I had an amazing stay at Hotel Indigo Taipei North and would happily return. From the moment I checked in, the team made me feel welcome and recognized my Platinum Elite status, which was a thoughtful touch and very much appreciated. The staff throughout the hotel were consistently friendly, professional, and eager to help. A special shout-out goes to the gentleman at Bar’D, he was incredibly outgoing, engaging, and made every visit to the bar a great experience with his warm personality and excellent service. The room was another highlight. It’s beautifully designed, modern, and thoughtfully appointed with everything you could need for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to get a great night’s sleep after a day of exploring Taipei. One of the hotel’s biggest advantages is its location. It’s only about a 15-minute walk to the Jianminshan Trail, making it a great choice for travelers who enjoy hiking or want to experience a bit of nature without venturing far from the city. The gym is on the smaller side, but it has the essential equipment for a decent workout, so it was perfectly acceptable for my needs. Breakfast was good overall with a nice selection of dishes. My only suggestion would be to rotate the menu more frequently, as the offerings remain quite similar each day. Guests staying for several nights would definitely appreciate a bit more variety. Overall, Hotel Indigo Taipei North delivered a memorable experience with outstanding hospitality, stylish accommodations, and an excellent location. I highly recommend it and look forward to staying here again on my next visit to Taipei.

--- ⭐ Extremely Disappointing Stay — Flooded Bathroom and Poor Service --- I originally arrived excited to experience this hotel, but unfortunately left extremely disappointed and checked out early. The price quoted over the phone was different from the price quoted on-site. I paid the full room rate by card and was also required to pay a deposit. 🚽 The Biggest Problem: The Bathroom Flooded After using the toilet only about three times, it became blocked and flushing caused the entire bathroom to flood. The worst part? I had to use the floor mat and towels to clean the flooded floor myself. When housekeeping came to handle the problem, staff entered without changing into indoor slippers and even questioned whether I had flushed two pieces of toilet paper. ❌ Other Disappointments Mini refrigerator was barely cold. Slippers, towels, bedding, and bathroom amenities felt extremely cheap for an international hotel. Breakfast cost an additional NT$1,200, but the experience did not justify the price. The building may look impressive, but basic facilities, service quality, and guest care need significant improvement. I paid the full room rate and cooperated with the deposit requirement, but ended up cleaning a flooded bathroom myself. ❌ Very disappointing experience. I would not stay here again.
Good, stylish hotel. Creative architecture that is circular with dragon scales. Love the bathroom with the lit circular mirror and subway tiles. Parking is a bit weird because it is circular and a bit dim, but it has a huge benefit for those with kids. Because of the circular design, the car parking spaces have extra space for the back doors to fully open when you back into a space. Good for those with kids and car seats. Taiwan parking spaces are very narrow, but not here!
A newer and modern hotel in Neihu District, Taipei. Close to shopping mall and Neihu Tech campus. Great location! About 10-min walk from the MRT station Juan-nan Station. IHG Elite member gets welcome drinks, snacks, plus 6-7 pm happy hours with free wine and snacks. There are also complimentary soft drinks in the room fridge. We stay on the other side of the hotel last time and had Taipei 101 views. This time, we stay at a higher level but no 101 views. The room is very quiet and clean. I am very sensitive of humid and moldy smell. This hotel room has none of these problems! Their buffet style breakfast was fabulous! Highly recommend!!
I’m not sure what others are complaining about. It’s a four-star hotel that is verging on a five star service. I didn’t have any issues during the check in. I am a guy and the front desk guy helped me carry my big bag to the room. Yes, they don’t greet you at the car like it happens with five star hotels. But that is expected. Otherwise the room was great. The room service was also on time and they did a good job cleaning. We also were able to request it done at 11 am when it was convenient for us. (We did it through the front desk.) The (extra) breakfast was nice although a little bit repetitive. But it wasn’t very expensive either. The checkout went smooth. I can’t really complain about it. We would definitely rent a room from them again when we are back in Taipei.
