We only came to this hotel for the public hot springs. It was a good experience! There was a total of 5 pools, 3 were warm pools and 2 were cold. There was a sauna and steam room as well. Water, coffee and tea was provided as well as apples, which were complimentary. We went around 9am and there was still availability for the public hot springs. When we got in there was about 3-4 other people. You only get 4 hours if you’re not actually staying at the hotel. After leaving New Beitou station you take a bus and it will take you very close to the hotel, we only walked maybe 5 minutes. We had lunch at the Chinese Cuisine restaurant and the food was good. Overall great experience!

We really enjoyed our stay! The room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Having our own private mineral hot spring tub and cold plunge was such a treat that we barely felt the need to visit the public facilities downstairs. The hotel also provides cute outfits to wear around the property, which was a lovely touch. The room was stocked with an incredibly generous selection of complimentary snacks and drinks—more than we could possibly finish! The mountain views were beautiful and added to the peaceful atmosphere. Breakfast was very nice, and we also tried dinner at the Chinese restaurant, which unfortunately didn't quite live up to our expectations. Overall, it was a wonderful, relaxing experience. We felt very comfortable and well taken care of, and we truly enjoyed our stay!
Lovely experience over all for a birthday weekend with my Mother. We loved the details in the room, the hot spring facilities and the outdoor pool. French restaurant was pretty good. Set breakfast was decent and lovely dining room. Massage was expensive for what it was. Will definitely go back for the hot spring facilites soon!
I booked this location for its location and room size. We were in the You-Ya room which is located at the corner of the building and has 270 degrees view. The room size is great and quiet which is exactly what we wanted. We had pre-ordered the Chinese vegan set meal at the Michelin star restaurant. The food tasted great, ingredients were fresh, and served on time. Since it was a set meal, the menu did list the names of the dishes. However, I was surprised the waiter did not introduce each dish upon serving. Our previous experience made me assumed a Michelin star restaurant would do as such. The breakfast was served bento box style and you choose either Western or Chinese style. They were accommodating our vegan request which we really appreciate. This is just a personal observation. The table does not get cleared right away which lead to empty cups and cluttered the table. The overall staffs were courteous as they greeted us. We do appreciate some staff recall our room number upon approach. The only set-back is there is no room service available between to restauran’s operating hours. What is the point of not having a kitchen available for the in-between hours.
I’m going to be deviating from the vastly positive reviews. My visit was very mediocre. I booked a family room. Upon arrival, we got really good tea to sip while we checked in. The room was spacious and came with complimentary drinks (tea, coffee, coke, pocari, juice, sparkling water), pineapple cakes, apples and nuts/peas). At first glance, the room seemed pretty clean but when you took a closer look at the bathroom and bathroom, it wasn’t. The shower heads and shower stalls have mold on them and I get that it’s because it’s a humid environment but I think the shower heads should have been cleaned at least especially when paying nearly a grand for one night. The view was nice though. We also had to rinse the bath since there was some weird debris(?) before filling it up. I had combined both dinner and breakfast with the room reservation and I was very excited to try the classic dinner set menu since their Chinese restaurant has a Michelin star awarded. It was flat out not good and the chicken with rice was extremely heavy on shaoxing wine to the point no one wanted to eat it. For those who cannot have alcohol of any sort, skip the classic dinner set. To my surprise, a majority of the dinner set except for 2 items are alcohol free. The Taiwanese style breakfast was ok, but I don’t think the broccoli was fresh. Overall, not a place I would stay at again, and definitely would recommend people to steer away from the classic dinner set and go for the à la carte. I think it would be a nice day trip but there are better places to stay. One positive aspect is that the service here is top tier and everyone was very kind.
