We enjoyed seeing the different areas travelled to and the photo opportunities of Opera House and Bridge. Guide was very personable although we did have to pay attention as had strong accent.
In fairness, our driver/tourguide was very nice and helpful. It was just hard to understand since English is not his primary language. It was all good though, we got the message and was able to see the beautiful city of Sydney
Martin was nice and funny but sometimes we cannot understand what he was saying. Also, it woyld be better if he says the exact time he wants us back on the bus instead of saying e.g. back in 40 min. We would have preferred a longer time at Bondi for our break. It should be 1 hour.
Good for an initial tour of Sydney and the surrounding area. Our driver/guide just couldn’t stop talking!
We enjoyed our tour of Sydney. The fish and chips at Bondi was great and pistachio coffee was excellent. We learned most of the museums were free to the public. We highly recommend this tour!
Really lovely way to see lots of the suburbs outside the centre of Sydney. Driver was informative and gave good recommendations at the various stops . Lots of photo opportunities and a good way to see things is not able to do a walking tour
Informative tour of Sydney with well timed selective stops. Enjoyed stopping at Bondi beach especially
Worth a tour with the driver cum guide Martin constantly regaling us with his insights on the sights in his own funny way...we passed The Grumpy Baker and he said it was because he made Sourdough !
While the driver was very personable and energetic, his accent was so thick I missed half of the commentary.
Overall the itinerary was good and our tour guide/driver Martin was well informed, approachable and funny however although we were asked to come early to the meeting point at the start of our trip he ended up coming 10 minutes late which caused significant confusion between the tourists. At the end of our tour he was very helpful with providing an insight into other activities we could do in the area.
The guide never had our booking on his list so keep backup booking number. Even though our guide was English speaking, I really couldn’t understand what he said sorry.
Martin was a knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. He made it a fun tour! The places that were included in the itinerary were fantastic, as we wouldn't have seen them on our own in that short amount of time. We love that there were stops for drinks, a lunch, photo opportunities and restroom breaks. We highly recommend it!
The guide was knowledgeable and had a good sense of humor....unfortunately he was at times hard to understand.. Also just a note that there are better views if you sit on the left side of the bus (the side with the door).
Very concise overview of the different neighborhoods of Sydney. Just the right length with only a few stops for pictures, etc. Flexibility to leave tour early if you want to stay longer at Bondi.
The tour guild is amazing and very helpful and patient. You will have a fun good time. When in Bondi have the fish and chips yummy.
This is a wonderful tour!! I highly recommend doing the tour on your 1st or 2nd day. The tour guide provided wonderful tips on additional places to visit and ways to save money via public transportation.
The driver was late in picking up the group that had gathered in the park by a fountain for the tour. While waiting, we were told by guides for other tours that this guide is always late. He invited us to walk a long distance to board a bus. The tour consisted of the guide dropping us off at four locations for lengthy photo opportunities. The scenery was wonderful. The tour and information about the city was entirely lacking. Avoid this tour and take a real one!!!!
This was a perfect tour to explore Sydney historical places and picturesque landscapes. Pick up and drop off was well arranged. Clear instructions. Martin was an excellent tour guide with an amazing sense of humour.
A great experience at a good price. Lets you see sites you would normally not go to. A good driver with great knowledge
A great value tour, to see so much of Sydney easily with great stops for photos opps . I was on a morning tour as the afternoon was already full and it turned out much better as only a 1/4 full bus. A few stops where you can wander around and 45 mins at Bondi Beach. Martin our driver and guide was fantastic, so friendly and helpful. A bargain at $49.50.
Easy collection at the water fall. Martin is a friendly funny tour guide. Bondi Beach was our highlight
Overall, the Buss tour was interesting. It’s mainly for locations outside of the downtown area. It was good because it went to places we probably wouldn’t have visited otherwise. Our bus driver/tour guide had a very heavy Italian accent. It was hard to understand some of the things he said.
This tour packed a lot of sights into a morning. We enjoyed our guide Martin's commentary and sense of humor!
I had the pleasure of joining a Sydney sightseeing tour on 30/6 with Sydney's Wonders Tours and it was truly an outstanding experience. What made the tour especially memorable was our guide, Martin who was absolutely exceptional. From the very beginning, the guide was warm, engaging, and incredibly knowledgeable. Martin brought each location to life with fascinating stories, historical insights, and local tips that you simply wouldn’t get on your own. His enthusiasm for Sydney was contagious, making the entire journey both informative and enjoyable. The pacing of the tour was perfect, allowing enough time to appreciate each landmark without feeling rushed. Whether it was iconic spots like the Sydney Opera House and Harbour Bridge or lesser-known hidden gems, everything was covered thoughtfully. What stood out the most was the guide’s ability to connect with everyone in the group, ensuring that each person felt included and comfortable. Martin were also more than happy to answer questions and go the extra mile to make the experience special. Overall, I highly recommend this sightseeing tour to anyone visiting Sydney. With such an exceptional guide, it’s not just a tour—it’s an unforgettable experience.
It was a good experience covered a lot of lookout points in a short span of time, can make this into a full day tour and give more timing at each spot
We had a nice tour, just right time for each place
The places we got to visit were great! Unfortunately, the guide was very, very difficult to understand. Imagine Borat as your tour guide except with a heavier accent. I would say that I understood maybe 25% of what he said.
Great way to learn about the city good driver very informative Stops gave plenty of time for photo opportunities
This trip is a good way to see a lot of sights in a short time. The bus was totally full and a bit cramped. The driver had a strange way of seating people in some specific order. We were at the front of the queue but weren't allowed to board until about half way through. It this is standard practice, it would be good to allow customers to disclose information as part of the booking process (e.g. difficulty walking, extra tall). We got off the bus at multiple stops and with 60 people on board, this took quite a lot of time. I think the tour would operate better with smaller groups to minimise this. Yes the driver has a strong accent. If English is not your first language, you may struggle to understand him. As New Zealanders, we did ok, but you did have to concentrate. I think it was good value for the amount that we saw, but I would likely book a different trip in future.
Our tour guide was super professional, really knowledgeable, and had a great sense of humor. He pointed things out along the way and made sure we had time to stop and take photos at all the iconic spots, which I loved. Definitely recommend this tour!
Instructions on where to meet need to be more specific. Archibald fountain does not have a name and nobody knew what that fountain was called. The tour guide was late which threw us into a panic. Tour was lovely, driver very good, kind, considerate and views were outstanding BUT we could hardly understand one word of the commentary!!
The tour waqs nice, but we could not understand Martin, our driver, who had a thick, Russian accent. Most of what he said went into a black hole.
It was our final day in Sydney, so wanted a nice easy way to get around and see the sites. This is definitely the way to do it! Got to see lots of the main attractions and had a tour guide to explain it all!
Martin was nice, but we couldn’t understand him. Russian accent? Otherwise, fine.
It was a much bigger tour in way of numbers than I imagined. Our guide was firm but funny which is good with travellers. His English was a bit hard at times to understand. The tour was great though
Breath taking views of Blue Mountains. Our guide, Phil, was fantastic! He was very knowledgeable and he represented Australia nicely.
Great way to see the city and surrounding areas in a quick 4 hour tour. Included a stop at Bonbi for 45 mins, which was excellent for a quick paddle and pictures. Very well structured and informative. Recommended
Tour driver was very good however he was sometimes difficult to understand as English is not his first language although he was very knowledgeable with a sense of humour.
What a wonderful experience! Easy to find the meeting place... iur guide was organized and FULL of information and planned the trip well to allow us the time to walk and take photos. He was funny and accommodating and respectful
Tour was informative but driver kept threatening to leave if we were late back to the bus. He also was a little late picking us up that caused some discomfort and didn’t seem as organized.
Nice, clean and comfortable bus. Informative and friendly driver/guide. Adequate time to visit and explore attractions. Great experience.
It was a good panoramic tour of the city. Had some difficulty understanding the tour guide due to his accent. Although he did his best in explaining things as we travelled along.
An easy, affordable and quick introduction to Sydney. Our driver was caring and knowledgeable, we highly recommend it
A great way to see the city . The driver was very helpful and knowledgeable. Would highly recommend.
We met the driver and tour guide Martin at the fountain. He was wearing a bright yellow vest, which made him very visible. The tour was informative and Martin had a great sense of humor! Would book this again.
This was an amazing trip. Well worth the money. Brilliant guide and so many nice stop offs and places to visit. Brilliant!
Excellent guide he very informative and gave us clear and concise instructions on what to do when we left the bus he gave excellent commentary on the sites
Bus tour of highlights of Sydney and surrounding suburbs. We started and ended at Hyde Park, the oldest public parkland in Australia. Martin the tour guide did a very good job taking us around to numerous neighborhoods and telling us about everywhere we passed, even when forced into a detour. He had several anecdotes and also gave tons of advice on getting around on our own, like explaining the weekend fares. He was very good at herding his crowd back to the bus after each stop so we kept on schedule. Unfortunately even though we had great seats at the front of the bus, the rain streaked windows made photography a challenge. We had fun making comparisons to San Diego neighborhoods and beaches.
Very nice overview of Sydney in a short period of time. Let's you know where you might like to go back to. Driver gave alot of good information about each area. Where to eat and buy things.
