Look, if you’re in Taipei for an overnight layover and you just need a good night’s rest… THIS is your biggest bang for your buck. Clean rooms, great water pressure and it’s less than 10 minutes from the airport.

This hotel is at a convenient location to take the airplane at Taoyuan airport. It is claimed 4*, but it ages and the services degraded over time. Rooms are outdated style. Carpet needs to be changed. Bathroom is very clean. Nothing to worry about. Breakfast is “industrial” food. Tasteless, low quality. Barely eat anything except fresh bananas. No shuttle service to airport anymore. Taxis are waiting outside. They charge a 30% premium compared to Uber. Took me 1mn to get Uber car picking me. Not a long ride, not big money either but why paying more for a service that does not exist.

Extremely Disappointing Experience Our experience at this hotel was extremely disappointing, especially for a 4-star hotel. We checked in very late, around midnight, and requested a late check-out for the following afternoon. The hotel informed us that we had to pay an additional fee immediately and that we could stay until 4:00 PM. We followed their instructions and paid the fee right away. Unfortunately, we got lost on the way back to the hotel and arrived just over 10 minutes late. When we explained the situation to the front desk, we were told that the hotel staff was already cleaning our room. We were shocked to find that our personal belongings were still inside, yet the staff had entered the room and even removed and discarded personal items such as our toothbrushes and toothpaste from the bathroom. We were then told to pack our belongings and leave immediately, or we would be charged for another full night. We were willing to pay an additional fee for another 1–2 hours so that we could finish packing and take a quick shower before leaving. However, the hotel refused to offer any reasonable option and insisted that if we stayed for even a few more hours, we would have to pay for an entire additional night. We only asked for a little extra time to shower and leave with our young child, but they refused and insisted that we pack everything and leave within 10 minutes. Traveling with a young child, this situation was extremely stressful and challenging for our family. We understand that we were a little over 10 minutes late, but we had already paid for the late check-out. We were also willing to pay for the additional time we needed. We expected the hotel to handle the situation in a much more professional, respectful, and reasonable manner. For a 4-star hotel, we were extremely disappointed with the way this situation was handled. Unfortunately, this experience completely changed our impression of the hotel. We will never stay here again and would not recommend this hotel to any of our friends or family.

The location is not ideal, is isolate. It is at a close walking to the mrt station. It is close to the airport, the hotel calls the taxis (NT$200, about US$6 to the airport). The exterior looks old, the rooms are small, the lights are dim, but they have a very good shower, hot and intense, I love it. The mattress and pillows are very clean and comfortable, I slept really well there (I usually don't sleep well in most hotels), they offer free buffet breakfast. The hotel has free washing machine in the 5th floor, but you need to pay NT$50 coins to dry them. The price is really good for the rooms, very affordable. I really liked the hotel a lot. They also have vending machines in the big lobby.
