Highlight of our trip! Myself and my partner went to Sydney for a weekend get away, this was our fave activity! We saw Sydney in the best light, it was peaceful and so beautiful at sunrise. You do need to have good arm strength and not mind getting damp.

After I booked the tour, the operator reached out to me and asked if I wanted a tandem kayak as there was one left. I replied yes. A day prior to the experience, our guide reached out to remind us of our show time which was 06:15 in the morning as it was a sunrise kayak trip. The booking itself says 05:45, and I reached out to confirm the time. I appreciated the communication. My husband and I woke up early and called an Uber as it was the easiest way to get to the meeting point. Fifteen minutes by car versus almost an hour via public transit. As soon as we got to the park, there were several other guys there to make sure we were at the right spot. We waited twenty minutes for everyone else to show up which turned out to be about fifteen total people or so. If you are wearing shoes or have a backpack, the guide provides a basket where you can place them and locks them up in his vehicle. I would recommend showing up in sandals/flip-flops and have a towel. The guide also provides life vests. The tour was very organized as there are several guys helping with the launch. They hold the kayaks for you to step in. During our paddle, everyone on the team took photos for the participants. There are plenty of photo opportunities, and it was an easy paddle because there wasn’t much wind. If you haven’t paddled before, you can be towed by a team member. I’d say we paddled about a mile before reaching the best area to watch the sunrise. It was a spectacular view which was enhanced by Sydney Harbor’s beauty. We then paddled back to the launch point where we were helped out of the kayaks. You will probably get a little wet here! If the guide used his phone for your photos, he will send them to you. The ferries started running after we got back, and the best way back to the city is by taking the ferry to Circular Quay. The wharf is a five minute walk away from the launch point. I enjoyed how convenient that was. It was very well-planned and gave us a unique experience in Sydney. What a spectacular way to end our visit!

Arriving at the Harbour in the dark and standing in awe as the daylight started seeping through the clouds was simply breathtaking. What made it even more incredible was gliding across the water in a kayak. Loved every second of this experience, thank you!!

Sunrise kayaking was such an amazing experience 🌅 The guides were so kind and made everything feel easy and fun—they even took as many pictures as we wanted, which I loved! The views were absolutely beautiful, and the timing was perfect. Not too long, not too short. Highly recommend if you’re looking for something peaceful but memorable! It is a bit of a work out, but worth it.

Chad and team at Kayaking Sydney lead an amazing session. It was super early and dark, but all the crew were extremely friendly and happy to be up and getting things ready for us. Once we got on the water, they made sure to take enough time for everyone to get in place for incredible photos to take with them. They even shared the photos they had taken on their own phones so we didn’t miss anything. Easy paced, relaxing, and the views were stunning! 10/10 guys - you’re all top notch. Thanks for a great memory of my trip to Sydney!

Loved every second of this. I was supposed to do this on a rainy morning but Chad messaged to see if I'd like to change the day and I'm so glad I did. Chad was excellent from start to finish and his photography skills are amazing. I'll have so many memories and photos to remember the experience by. Okay, the tour itself was really good. Our guides were truly amazing. Chad and his team did an incredible job keeping us safe in the choppy waters. Now the only thing that caught us off guard was the tour was advertised as a “intimate small group” activity. Max no of people - 6. We booked as a group of 6 to have that exact experience. Turn up to the location, there’s 3 other groups of 6 lol. And it was a 24 people party - all together. So false advertising got us. If you’re looking for a small intimate event, this isn’t it.

Wonderful experience to paddle at sunrise in the harbor with views of the Sydney Opera house. Our guide Chad not only took care of us paddling but also took excellent pictures ! It was great to be part of a small group on the water early in the morning.

They were super friendly, incredibly knowledgeable, and made the whole experience fun and easy from start to finish. They shared so many interesting facts along the way and kept the group comfortable and confident the entire time. On top of that, Chad is an amazing photographer, he captured so many great shots for us that we’ll genuinely treasure forever. If you’re thinking about booking this kayak tour, do it! Kayaking at Sydney Harbour was an unforgettable experience. The water was calm, the views were absolutely stunning, and paddling under the Harbour Bridge felt surreal. I got to see the Opera House from a completely different angle, and the whole place looked even more beautiful from the water. The staff were friendly and made everything simple—from safety instructions to helping us get in and out of the kayak. The equipment was clean, stable, and easy to handle, even for beginners.

Such a great experience on this kayak tour! The kayaks were really high quality and surprisingly comfortable which made the whole trip so much more enjoyable. wonderful landscape and good service! There are two coaches taking care of you, making sure the whole group is between them. There is a short learning before getting into the water, good for starters! They are also good at taking photos!

Fabulous trip. We were contacted the night before to ensure timings and meet up which was reassuring. Arrived in the cold and dark of winter but we are English so it was lovely and only our family so turned into a private tour. Met by Fab who was great to lead and took loads of fantastic photos throughout. Paddled under the bridge, past the opera house and round the Goveners House before sitting to watch a glorious sunrise. Then we paddled back enjoying all the views again in bright sunshine. Brilliant tour for peace and a totally different angle of view. Enjoy if you can it’s worth it. 🎉🎉. Thanks Fab 👏👏👏👏
