We deliberately booked S Aura as the final hotel of our holiday specifically because of the swimming pool. Upon arrival, however, we were told that the pool is closed every Wednesday for maintenance. The information about the pool closure is buried in very small print, and finding the relevant information on the hotel’s website requires a great deal of effort. It is essentially a guessing game for guests to figure out whether the pool will actually be available during their stay. This is particularly unacceptable when the pool was one of the main reasons we chose this hotel. What makes the situation even more frustrating is that there is clearly no maintenance work taking place. This gives the impression that the weekly closure is simply about saving on staff and operating costs rather than actual maintenance. The hotel’s response was just as disappointing. There was absolutely no understanding of our situation, and the hotel refused any form of refund, discount or compensation, despite the pool being an important reason why we chose this hotel in the first place. The location is also extremely isolated and far away from everything. There is therefore very little reason to choose this hotel when there are so many much better options in Taipei. The room itself looks worn and heavily used. Just try looking out of the window – it is so dirty and covered in dust and grime that it is difficult to see anything properly. We have stayed at many hotels in Taipei and therefore have plenty to compare it with. We cannot recommend S Aura to anyone. There are many excellent hotels in Taipei. In our opinion, there is not a single good reason to book S Aura.

Great value for money. Service was great and very convenient for us. The only feedback is on their breakfast buffet which was quite uninspiring. Otherwise a good hotel I’d recommend.
Newer hotel, located in a newer area, nice shopping around and easy restaurants, but not close to the Center, to me was not a inconvenient as I was there for work and the metro took me to the Computex Nangang area in less than 15min. The breakfast was ok, beds decent but a bit on the hot side, needed to get a set of thin sheets to be able sleep better.
It was a great experience. Nana is so full of love and warm smiles, she made my stay feel like home. The food was great for my African palette, the rooms were sparkling clean, with lots of snacks.
We booked the luxury double room and it was very spacious. Bed and pillow were extremely cozy. The shower room was great with a large bath and strong water pressure. The staff was friendly and kind. We appreciated how the cleaning ladies gave us water bottles everytime they cleaned the room. Additionally, there is a vending machine that offers food and sanitary needs, adding to the additional convenience. It would be nice if there were outlets near the bed. And unfortunately one of the cleaning lady mistook a few of my souvenirs as trash inside of a bag and threw it away 😞
