Sizable rooms as we got a suite but a little dated. Centrally located within Taipei city n in the midst of the Japanese district. Hence many shops retailing Japanese goods n gift items. Wide variety of Japanese food outlets are also available - Ramen, Udon, yakitori, sushi, teppanyaki etc etc all reasonably priced n within walking distance of the hotel. Mitsukoshi mall next door provides plenty of shopping n a large food court in its basement. Hotel staff are helpful n bilingual in Mandarin n Nihongo with some English. Buffet breakfast is western. Japanese n Taiwanese combination. Hotel is suitably located opposite a train station as well as MRT underground. For its price, it’s a fair deal and inexpensive 👍

We had a really pleasant stay at Caesar Park Taipei. It’s a pretty decent hotel, and the location is definitely one of its biggest advantages. It’s right across from Taipei Main Station, with direct access to the underground train services, which made getting around really convenient. For us, the hotel was more than enough since we mainly needed a comfortable place to sleep. We were out most of the day anyway. The building looks dated from outside but looks like they made some renovations as the rooms look much newer. The room was spacious and clean, and the bathroom was also clean and well maintained. The only minor hiccup for us was that toothbrushes weren’t provided, but we understand the rationale behind it, so it wasn’t really an issue for us. Overall, we had a comfortable stay and were happy with our choice.
Bit of a disappointing introduction Taiwan for me and my father. We’d read about the Caesar Park from some travel bloggers while planning the trip, and it ended up not being really what we expected. Our room looked surprisingly old, and frankly a bit dirty in the corners. There was a large discolored stain on the center of our ceiling. Parking was also kind of a nightmare to find at this place. I imagine it would be pretty easy to get here on foot, given its proximity to the central terminal, but since my father and I had a rental car, we had to navigate this absolute nightmare network of one-way streets behind the hotel to try and find vacant parking. The checkers lounge, where breakfast is hosted, was also a bit of a disappointment. While it was fairly good quality, it ultimately was essentially your basic boring, continental breakfast. It’s also worth noting that breakfast was not included with our room, so we had to pay to get in, and soft drinks were also not included in the price of admission. At the end of the day, there was nothing egregiously bad about the Caesar Park. But despite the fancy pictures, this hotel is nothing special. You can find much better value for less in Taiwan
This is an old hotel so the rooms are noticeably older, but the common areas are well kept with water dispensers on each floor. The staff are very courteous and efficient. The air conditioning was the worst part for me as it does NOT cool the room down much at all with the temperatures around 26.5°C the entire night on the 20th floor in June. The humidity in the room remained very high and unbearable. A bag of chips left open for 3 hours became stale. Only for this reason, I would not stay here again unless it was during the cooler months. The wifi was reliable. The bathroom was very spacious. The location is amazing and very convenient by being walking distance to Taipei Main Station and numerous local eateries and shops.
We usually stay somewhere else but our usual hotel wasn't available, so we ended up at Caesar Park Taipei. The building is on the older side, but everything else was great. The service was great, the location is convenient, and the direct access to the underground station area was a nice touch especially travelling with older family members. What stood out most though happened after we checked out. I realised I had forgotten an important item and called the hotel a few days later. Reception immediately confirmed they had it kept, from housekeeping to guest services it was a very smooth process and they arranged to send it back to us overseas without any hassle.
