms are far behind than other properties from Howard. Difficult to commute with public transportation from this property no matter of buses or MRT. However, the breakfast is amazing. I stayed there for 4 nights, main dishes were never the same.
I recently attended a conference banquet at Howard Civil Service International House (14F), and it was super nice experience starting from the good service, various delicious foods, many drink selections, and spectacular "mushroom-sesame desserts". The venue also has a beautiful view especially for sunset time. Despite hosting both Japan and Taiwan guests, everything remained joyful. I'd happily recommend it to anyone looking for a venue either semi-formal or formal purpose here.
This property has exceeded my expectations. The staffs were very nice and helpful. The room was clean, neat and tbh it was larger than i thought. Everything was okay except for the fact that it was a little bit far from MRT
Overall okay. Rooms in obvious need of cosmetic refurbishment (carpet especially is a shame), but it was well built and still feels robust. Bed comfortable; linens nice quality. With the exception of those who clear the breakfast tables, who are lovely, the staff are not exactly friendly: not hostile, but smiles are rare. There is a faint air of the large soviet hotel of the 80s, which is not a bad thing, but it is still a thing.
