Wonderful tour of Tahiti with waterfalls, grotto lake, black sand beach, and sacred Polynesian temple. Due to landslide road repairs we were unable to circle the whole island as scheduled. Instead, Rony took us to the marvelous Belvedere de Taravao which was a beautiful lookout on Tahiti Iti which was the highlight of the tour.’
Definitely don’t expect guide to be on time. We were told to be ready at 8 AM sharp after a long international flight was a bit difficult so we waited in the hotel lobby until 945 very bad start to the tour. The guide himself was knowledgeable and did get us to our PNG cruise doc safely has some good information but that our and 45 minute delay was terrible and then Arturo was cut short because the tour guide was late. My sister had booked the tour from Los Angeles. She uses Vidor a lot for tours and explain to me that this isn’t usually how it happens. The tour guide was nice enough, but that hour and a halfway was not good for my 86 year-old father, which I had explained.
The tour guide was very friendly, and knowledgeable about the history of Tahiti. Angel provided fabulous insight to the Tahitian's culture and historical traditions. Highly recommended.
My husband and I and another couple had one day in Tahiti after a cruise, and decided to book this tour - it was a fantastic day in touring the whole island. Our guide, Eric, was great! He was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and shared many interesting facts and legends. The van was comfortable and we loved having a private tour. We definitely recommend this one. It was a great last day for us.
Nice way to see all of Tahiti. You get to see a lot of the beauty of the island that you do not see in Faa'a or Papeete. Waterfalls, gardens and black sand beaches.

Angela was indeed an angel with no wings. She is very lovely. Lots of information, trivia and stories that made the 4 hour travel a breeze and fun. The vehicle was a van, comfortable with ac. The tour was packed and we felt was just the perfect duration. Any longer would have ruined it for us and the kids. Lots of suggestions by Angela about local food and places to visit. Definitely a must if you are visiting Tahiti. Again, many thanks to the team for making us experience Tahiti in 4 hours. Māuruuru!
Edouard was a wonderful guide. He knows Tahiti well and shares his knowledge very enthusiastically. He showed us much of the flora with detailed descriptions. We stopped to eat freshly cooked breadfruit and water chestnuts. The tour was so complete that we went an extra hour. We would highly recommended Edouard tour guide.. Natalia was also very easy to work with and flexible with scheduling.
This is a great tour to see the exterior highlights of Tahiti. The tour will take you around the perimeter of the big island and you'll stop to enjoy the beauty of beaches, waterfalls, landmarks and vegetation. Our guide picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel...making the tour extremely convenient. The entire tour takes a solid 5 hours.
Eric was our guide, and he was fantastic! Very knowledgeable and provided information about plants, history, culture, etc. that was very interesting. We learned a lot. Highly recommend this tour and Eric as a guide.
The guide Ray was awesome explaining a lot about Tâhiti history even while driving to keep us well occupied. This was just perfect for us to be able to cover important places in just about 5 hours. They also accommodated to add a lunch stop for one hour for an additional fee which made it more convenient for our family and friends.
Our tour guide, Max, was extremely knowledgeable, excelling in the history and legends of Tahiti and Polynesia. He gives a comprehensive cultural and scenic tour with several stops. One gets a good look at the entire island coast plus views into the interior valleys. His English is excellent, and he will gladly answer all of your questions. Max nicely tailored our private tour to cut down on some walking since my husband walks slowly with a cane. I would highly recommend this tour!
Our guide Max was incredibly amazing! He is extremely knowledgeable about Tahiti and French Polynesia. He showed us many beautiful sights including many waterfalls, gardens, & cultural sights. He pointed out interesting plants and rare birds. We learned about the explorers that came to the island. He took the time to take wonderful photos of us that we will treasure. I can't say enough how much we enjoyed our day with Max, our guide for our half day tour of Tahiti. He met us at the ferry terminal and took us on a wonderful half day tour around the island. His knowledge about the history, geology, geography and current and past events regarding French Polynesia was astounding. The stops we made at waterfalls, botanical gardens and other wonderful vistas were a perfect compliment. When the tour was done he dropped us off at the airport in time for our evening flight. I would highly recommend this tour for any one wanting a comprehensive tour of Tahiti.
This was a great introduction to the Island of Tahiti Nui. Our guide, Angela, was informative and fun and very accommodating. The van seats 8 and we were comfortable with the 6 of us plus the driver. The only reason I give 4 stars is because the seat belt in the center of the middle seat did not work properly. It wasn’t safe and was very uncomfortable. I’m sure this can be fixed. All in all it was a great day with this one exception.
Max was a wealth of information. He arrived on time, helped with our pile of luggage and gave the 6 of us a fascinating circle tour of the island. We arrived in Papeete at 5 am after a overnight flight from LAX and we had signed up for this tour to fill the time from arrival to when we could get onto our cruise ship. We were tired from the flight but Max kept us awake and entertained the whole morning with punchy narratives on Tahiti culture, history and interesting stops. We were comfortable in the clean well maintained van and Max was a safe and considerate driver. We were impressed enough to ask for him back when we return to Papeete later in the week.
We.. the 4 of us( two couples ) spent a day traveling the length and breadth of Tahiti, and enjoyed it thoroughly. Natalia was punctual , cheerful, and had an encyclopedic knowledge of the Islands history and culture. She was very accommodating vis a vis special requests, and was able to pivot on a dime when certain stops were delayed etc. She also has an interesting back story, which she shared with humorous anecdotes. My husband and I took this tour for our honeymoon. The guide, Max, was so wonderful. He was so welcoming and kind. He was also very knowledgeable when showing us around the island of Tahiti. We were able to see a wide array of the great sites. We were able to learn so much about the Tahitian culture and heard many great stories and legends. He was also a wonderful photographer. I recommend taking this tour at the beginning of your stay so you can figure out where you would like to spend more time at. That being said, it was still so wonderful near the end of our trip . 11/10 recommend!

We had a full 4 hours of history and details about Tahiti. It was amazing. We got to really see and hear lots of fun and interesting stories from Max. We really enjoyed our tour and Max. We will book him when we come back.
On our last day in FP we found ourselves with some time before our plane left so we decided to get a tour of Tahiti. We are so glad that we found Max. On our private tour half day tour he was willing to pick us up at the ferry and drop us off at the airport after the tour. While he was willing to tailer the tour to our wants we are glad we decided to let him pick the spots. His knowledge of the culture and history of FP in general and of the places he took us in particular was impressive and presented in an entertaining and engaging manor. We toured the whole island. It was worth every penny to have a guide like Max. I highly recommend letting Max show you a Tahiti you could not experience on your own.
Max and Natalia were both amazing to work with. Natalia did all the planning for us to accommodate us leaving our cruise ship and promptly boarding their cool van that awaited us. Max took us around Tahiti and Tahiti-iti to see the best spots of the island. He was so full of historical and current culture information that when asked if we had questions, we had none as we were still processing the information received. Max was a delight and took so many pictures of my Husband and me that we felt like we may have been on a photo shoot. Love him for this as the kids are used to getting crazy selfies! Amazing tour and amazing travel guides!
Max is fabulous! Even though he's not a Tahitian native, his 12 years living in Papeete have given him lots of excellent information. He took us to beautiful locations and knew intriguing details about each place. One member of our group has mobility issues which Max was extremely careful about. Max sees being a tour guide as just part of his job; he makes sure everyone is safe and taken care of. He found "secret" parking areas so we didn't have to walk far to see various sites. On top of all that, he's a fascinating person with lots of wonderful stories of his own adventures. He made our day really special.

The tour operator Max was the bomb !! He knew everything about Tahiti from the 1700’s to current. Took us to some hidden waterfalls and locals cave swimming. He took over 70 pictures of our group and all were terrific! He went way and above the title of this Adventure. Highly recommend this tour operator. Again Max thank you for everything. Tahiti Welcome Tours with Max as our tour guide was the perfect choice for our 5 hour adventure to see highlights of the island in a limited amount if time. Max was flexible with the tour timing, the tour destinations and even dropping us off at the cruise ship at the end. He was excellent at communicating in advance of the tour and confirmations. The amount of information within Max’s brain was staggering blending history, pop culture and local mythology. He was articulate, professional and a lot of fun not to mention a pretty good photographer! I would not hesitate using this tour company again
Natalia was excellent, knowledgeable and interesting. We saw all the sights of Tahiti Nui and could spend as little or as much time as we wanted at each. Natalia’s price was very reasonable for 5 people and her vehicle was comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our experience.
