Shared Half Day Tahiti Circle Island Tour - Min 2 And Up To 8

Bridget gave us a great tour. Circled the island and she provided native insight while seeing the promised highlights: grotto, water park, waterfall and scenic overlooks. It's was the perfect adventure for ki king off our week long stay in Papeete.

The van was comfortable. Initially we were told we would not go around the full island but then the costal road re-opened and we could do the full island tour. Bridget our guide was friendly and a good driver but her English was very limited (was an English speaking group booking). We were expecting an insight into the sites we visited ie. like the temple but we didn’t get any information or background - we had to make our own way round. We would still recommend the tour if you want to see the whole island - the east coast was beautiful where the mountains meet the coast.

This was more of a taxi ride to four sites than a guide who showed you around. There were two French couples and two English speaking couples of which we were one. The guide carried on a private conversation with the French couples for the entire 4 hrs, occasionally pointing something out in English before returning to his French conversation. The places mentioned on the itinerary were not covered. Instead he just followed his friends around, laughing snd joking with them at every stop. Avoid this tour. It was a pity as it was our last day in French Polynesia. I will be asking Viator for some money back on this one. Don’t expect to get anywhere.

4 hour tour of Tahiti. Tour guide excellent with knowledge. English not as good as her French but still very understandable.

Tour guide was friendly and exceptional for only having 4 months of learning English. I'm sure she will be excellent when her vocabulary and experience expands. There is a lot of riding in the van for this round the island tour but seeing only the east or only the west wouldn't be sufficiebt to get a slovor if Tahiti. Unfortunately rain prevented us getting out at the light house stop. The tour description should be changed to state there are four stops on this tour, not the 6 in the description. Bring your own water and rain gear.

We are pleased that we took this tour. The guide, TEAOTUA DUBOIS, threw in many extra stops for us. His English was excellent and he loves his job. His vehicle was very clean and a new model. EXCELLENT EXCELLENT EXCELLENT!

Awesome way to see a lot if you have little time. Brigitte was the best driver/guide!

Tour was fun but not great - van was crowded for 8 people and we were stuck in the back , driver didn’t have a microphone and count hear him . He wasn’t that knowledgeable about the sights we went to

Tua was a great guide, very knowledgeable. Visited a number of interesting sites. Vehicle was very new and clean.

This tour went completely around the island with a bunch of stops. It was most enjoyable, especially with our guide, Tua.

Enjoyed the half day tour around the island. Guide was great and the views were awesome. A bumpy ride to the top of magic mountain but the view was worth it

Very good guide and tour was nice only reason I took away a star was that when meeting up to start tour at cruise terminal no one there with our name was to oral confusion

Toured the entire island. Tour guide was very knowledgeable. It was a pleasure meeting him and would recommend him

The van fits 8 people but the middle front seat was child sized and an adult was forced to sit there. Also, people sitting in the middle seats in the middle and back rows couldn't see much. No water was provided. The trip had 4 stops to see waterfalls, flowers, trees and 1 short beach stop. It was basically a drive around the island. The driver tried her best but the tour was way overpriced for a "Sunday" drive.

Tour guide’s English was not good so the whole ride was sitting in silence and some broken English and French. Two of the stops listed we did not visit and it seemed like we were rushed everywhere.

Slow paced tour around the island seeing most of the worthy sites including many waterfalls, views and a temple.

Great opportunity to see the island. We had a wonderful guide who provided us with local treats along our journey. Vehicle was very comfortable and a great value tour.

The worst tour ever. The driver was a good driver— careful and made certain everyone was buckled up. He was on time for pickup and he was a nice person. But, he was just a driver, not a guide. He gave no information about the location or sites—he just pointed out churches of certain colors-this is a pink church, etc. We should receive a full refund. A total waste of money and time.

Our driver was excellent. He went out of his way to accommodate my wife and her mobility scooter. He was very polite and told us about Tahiti and its people. Wonderful experience.

A fantastic day with a very professional and well documented guide, and also a very pleaseant person to travel with.

We were not very pleased with the experience. The tour did circle the main island and stopped at the advertised places. But unfortunately the driver/guide was not able to communicate very well and we had expected more details about the places we were travelling through or visited. There were 6 in our group and 4 of the group had expected only a group of 2 -so my advice is to read the advertisement very carefully.

This was such a wonderful experience! My wife and I booked this tour to fill a few hours before we left Tahiti and it ended up being the perfect way to spend the afternoon. Heifara took us around all of Tahiti Nui making stops along the way and explaining key landmarks. We saw so many beautiful places and never felt rushed. It ended up being just the two of us making the journey even more special. Thank you for taking such good care of us and providing an amazing introduction to Tahiti. We will definitely be back!
