Stayed here for my 2nd trip to Taiwan. Room is on the smaller side but clean, and the bed was comfortable. The young lady at the reception, Ms Lin, was most helpful and efficient. She helped me find the place I wanted to go to in Uber, as it was written in Mandarin. Once the booking was made, she informed me of the driver's name and went out to wait for the Uber car with me - which was totally unexpected but a welcome surprise, just to ensure I got the correct ride. I am grateful for her kind assistance, patience and thoughtfulness. Breakfast was ok, they have vegetarian options, on the 12th floor, and the view of the river and the Taipei cityscape was amazing ❤️! This, and Ms Lin's assistance was the highlight for me. Easy 5-10 min walk to the Ximending Night Market. A train station is within walking distance, though I didn't use it, as I used Uber instead.

- not sure if every room inside will play instruments music, but we assume that it start playing around 6am-12am - they maybe need to do an air quality testing or install air purifiers, every time we walk into our room, our nose acts up but when we are outside our nose are fine - house keeping not sure why set to 10 degrees celsius after cleaning our room. They messed around out thermostat cause we set the thermostat to 24 celsius - they use an old key to enter room instead of nowadays of using key “card” of 2. - tell me why there’s only one outlet to charge our electric device, but not extra or next to the bed area - tell me why when we switch channels on the TV it said 1/1/1980 - it’s a LIE that they say it’s “high” WIFI, it’s slow and barely work
Ms Hsu Jing Ru, is very professional, kind and patient and cute. She made our stay very pleasurable. We will book this hotel again in our next trip. I want to add: Thank you 阿偉大哥who drove us to 西門町 and Ms Ida who attended very patiently to our queries. 谢谢阿偉大哥和Ms Ida🙏🙏
The Location: It’s about a 10-15 minute walk to the main Ximending area. A bit of a trek, but totally doable. There’s a Family Mart and 7-11 nearby, and the area feels very safe. Sightseeing: You can actually walk to Longshan Temple from the hotel. It’s a nice stroll if you want to soak up the local vibes. The Room: Not bad at all! I got a room with a city view. The only downside is that the interior feels a bit dated—definitely needs a little renovation, but it’s still comfortable. Verdict: If you want somewhere quiet, budget-friendly, and close to the action without being right in the middle of the noise, this is the place! Recommended.
Excellent hotel great value for money. Can fit four adults in one room and breakfast is very good. Thank you for the one week of stay near ximending area. This area is one of the liveliest attraction areas in Taipei.
