Antoinette is very knowledgeable about her island’s history. Love the fruits. Best part is the gardens, the falls and the surfing beaches.

Fantastic tour of the island with lots of stops. We loved the history and passion our guide Antionette provided. The special treats of fruit and bread really brought life to the experience. Ending the tour with a sunset stop on the beach was over the top beautiful (take the afternoon tour if you can.) Highly recommend this tour if you want to experience Tahiti.

We had a great time on the tour with Antoinette . She is so nice and knowledges . She introduced the cultural and ithe information each place we came. I recommended this tuor . Its very organized.

You get to see via car around the entire larger island with a few select short stops. While limited time at the stops they were nice to see.

Antoinette was perfect. She knows the island from inside and provides wonderful explanation of every place and subject that we explore. She demonstrates and explains the life of people on Tahiti from the ancient world to the nowadays. She gives a lot of interesting details. Highly recommended.

Antoinette was our guide and her knowledge and culture of the area makes the point here!! Being honest... Tahiti has not too much to show, but she make the tour joyful, pleasant and worth.

We loved the 5 Hours Tahiti Island Tour - West and East Coast! We only had a day to explore the island, and we felt so lucky to cover so much! Our guide, with a perfect radio voice, gave us so much culture and historical information as we viewed so many great sites. We will remember this tour always -- great job!!!

Fabrice was a very gracious tour guide. He assisted my friend and myself with navigating the uneven terrain, stairs and in/out of van as we both have mobility issues. Tour was very comprehensive and covered all aspects of the island.

We chose this tour as a way of seeing as much of Tahiti Nui as possible as well as learning about its history and culture. Our guide, Vetea, was punctual in meeting us and was friendly and informative. There were 6 of us in a very comfortable and well air-conditioned minibus. We enjoyed the stops and watching the scenery and it was so interesting chatting to Vetea about life here and comparing it to Europe. I would definitely recommend this tour to get a flavour of Tahiti and thank you again, Vetea, for a wonderful experience.

Guide was very knowledgeable. It was nice having a driver/guide to see around the island for the first time.

Got to ride around and see a lot of different parts of Tahiti we would not have seen otherwise as we did not rent a car. I do think it was a little more talking and information than I needed at times. I really enjoy just taking in the sights and the views. Overall, a good tour to tour around the island and see some highlights

It's an interesting time to be driving around Tahiti's circular road and seeing it from different angles.

Our guide was kind and knowledgeable. I would have enjoyed this excursion more if it was closer to three hours rather than 5 1/2 hours. I was a bit bored because some of the stops were not that interesting.

My wife and I had a great time. Nice introductory tour of Tahiti. The waterfalls were especially nice today with good flow. Our guide did a super job of telling us about the island and answering our questions.

Our tour was fantastic! The van was very comfortable and the air-conditioning worked very well. The sites that we saw were amazing and our guide Vetea was very courteous and informative of French Polynesian culture. We saw a good mix of the islands, beauty and historical sites.

We had an amazing day with Vetea. He was fantastic and so knowledgeable. The tour was exactly as advertised. When it started raining he provided umbrellas for us. Let us stop to pick up snacks. He was so welcoming and kind. A great representative of the island.

A great tour around Tahiti, tour guide, Fabrice was so knowledgeable and kind & shared his personal insights as a local man growing up in Tahiti. He picked us up at our hotel even though it wasn’t on their usual pickup list. Especially loved seeing the beautiful flowers in the botanical gardens.

Fabrice is very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly. He spent much more time with us than described. He also dropped us off at the airport, even though he doesn’t have to. He ais also very earnest.

We booked this tour quite late before our visit to Tahiti as we didn't have any other tours booked on this island, we thought this would be a good way to see the island and what it has to offer! The stops listed on the itinerary were all correct, if you are really passionate about learning the history of the island, then this tour is great. However, we found that majority of this tour is spent in the minibus, with little time sight-seeing, and for us we felt it was quite long (this is partly due to how long it takes to drive around the whole island). This is at no detriment to our tour guide who was brilliant, so welcoming and friendly, and very knowledgable; the tour just wasn't for us upon reflection. However, I am pleased we did see the waterfalls and one of the surfing beaches - these were very cool places to see that we wouldn't have done if it weren't for this tour.

Excellent tour that we travelled around the whole islands in 5 hrs and made many great stops. Highly recommend our tour guide, Vetea. He is very informative and friendly. This is small group of 6. Better than the cruise ship tour with Big bus. In fact, I am the only one not from cruise ship.

Excellent 5 hr tour of Papeete nui. Waterfalls, black sand beach, temples, historic venues. Nice tour guide who dealt with pouring rain, and road accidents and still we saw in comfort

Fabrice is an outstanding tour guide! Born and raised on the island, he is knowledgeable on an incredible range of topics, from the island's botany to history/culture. He's also an extremely thoughtful guide, providing umbrellas for shade and water/snacks. Highly recommend.

Pick up on time in comfortable vehicle.. Fabrice our guide was very friendly & knowledgeable. The tour was very interesting with well chosen spots where we stopped which were well explained to us. Also gave good information as we travelled.

This tour delivered what it promised - I wanted one tour that showed both the east & west side of the island and didn’t take up 8 hours. I enjoyed the stops: the 2 waterfalls, the grotto & botanical garden including seeing the eel. But, there was a lot of time in the van, which wasn’t very comfortable, and the stops at the sites were brief. I also was extremely disappointed & bored when, at the ruins site, the tour guide just read to us & pointed to pictures in a book. I thought “You’ve got to be kidding, are we going to have 5 hours of this?” The rest of the stops were better though. Also I felt like she derided me for asking a question not once but two different times! She responded “I already talked about that” but clearly there was confusion or perhaps a language barrier, otherwise I wouldn’t have asked the questions. For someone in a multilingual tourism role to act like that was surprising. I was not surprised though, later in the tour when she asked if anyone had any questions, everyone remained silent (I actually I did have questions but there’s no way I’d ask them after the way she had previously responded! I figured I’d just Google them later). If what you’re looking for is a high level overview and circle island tour, and you go in with realistic expectations, this tour fits the bill. I just hope you get a different tour guide!

This was a great trip to learn about Tahiti - past and present. Our tour guide was Antionette and she was very knowledgeable and friendly. Highly recommend this tour. I liked that we were a small group.

We had a wonderful tour of the island with Antoinette back in July. She is exceptional in every way - her knowledge, joy, and pride in her country is evident in every stop. Her joie de vivre, energy and friendliness made for one of the best tours we have ever experienced. We especially enjoyed our stop at the botanical gardens where her respect for the Tahiti's flora and fauna was on great display. She was very patient with my rusty French and encouraged me to practice more. She switched between English and French with great ease. We highly recommend Eden Tours and if you are lucky enough to get Antoinette, we know you will enjoy every minute!
