It’s a lovely hotel! The location is brilliantly convenient, and the staff are all so friendly. The room was spacious and clean, and the bed was massive and exceptionally comfy. Breakfast was lovely, even if the dining space was a little tight. Overall, a fantastic stay—absolutely recommended!

The hotel was clean, bright, and sunny. It's close to Metro, and the staff were excellent. The breakfast was also good. The only downside was the six-hour parking fee for two nights, but it's a truly fantastic hotel with mountain views. I'd love to stay here again.
TL; DR - Good value for its price. Some areas to be improved. 3.5 if Google allows half star ratings. Spent two weeks here while visiting families in Taipei. We booked this hotel primarily due to its cost. At time of booking, it was half the price of Courtyard Taipei in Nangang, a few MRT stops away. Another reason is its proximity to our family and nearby MRT stop. We had spent similar amount of time at Courtyard Taipei in 2024 and enjoyed it very much. We, especially I, took a more apprehensive approach with this stay, thinking how good it would be. It turned out to be a mixed bag. Let's start with the Good: Check-in was a breeze. The front desk and restaurant staff were excellent and attentive. Included breakfast buffet offered sufficient selections, and they change some items daily or every other day during the two weeks. The room we had was large and comfortably stored our 3 24" luggage and 2 carry-ons under the counter/desk. And of course location, location, location. While not as convenient as Nangang in regards to rail and high speed rail access, it's close our family's residence and still has a MRT station right outside the hotel. The new shopping mall is only 2 MRT stops away and offers a great place to grab lunch or dinner. Areas that could use improvements: Breakfast buffet could offer more western-style items. The few on offer sometimes were dry. The towels were frayed and should have been replaced by now. The walls in the room was showing water damage, primarily due to how humid Taipei is and they probably don't run the A/C when the rooms are vacant. The room while large, lacks night stands, coffee table, and there was only 1 chair in the room. It made eating in the room not a pleasant experience even just for the 2 of us. The room also lacks any sort of closet. It only has a draw bar with hangers on it. Drawer space is basically non-existent: there were two and the bottom one had the safe in it. Exterior sound proofing could use some serious work. Area that needs immediate attention: Housekeeping. It's not that they didn't make up the room. It was that they often miss things. On several days they forgot to replenish the coffee and tea bags. Towards the end of the first week, we ran low on shower gel and hand wash soap. I had to ask 3 times over 3 days before both were refilled. We also had to ask twice to have the bed linens changed after a week. To be fair to the housekeeping staff, they are over worked. I think I saw 3, maybe 4, housekeepers for the entire hotel. I don't think that's sufficient, but they have to cut costs somewhere. And that provides the perfect segue to my conclusion: It's good for the price, but there are many signs of cost cutting. Will we stay here again? Possibly, depending on the balance of our credit card points.
The location is good, being right next to the MRT station exit and surrounded by numerous restaurants and a Px Mart supermarket. The room itself was spacious and clean, and the front desk personnel were very polite. The breakfast area has limited space, but the meal choices are very diverse. However, there were significant drawbacks: Terrible Towels: The biggest issue was the bathroom towels, which were visibly dirty, worn-out, and had an unpleasant, sticky texture, suggesting they were extremely old. Poor Soundproofing: External traffic noise was easily audible, making for a less restful stay. Wall Damage: The walls showed clear signs of dampness, with peeling and discolored wallpaper. Verdict: Due to these serious maintenance issues, I would not recommend staying here again.
The staff are very helpful and welcoming. The team is well trained and quite impressive. The rooms are clean and spacious. The location is great, next to the train station and closed to many bus lines. A few minutes walk to groceries, banks, convenience store, food and drinks. I love my view but as you can see it’s a little noisy because of the traffic outside. I don’t mind but if you are someone who needs absolutely quiet space to sleep, you might want to request a room on the other side. The choices of breakfast are limited but good enough to refill your energy for a whole day activities. I stayed for a week and every day as something new. Highly recommended.
