A bit of walking involved, but getting to a good spot to start the lesson was worth it. Make sure you are rested or are really conditioned to work through the jetlag. The session was great & informative, the instructor I got was super patient & really motivating; thanks to him I was able to kneel and really balance myself all the way back to shore without flipping over. Next time I'll make sure to go fully rested & conditioned; Great booking 55 🏄‍♂️

It was a fabulous experience with the Let’s Surfing team esp Dan who was extremely patient with non surfers like us. We enjoyed every moment. And if you’re a non swimmer like me , you don’t need to worry!

You spend about 40 minutes on land learning how to surf and practicing standing up on the board. Then you have about an hour and a half in the water. There surf was a little rough and there were lots of other people in the water that we had to navigate around. I like that we had 2 guides (1 was in training) so we had more 1-on-1 time to learn/practice.

Truly gives one a feel of the Australian Bondi surfing experience. Very professional and warm welcome from the instructors. They made everyone feel included motivated and were keen to help us be our best throughout the experience. Huge thanks and shout out to Luke and Amy ! Much appreciated :)

Highly recommended! Bondi was awesome and the instructors were super chill (especially Jesse who was amazing!). A great mix of instruction and water time. We all had a blast. Highlight of our trip in Sydney!

Great experience. Each class is small - 5 people. I had never surfed before and my coach, Jesse, was able to tailor his feedback and adjust on the fly what I needed to do. For those who have never surfed before like me, expect to learn a lot and get in a lot of reps in a short period of time.

Good. Could be better but as it was my first experience I was happy and it was enjoyable. To be honest 2hours is not enough for fully surfing but it is good to lay on the surfing board and enjoy the waves. I think if you want to be able to surf at least you need 4 sessions and do not rush to learn every thing in one single session. Plus the fact that guys working there as tutors are really helpful and they help my wife to enjoy and I really appreciate that they helped her.

It was my first time surfing and I loved it. It was windy that morning but the instructor max was very helpful and patient. I highly recommend . I wish they would take pictures of us.

Don't worry about what to wear, they provide a wet suit and it takes all the worry out of losing swimsuit pieces. Pictures would have been nice.

Great surf school! Everything is well and efficiently organized. It was a bit crowded when I took my lessons, but Tom is a fantastic instructor and gave all the necessary knowledge to enjoy the waves and learn something new. I had a great experience overall and would definitely recommend the school.

So much fun for any groups and the instructor was so knowledgeable - perfect for beginners and up, we had never surfed before and had so much fun and learnt loads !

Our instructor was great - I can’t remember his name though (sorry!) the 21 year old chap who had been skiing since he was 3. He was really patient and the two hours literally felt like five minutes. Highly recommended

Great experience- our instructors were patient and helpful, giving us good feedback to improve. The lesson was well structured and helped us build confidence before moving on. Took safety seriously and made sure we all knew how to keep from getting hurt. Would recommend!!

This was the most fun experience we had in Bondi. The group size was small and intimate and Aaron our instructor was truly outstanding - both personable and knowledgeable! The lesson was perfect for beginners and early-learners and left us feeling confident and tired from the constant exercise. I could not recommend this experience enough

This was so much fun! Our surf instructors, Luke and Bert, were amazing. They provided background information, thorough explanations, and were present and involved for the entire lesson, making everyone feel very safe and comfortable in the water, regardless of previous experience. We really enjoyed this experience and were able to surf a ton of waves of our own. I’d highly recommend this experience!

This was an amazing experience. Never surfed before and after 2 hours, I wish I would have tried this years ago. Leo and Jonathan are great instructors and helped every step of the way. They taught the fundamentals on the sand and helped you easily understand each step in the water - foot position, how to use the board, mechanics, etc. After about 30 minutes, I was able to stand on the board with consistency and catch some waves. I even booked a 2nd session the next day and was able to see so much progress in such a short period of time thanks to Leo and Jonathan. This was a great way to meet and socialize with other travelers if you’re visiting Sydney as a solo. Will definitely book another session with them again when I return to Sydney. Highly recommend this experience to anyone visiting Bondi Beach!

Lots of fun! The waves were small but it was good for learning! Luke was very helpful and gave us great tips! Even for such a busy beach we had plenty of space in the water so we weren’t crashing into anyone else.

What an awesome experience as a couple of slightly older travellers we were treated the same as everyone else and just had the best time. Brontë our instructor was knowledgeable experienced confident and taught us with patience. We both managed to stand and ride a wave … life experience ticked.

Amazing! My first time surfing aged 39 (it was my birthday) and this was incredible. Many thanks to Che, Jay and Jessie for helping me go from zero to standing up and riding a baby wave to shore. My kids think I am the coolest dad ever now. This lesson has started a new passion for me!

Bondi Beach is incredible. Surfing is apparently a blast. Instructors meet you where you are (thanks Luke!). Immaculate vibes. They even offer photos if you request them 24 hours in advance! Sunscreen, wet suits, surf board, and instructor all provided! 10/10 would recommend. One caveat - the ocean at Bondi is not gentle. If you don’t know how to swim, please for the love of god, don’t take surfing lessons. You are expected to be relatively comfortable in water.

Lets go surfing is the BEST! I am from california and have surfed a few dozen times but have never successfully gotten past the "beginner" stage. Enter Lets Go Surfing's Hot Winter Deal Lesson Pack. All the instructors I had were good and left me with tips to improve my surf skills. However, Tom at the Bondi location was a LEGEND and helped me catch my first green wave all by myself! WOULD RECOMMEND

This was a great experience and worth the money. The instructors were good and two were in the water the entire time. I would caution those who are young or poor swimmers though. My husband and 14 year old son had to fight some pretty tough surf. They came out exhausted and sore and both are very confident in the water. They still had a great time and would recommend it to others!

The instructor was amazing, he made me feel comfortable and safe. This was my first surf lesson and it made me want to do it again!

Had a great surfing lesson - thanks to the instructor, I even managed to stand on the board on my first go! We took time to learn about the beach’s dynamics, including rips, stretch and practise on land before getting into the water. The day we surfed it was tipping it down with rain, but that didn’t matter! I thought I’d mention it so you’ll know it’ll happen no matter the weather. Had a good 1hr in the water I’d say. A great experience.

Let’s Go Surfing made sure we caught the best waves by advising us on the perfect day and time. Even in winter with less-than-ideal weather, we had a blast! Warm, comfy wetsuits, expert coaching, and safety always first. Evan was fantastic - patient, kind, and great with both kids and adults. Big thanks to Lars for organising it all. We’ll be back!

The instructors are really nice, the beach is amazing, even in winter the water isn't colder than about 17-18 Cº and it's not to hard getting up on the board and feeling like your riding the wave.

What a great time!! My wife, my (14 y/o) son and I LOVED this outing!! Freddy was great!! No reason to be afraid of sharks or anything else! We could stand everywhere we were surfing! Don’t miss out on one of the best places to learn to surf!!!

So…..we were going as an international student group who had never been to Australia before. Our group size kept changing & our tour bus time kept changing. Very hard to plan a set time but this was on their bucket list of most favorite thing they wanted to do … I just have to say Gabriella was AMAZING - she put up with my initial booking at 3:00 only to move it b/c we realized it’ll be winter in Australia (when it’s summer for us) so sunset is 5:00 …so we moved it to 12 & then I got our final itinerary from the bus and we were only at the beach 1-4 - I wanted to cry there were no time slots available …I emailed Gabriella & she put us in for 1:30-3:30 …it was PERFECT & we were THRILLED. Our group had SO much fun with EVAN their instructor - the day was a bit chilly but the water was warm & they had a blast …LARS was most helpful checking us in. HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND

They actually teach you hour to surf! They give you helpful tips. They’re very encouraging. It’s very good.

Hands-down the highlight of Sydney! This 2-hour crash course was worth every penny – I ACTUALLY STOOD UP!!! Our instructor was a human cheerleading squad, yelling "One more try!" louder than me after each wipeout. Loved the icebreaker session that transformed strangers into wave-chasing allies in 5 mins. Bondi served us Photoshop-blue skies and beginner-friendly waves that curved just right... The only regret? ZERO photos of this epic moment! (Petition to add photographer to the team). Worth flying back to Sydney for – already planning my revenge on bigger waves!

I think Brad is an excellent surfing instructor, he is very friendly and patient. I love that he asked about prior experience with surfing and similar sports. I think he was very encouraging and he wants people to be safe first of all, keep other people safe as well and for them to have fun and potentially fall in love with this incredible and fun sport. I found everything pretty well-organised and the pace is relaxed, which I absolutely love. I think I had an amazing time and I would highly recommend.

Fantastic surf lesson with Max, started off with the basics and then slowly made our way up to the point where we were independently catching waves! Would highly recommend! Great way to see the beach if you’re note really one for sunbathing too
