Sydney Harbour 2 Or 3-course Lunch Cruise (Darling Harbour)

Excellent cruise went for the 3 course, stayed on the boat for 2 circuits (4 hours). Food was delicious, much better than expected, staff were very attentive. Well worth the $115 per person

Had a fabulous day on Captain Cook Cruise for lunch. Weather was perfect and 2 hour cruise around harbour while we ate a delicious lunch and soft music was played in background.

We usually do the long lunch on the harbour in summer time but we had the opportunity to do it in winter as well this year. We absolutely love it. It was a bit disappointing as it wasn't the normal vessel we are used to - Australia 2000. The comfort factor is not as good. Some staff either didn’t understand English very well or were maybe not listening as our drinks order was not as requested. After this got sorted we both enjoyed a beautiful lunch. So very relaxing but i think the route may have changed a bit wasn't quite the same as on other occasions. Overall we did enjoy the experience but if there is a change of vessel we should have the opportunity to reschedule or cancel.

The service from booking the ticket was excellent to obtaining access on boarding. The meal was very pleasant. The issue is they are price gauging for a service you don’t get. Whilst you travel into Circular Quay, past Garden Island that’s it you don’t get to see the expanse of massive mansions which was always a factor of a great harbour cruise. Captain Cook have cut the area at the expense of guests. Other operators provide a full and filling tour of the greatest harbour with the mansions along the harbour. Please check others before booking with Captain Cook

A fantastic way to experience Sydney Harbour. The cruise was very well organized, and the views of the Sydney Opera House, Harbour Bridge, and the city skyline were simply breathtaking. The food was delicious, the service was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere on board was relaxed and enjoyable. It was the perfect combination of sightseeing and a leisurely lunch. A memorable experience and one of the highlights of our Sydney trip. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the city.

This cruise was amazing. The food was first class and the service was faultless. Thank you Queen for taking such good care if us. Don't think that you have to get off as soon as the boat returns or that you have to rush your meal. You can stay and do a few rounds if the tour up until 4.30. We did the 3 course meal with window upgrade and highly recommend

It was a pleasant experience for the 4 of us. The boat was very nice and the service was excellent. The food was OK. I had the eggplant dish and it wasn't to my liking but everyone's tastes are different. If food is NOT a high priority for you then you will like the cruise. The harbor was beautiful and it was a really beautiful day. Don't miss out on taking a habor cruise.

A Birthday present for my darling Wife on her birthday. Weather was forecast to be bad, but no problem on board a boat. Northing was to hard for the crew, both shore and onboard. I booked the three course option with guaranteed window seating. Mindy our waitress was delightful and extremely pleasant, advising us on the menu and drinks. She suggested we could spread our courses over the 4 hour trip which enabled us to enjoy Sydney Harbour even on a miserable day. The food was excellent a Ravioli for my wife and Salmon for myself, followed by one of the best lamb dishes we have had in any great restaurant worldwide. We finished with different chocolate deserts. All this was accompanied by a delightful Broken Wood Pinot Noir. The only disappointing part was having to go back to Circular Quay 3 times & Darling Harbour 3 times. Although Sydney is a busy Harbour due to Ferries & cruise ships, we thought on the final return to Darling Harbour that we may have been able to crise further up the Western side of the bridge, but assumed that this was probably due to Harbour master constraints. Thank you to all the crew and the Captain who has no doubt being doing this for years. He could park this extremely large boat better than most people can park their cars.

staff, food and view makes this trip worth the money and time to enjoy with all ages. window seats are great during wet weather but when the sun or clouds are around, gwet out and see the Harbour!

This is a great cruise and lunch. I booked a window and 2 course lunch. We had a table for 2 on the top inside deck and both of us were on the window. Lunch was served in 2 courses, starter and main. You have a choice among 3. Veg starter and main are available. Food was very well prepared. Water is included, other beverages are extra. Service was prompt and friendly. We had a beautiful day and I would do it all again.

Fabulous cruise of harbour- very good service and food amazing

Great time had by all. Boat was clean, spacious and comfortable. My husband was in a wheelchair and all areas accessible. Staff were really helpful and respectful. Lunch ( appetiser and main ) was high quality and portion size adequate.

Top rate. We do this long lunch cruise every year and it never disappoints. From the moment we board we are looked after. The staff are so friendly, polite, efficient you are so taken care of. The food is absolutely glorious, cooked to perfection with an adequate choice to pick from. Three courses all wonderful. It’s such a great way to spend a few hours. There is the views amazing. Beautiful day on Sydney Harbour. A must for anyone visiting. Well done to all involved. We will definitely be back and can’t wait.

From the word go this experience was perfect. The staff, the food and the view. The staff went out of their way to make sure we had all we needed. I’m so glad we did this lunch cruise there was no disappointment at all. Getting to see all the views like the harbour bridge and the Opera house so close was amazing. When we come back we Will certainly do this again.

That the lunch cruise means you go round the harbour twice . The crew make it clear each side of the boat get to see great views of the Opera House . iAlso only toilets on one deck .

A lovely experience to end our holiday. This tour left from King Street Wharf, Darling Harbour, and so very close to other places of interest. We booked the four-hour tour with a three course lunch. The lunch was generous and delicious, There was a choice of four starters, four main courses and four desserts. Drinks were extra, but water was free and glasses were topped up regularly. We opted for a guaranteed window seat and it was worth paying a little bit extra to get such good views of the familiar and not so familiar sights. There was no commentary, instead live entertainment was provided and special events, eg. Birthdays and anniversaries were celebrated in song. The staff were friendly and helpful The only slight negative was that the boat sailed the same route round the harbour twice.

We’ve had the most amazing lunch and cruise. We were celebrating our mum and dad’s 67th wedding anniversary so we had a big family group. What a way to celebrate! The gorgeous Sydney Harbour and such beautiful food. I’d highly recommend the three course long lunch. The menu had many options to suit everyone and such incredible service. Everyone was so polite and helpful and a special mention to Amina who looked after us all so well. Would highly recommend this as a perfect way to spend a day in Sydney and we look forward to returning.

don't ok a cruise with this company I have tried 3 phone calls to this company they have 0292061111 number and no complaints team and no management above the phone operator. if you buy a red balloon voucher which we did there is no guarantee of where you will be seated and if you want a window seat which is what's advertised on the red balloon cpc212 you don't get that table you have to up grade 17 dollars per person not only that but the voucher or ticket doesn't guarantee a table near a window its a seat anywhere on the boat and you will be charged to upgrade. if you google for any phone number other then 02 920 6111 there is non and the people that man the phones can only do booking all other communication is via email. i would recommend no one to board this vessel or any other in the fleet because if there is a issue you have no one to contact

Was ok,food was average,we been given a table too close to a door that could not close properly,all our serviettes etc where flying in the air.music was good.service was very good.

Lovely cruise but disappointed that there wasn’t a commentary unless you downloaded an app. Sometimes you just want to sit back and relax without fiddling with your phone.

A bit of a rip off, our 90 minute cruise spent 20 minutes talking on more passengers at circular quay

This was a Christmas present from our children and I cannot praise highly enough. We did the long cruise which took around four hours. The food was excellent, as good as you’d get anywhere and the staff were friendly and efficient. As it is nearly Christmas there were crackers on the tables and Christmas trees which was a nice touch. If you would like a different view of Sydney Harbour this definitely fits the bill.

We boarded our vessel at darling harbour, the meal was lovely, the views Spectacular (even though it was rainy) . We paid extra for a guaranteed window seat, yet there was only about 4’tables occupied on the whole floor. The thing that disappointed us was being a sightseeing cruise we had expected some commentary of tourist sights as we went along

Such a relaxing day on the water gently cruising the habiur while fine dining and a bottle of soarkling to celebrate our 37th anniversary. Recommend the long lunch to really take it in and the staff were amazing.

This cruise was such a pleasurable experience. We boarded at Darling Harbor and took the lunch cruise to downtown Sydney. The staff was incredibly accommodating and friendly and the food was delicious. There literally wasn’t anything we didn’t like! Everything about this excursion was perfect….even the weather!

My wife and I had lunch at The Jackson, which is a very nice boat with a lovely dining area and outside seating. Our host was Pim, who was extremely welcoming and friendly. The food was delicious, there was a great selection of drinks too, and a really nice atmosphere all round.

The food was good although no drink is included besides water. Too many people packed into the dining room. The guy at the table next to us had to keep standing up for the waitstaff to go under the floor to get booster seats. Chairs backed up to others that allowed you to barely be seated. We had the 3 hour lunch but were not told how things worked, dropping people off, letting people on, when do we get off??? We arrived back where we started, do we get off now?? Although it was at the 1.5 hour mark.

This was a very enjoyable cruise. The food was wonderful, very friendly, efficient staff. The cruise ship was very clean.

We had a lovely time on the lunch cruise yesterday. The food was excellent - much better than we were expecting, which is always good! Harry L (our server) helped us have such a great experience - he was so polite, really friendly but very professional - a lovely guy and a real asset to Captain Cook Cruises. Music was good too. The boat is spotlessly clean and spacious. Highly recommend this cruise and will definitely go again.

Boat was great, food was great, service was great, the only thing disappointing was the 3 hour cruise is just the 1.5 hour cruise twice. Thought we’d see more with the 3 hour cruise but you don’t.

Great cruise, wonderful gourmet meal and exciting g Harbour views. Would suggest the two hour cruise as the boat runs a circular route through the Harbour that repeats about every hour.

The 3 hour cruise consists of two identical 1.5 hour rotations/routes. We saw the same scenery twice. Great views of the Sydney Opera House and city landscape. 3 course meal did not include a coffee or tea. A bit of informative commentary about the points of interest or locations would have made for a more memorable experience.
