I had a very comfortable stay at Hotel Les Champs in Jiaoxi, Yilan. The room was spacious, clean, and well laid out, with a very comfortable bed and a generous bathroom. The bathtub was a real highlight — perfect for a relaxing soak after a long day of sightseeing.
Everything felt quiet and well maintained, and the overall atmosphere was calm and restful. The location is convenient for exploring Jiaoxi, and the evening views of the surrounding buildings and mountains were a lovely bonus.
A solid, comfortable hotel option in Jiaoxi and a great base if you’re visiting Yilan. I’d happily stay here again.
We spent Valentines weekend here, our second visit having got engaged in this hotel last year. I really can't thank all the staff at Les Champs enough, you are all amazing. Reception staff Sammi, Eric and Jerry went out of their way to make this stay especially memorable for us. Housekeeping are amazing and a very special thank you to the lady who works the breakfast shift in the restaurant. I mentioned to her that I had bacon on our previous stay and she ensured I had plenty of bacon and scrambled eggs for our last two days.
We love this place and can't wait to come back. Thank you, thank you, thank you 😊
We stayed in Japanese styled family suite, with 2 queen beds. Beds are placed on the floor, which is ok and comfortable enough. Room is small though, there is hardly any space to put and open 4 luggages. Hot water dispenser, fridge, hair dryer provided. No amenities like toothbrush, room slippers. Huge toilet equipped with soaking area. Railway tracks behind but not bothered by it. More disturbed by sound of talking and music from neighbouring room as soundproofing not as good. Free snack and drinks in room and lobby. Swimming pool and onsen pool available, with lots of other facilities free for use in the basement eg, table soccer, table tennis, pool tables, tv game consoles. Walking distance to eateries and free parking in building beside.. overall a good stay and value for money.
My family realty enjoyed stay there. Great amenities to keep the kids occupied. Wonderful breakfast and super friendly staff. Loved the option of a personal hot spring bath in the room!
The hotel delivers an impressive experience with top-tier amenities and polished presentation. The pool area stands out—beautifully maintained with two pools and a hot tub. However, both pools were extremely warm, lacking the refreshing coolness you'd typically expect.
Inside, the hotel adds thoughtful touches like a complimentary drink and candy bar, which really sets it apart. The lower level features a spacious recreation room, complete with a dedicated kids’ play area. Breakfast is served buffet-style in the scenic upstairs restaurant, which, while only open in the morning, offers a satisfying and well-rounded start to the day.
The staff were friendly and accommodating. Although communication could be a bit challenging at times, Google Translate smoothed things over without much trouble. The rooms were generously sized and came with some great perks, like free drinks in the mini fridge and a complimentary welcome snack.
The biggest drawback was the beds—they were extremely firm, which made it hard to get a good night’s sleep. Between that and the overly warm pools, there’s room for improvement. Still, aside from those points, the hotel offered a fantastic stay and plenty of value.
