We had an amazing experience with Sydney Snorkeling Club! We joined two snorkeling trips, one at Clovelly Beach and another at Little Bay Beach, and both were absolutely incredible. The atmosphere is super friendly and relaxed, perfect for both beginners and experienced snorkelers. The underwater life was beautiful, and everything was well organized. And Carlos… Carlos is simply the best! He made the trips fun, safe, and unforgettable with his energy and passion for the ocean. If you’re in Sydney and want an awesome snorkeling experience, this is an absolute must. Highly recommended! 🌊🤿

Tour was a tonne of fun, keen to see our photos. Water was beautiful despite the weather. Highly recommend wetsuit purchase that they have available. Equipment instructions were super clear. Only thing I’d change is maybe a clearer meet up spot via a sign or something.

My snorkeling coach Mia is awesome. She is very patient and ensures everyone had a good experience. I have never done snorkeling before and when I first got into the water I was very nervous. I told Mia that I could stay near the shore and she could take the other participants further. But she didn't give up on me, spent a few minutes to do beginner steps and bring me with the other participants. She also took care of everyone in the group, checking if we are feeling okay and if there are particular things we want to do/see. I am thankful for this experience that Mia created for us and I am sure she will take care of you and let you experience the fun and beauty of snorkeling.

If you get boat sick you might feel sick towards the end. And maybe vomit The lady was really friendly. If you struggle to swim I wouldn’t recommend

So glad I got a chance to get in the water. Saw a lot of interesting fish and kelp. Reminded me of the Catalina area. Pace was good and wetsuit kept me super comfortable. Deena was really nice and a great guide.

Wonderful experience! Clovelly waters looked a bit rough so our guide brought us to Gordon’s Bay. We saw EVERYTHING! Our guide Dina was amazing, she knew where to look and pointed out fish I never would have saw if I was snorkeling on my own. Highly recommend Sydney Snorkeling.

The people were excellent, the tour was a waste. Better sites need to be chosen. The site was a small bricked in inlet that was a popular swimming area. snorkling was done amoung a bunch of children swimming. Very few fish lots of trash, felt like i should have had a garbage bag with me to assust in cleaning up nature. Did find the "one" big fish named Gus who is acustomed to all the swimmers. Found a couple of stingrays and a variety of smaller fish while avoiding children swiming around in their popular swim spot. This was definitly not a nature snorkle. I am positive a million better spots can be found. Loved the tour person, it was sad she didnt have an appropriare venue, her talent is wasted.

The guide Dina, was outstanding! She was well informed, helpful, friendly, organized, and positive. Five stars for her and I appreciate her greatly. The snorkeling itself was good but not "Great Barrier Reef" great. Still, for something this close to Sydney, it was worth the trip and I was satisfied with the experience overall. Communication from the company itself was not excellent. The meeting location was unclear at first, leading to some confusion and stress about being left behind. Also, I'm guessing I missed the "fine print" but I was a bit blindsided by the wetsuit charge at the end of the trip. Under the "not included" section, it should clearly state "wetsuit (available at additional cost). In other words, this additional cost should be made much more clear. Setting that aside, it was a worthy trip and I'm glad I went. Those in charge of the Viator page should work on the wording of the information to avoid misunderstandings.

We enjoyed our tour very much. It was great to see Sydney's underwater life so close - we even got to see a shark! Our guide was very friendly. She cared so much for us to feel comfortable and regularly checked on our well-being. We totally recommend the tour. We had the the opportunity to rent wetsuits. It was definitely the right choice.

Dina was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable and she was more than happy to take pictures and videos for you! She made sure everyone got the chance to see everything including a shark, jelly fish and sting rays! I can’t wait to see the photos.

It was amazing. We booked this initially for the school holidays for my 11yo and as a birthday experience. Unfortunately the weather meant it was originally cancelled but they were so helpful getting us rebooked for a different date. It was a lot of fun and we saw so many things. Dana was great at explaining what to do to both the adults and the kids in our group. I highly recommend this.

I had a great morning! I wasn’t super confident in the water as I hadn’t snorkelled before but I was made to feel secure and confident in the water. We also had go pro footage shared with us after of all the cool fish we saw that morning, including a ray and a blue groper!

It was a really cool experience. Dina was a great host - very knowledgeable about the marine life, very welcoming, and very friendly. We did see lots of wildlife and different types of fish, and that was awesome 👍

The location was great. The weather and water was clear and the guide was very helpful especially for a couple 1st Heimir’s learning how to snorkel so great for all skill levels.

Me and my 9 year old had a wonderful private snorkelling morning with Carlos. He was so friendly and really helped my daughter to feel confident in the water. We went so much further than we ever would have on our own and saw loads of stingrays and a variety of different fish. Even just snorkelling around the rocks and seeing the sun light shining through the water was magical. Would highly recommend.

Isaac was great. Very attentive checking if everyone was comfortable with their set ups and making sure everyone was having a good time. Spotted a wobbygong shark for us and gave us a great all round look at all the areas of interest in Clovelly Beach.

One of the best things I did in Sydney; Isaac is an amazing guide if you get him. The whole team is super knowledgeable, makes it fun, and keeps everyone engaged. I did it solo but the whole group dynamic was seamless thanks to the team’s good sense of fun and knowledge about the wildlife.

I was traveling through while on holidays. Came across these guys when looking at doing a snorkelling tour, they were so helpful. I booked and the weather turned and got a text instead my. The communication was fantastic, they had a beautiful backup spot to go. I couldn’t give a higher rating to the guide/ company, the way they handled the whole experience for me was fantastic. This is my first time snorkelling and enjoyed absolutely every moment. I highly recommend giving these guys ago if you are looking at a solo or family guided tour. They are a fantastic local business that really knows their stuff.

From the booking of this adventure to the end was amazingly well run and expertly handled. The communication from Pipa and Jake to the way things were run on the day was out of this world. On the day we had Isaac and Dina assist us. They were professional and absolutely knowledgeable. I battle with my hip but once submerged I'm ok and Isaac was patient and super helpful with me. He shared his knowledge with us and remembered my name, which I appreciated. Dina helped a novice swimmer and her patience doing this was super professional. If you don't book this you will miss out! Book it!

the guide, Pipa, was awesome, but I would not choose this place to snorkel. There were a lot of kids and teenagers and very few fish. The seaweed was interesting. The water was too cold to comfortably swim in, and I found the wetsuit very difficult to use. The guide was great, but I didn’t think the trip was worth the money to swim in a small cold bay, full of kids and very few fish

Lovely people, great location, saw a giant sting ray! Definitely get the wetsuit, you won’t regret it. I have poor circulation so my fingers went numb, otherwise I would’ve stayed for the full hour and seen a shark…

I’ve always wanted to snorkel in Australia so I made a solo trip to do it at Clovelly Beach. At the last minute I decided I wanted a wetsuit which my guide Sophie was able to do even at the last minute. It made my wxperience much more enjoyable since the water was cold. We saw tons of fish & sea grasses in a small group. Sophie took photos of us underwater, showed us the local fish “Gus” who was a giant blue fish that didn’t care we were there at all. It was a great experience thank you again Sophie!
