Just a few minutes from MRT. Near 2 convenient stores and a bunch of local restaurants. Also near night market and walking street. The staff is kind and very helpful, including the staff who cleans my room, the receptionists, and the stafg at the breakfast resraurant. Rooms are also spacious for solo trip. Will come back again when I visit Taipei next time!
Very luxurious feel to the hotel. I really liked the beautiful tea cups and I loved the jacuzzi in the room too. There are convenience stores and a couple of small eateries nearby; quite a long walk to the Taipei MRT / Train station.
Spacious, clean rooms with good desk and storage space. Locations is great. The only downside was the door of the rooms, which had a 5cm gap at the bottom which let in a significant amount of light, especially at night.
Service was good. A staff Frebina, was very friendly, helped us taking nice photos and recommended us places for food and shopping. The bed was comfy, the room was clean. There is also Jacuzzi in the room. The location is very strategic, walking distance to Ningxia night market and Dihua old town. You can even walk to Ximending district.
The best part of this hotel is definitely the staff. Everyone we interacted with was kind, polite, and helpful. The service and attitude of the people working there were genuinely good, and we appreciate their effort. Unfortunately, the hotel itself feels very old. The amenities and rooms are outdated, and many of the newer items seem like the cheapest possible replacements. For example, the shower head was dirty and looked like a very low-quality one you might buy cheaply online. The hair dryer was also old and weak, and it took quite a while for the water to get hot. Another issue was the plumbing noise. Whenever someone used hot water, there was a constant loud sound in our room. We could also hear a lower but noticeable noise when the neighboring room used hot water. Cleanliness was also disappointing. When we arrived, there were hairs from previous guests in the room. Even though we requested room service every day, those hairs were still there by the end of our stay. We also noticed that the cards placed on the bed had a strong smell of beer and even had some beer on them, even though we didn’t drink. Overall, because of the old facilities and cleanliness issues, I probably wouldn’t stay here again. That said, I wish the staff all the best because they were genuinely kind and professional.
