The staff were kind and helpful, the rooms have many thoughtful touches, and everything at eye level was very clean. The main area to work on is ventilation, which affected more than one room. The first had visible mold on the ceiling, and even after I requested a dehumidifier and ran the AC, overnight humidity peaked at 68%. The second had similar humidity problems, mold or discoloration on the AC vents, and elevated CO2 overnight. Rust on the gym equipment points to the same issue. Breakfast is convenient, but affordable local options are better. With these issues addressed, this would be a standout hotel, and I'm confident they can get there.

The room feels very humid and musty. We had a hard time trying to adjust the temperature in the room. If we want to make the room a bit less humid, the room feels too cold. As we turn the temperature up, the room feels extremely humid. Overall, the location is fine and service is good. Breakfast is also not bad.
Three of us (1A2C) stayed in the King room for three nights in April 2026. The king size bed was massive. We found the bed to be very comfortable for three of us. The room was spacious and we were able to connect YouTube to the TV for enjoyment. Laundry facility was available. The hotel offered luggage storage and complimentary snacks at a lounge when we arrived earlier than the check in time. We really enjoyed the daily breakfast with a spread of Western and Taiwanese food choices. The walk to the metro is longer than we anticipated. The walk is also unsheltered so I see it as potentially problematic in summer heat or rainy weather. Having said that, uber is fairly affordable in Taipei so this flaw can be overlooked if you were happy to use uber instead. We also took buses to get around some of the time and worked fairly well depending on our destination. Bus fare is cheaper than the metro fare. A reminder to tap on and off with your Easycard on buses. Google map was sufficient for us to look up bus options and also follow the map to know where to get off. We didn’t feel there were many local food choices right near the hotel. There are a couple convenience stores opposite the hotel. The hotel has a Western restaurant. The food choices in the neighbourhood did not concern us hugely as we were mostly out and about sightseeing during the day. Ubereats or Foodpanda are both also very easy to organise if needed. Overall, we had a really comfortable stay and would consider staying there again in the future.
We stayed there twice for 5 nights altogether and we were never disappointed. The rooms were spacious, clean, and with a modern interior. The breakfast buffet was the best we got on our whole Taiwan trip. The staff was very kind and helpful. Also there is a cute robot that moves around (I just don't know what it is for).
Breakfast was great with good selection and a rotating menu each day on certain items. Unfortunately, our room had a pungent, funky odor that just wouldn’t go away. We had staff come in and they said they couldn’t smell anything and offered to give us an air purifier. It didn’t really do anything. I believe the carpets are old and holding onto odors. No other issues. The other person in our party had a room that didn’t smell.
