Covered many sites that could not have done on our own in the time we had in Sydney. Joe, Our driver, picked us up from our hotel however, the return trip only went to a choice of 2 locations as per the bus line. You had to make your way back on your own. Joe was cautious and concerned about us. He also reminded everyone to wear their seatbelts. Mia was the tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and concerned. Made sure she led the group and then gave us free time to complete what we wanted to see. She gained everyone’s respect; no-one was late for the bus.

Itinerary
Our first stop is Sydney Zoo, where you’ll enjoy a close- up encounter with Australia’s most iconic native wildlife. Upon arrival, your guide will lead a short walking tour through the Australiana precinct, introducing you to kangaroos, wallabies, koalas, emus, wombats and more. You’ll receive a complimentary digital photo with a koala - a memorable highlight for many guests. Following the guided portion, enjoy 30 minutes of free time to explore the zoo at your own pace before we continue our journey to the Blue Mountains.
Time of travelling for 1.5 hours west of Sydney to the UNESCO-listed Blue Mountains, a region of dramatic sandstone cliffs, cascading waterfalls and lush forested valleys. Long adored by locals and visitors alike, this breathtaking landscape offers sweeping panoramic views across misty blue ridges and expansive wilderness. Experience nature on a grand scale as you take in the timeless beauty and serenity of this remarkable World Heritage destination.
Our lunch stop is at the picturesque village of Leura, where you’ll enjoy free time to purchase your own meal and explore at your leisure. Wander charming boutiques, browse local crafts and delicacies, or simply relax in one of the cosy cafés that make Leura a favourite Blue Mountains destination.
Visit Gordon Falls Lookout to experience cascading waterfalls, rainforest views, and fresh mountain air.
Take in the sweeping panoramic views from Echo Point, one of the Blue Mountains’ most iconic lookouts. From here, you can marvel at the legendary Three Sisters rock formation, set dramatically above the vast Jamison Valley—an unforgettable sight and a highlight of any visit to this spectacular region.
The afternoon is dedicated to exploring Scenic World, one of the Blue Mountains’ most popular attractions, where you can enjoy three unique transport experiences showcasing the spectacular scenery of Katoomba and the Three Sisters. Begin by riding the world’s steepest train, the Scenic Railway, descending to the valley floor before ascending on the Scenic Cableway, taking in impressive views from the base to the top of the Jamison Valley. Conclude with the Scenic Skyway, a cable car suspended 270 metres above the valley, offering breathtaking panoramas as you glide across Katoomba Falls. The Scenic World three- attraction pass is included in the tour price and covers the Scenic Skyway, Scenic Railway and Scenic Cableway.
Stop at Cahill’s Lookout for panoramic views over the Megalong Valley. This peaceful lookout offers expansive scenery and excellent photo opportunities. (Approx. 15–20 minutes)

We had a fantastic day with Brighton Tours visiting the Blue Mountains and Sydney Zoo! Everything was well organised, and the whole experience was enjoyable from start to finish. A big thank you to Joe, our driver, for getting us around safely and comfortably, and to Mia, our tour guide, for being so friendly, knowledgeable and helpful throughout the day. They both made the experience even more enjoyable. The scenery at the Blue Mountains was absolutely beautiful, and visiting Sydney Zoo was a great experience too. Highly recommend Brighton Tours to anyone looking for a fun, well-organised day trip. Thank you, Joe and Mia, for making our day so memorable!
Do all 3 rides! amazing views you will not get anywhere else. Seeing kangaroos and Koalas up close. Try something different at Cafe Leura, you will not be disappointed. Our guide Tom was very informative and knowledgeable about the areas. He went above the expected! 5⭐️
Great stops along the way, very comfortable and clean bus and the tour guide Tom was the best. Great stories, history, places to explore and eat. Really knew his stuff.
Driver TomTom was very good and aided a member of our party who was afraid of heights by making her feel special as she did not take the gondola
Wilson and Max are excellent hosts!

We loved this tour! Unfortunately it was very cloudy when we got into the mountains, but our guide Alfie did such a great job showing us everything he could so we could maximize the experience. Alfie was super knowledgeable and fun! Highly recommend.
The Blue Mountains are amazing. This is a must do trip. Our guide Tom was amazing. Knowledgeable and entertaining.Highly recommend.
We had a great time. Our guide, Yan, was on time and very courteous and happy throughout the day. The times at each stop were well judged and we were genuinely impressed by Sydney Zoo and the Koala experience. Also, we were astonished when kangaroos and wallabies hopped across the path to get from one "enclosure" to another. The Blue mountains were extremely blue and much bigger than I had realised. Well worth the tour cost, especially when considering that we got 2 pictures of us with a koala!
Very first experience that was excellent
A very pleasant visit with Eva, with good guidance and clear instructions l
A worth trip of blue mountain with Eva, with good guidance and clear instructions.
Great trip. One hour at Sidney Zoo including a picture with a koala. Blue Mountain scenery is amazing. Highly recommend. The bus driver/guide Gordon did a good job.
Loved everything about this tour!
The guide is very passionate and very informational.
Eva is good kind and friendly, she is patient with us and provide a lot of help. But the food were not good, pasta and bugers were bad
We thoroughly enjoyed our trip with Brighton bus tour and Young, the driver and tour guide. It was comfortable and interesting. The sights were all worth seeing. What a great day.
We booked very last minute and had good communication even with such a short window. We easily found the tour start at Central Station. We chose to wear a mask while in the bus in order to protect us from picking up any bugs for the remainder of our holiday. Our tour was on Sunday (easier traffic back to Sydney at the end) during school holidays, so things were crowded and hurried at Scenic World to stay on time. Gordon and Frank were great guides, making sure everyone was coming along and had the rest breaks that we all needed.
We approached this trip with a deal of trepidation. So much packed into a long day - but would it be too much? Thanks to Yan and Danny, the day went seamlessly. We had plenty of time at every stop, the bonus information flowed freely and it was all very friendly. Highlight was the world's steepest railway and, honestly, this alone made the trip worthwhile. Our only gripe: We staeted the day near our hotel but were dropped off a train ride away.
Great tour! Yan, our driver and guide was very good. His commentary was interesting and helpful in understanding what we were seeing. Danny, the other guide, was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed the zoo the most, especially the Australian animal section. Seeing them roaming freely was fascinating.
Amazing experience and Alfie’s a great tour guide
Alfie is the coolest tour guide! The bus didn't arrive by 7:45am, but the drive was smooth afterwards :)
It was a nice tour, not rushed, and comfortable
Our guide was amazing very knowledgeable and funny !!
A great out of city experience with the best guide - Alfred. Highly recommend!
Nabil is a good guide. Helpful, patient to the group, especially since we have seniors in our group. He gives funny trivia, personal recommendations about where to eat, what other activities to do as first time Sydney tourists.
This was an amazing trip, we went to the zoo where you get a picture with a koala, then we went to the blue mountains and did the scenic tour, it was such a beautiful sight!! It was a bit busy but overall it was perfect. As a solo traveller I was very happy to go on this trip. It was definitely worth the money! The tour guides Steve and Danny, were very nice and helpful. Danny took pictures for us and they both handed out bottles of water and a treat at the end of the trip! The blue mountains were incredible. Definitely recommend!!
Eva is a very good tour guide.love!
Pre tour communication and pick up on the day all clear and on time, it was great to be picked up from hotel directly. The entire day ran to schedule and we saw everything listed. Gordon was friendly and took time to speak with everyone individually and ensured everyone understood timings. The koala experience was very cool and you get to go before the rest of the zoo, so it’s fast, efficient and no queuing and you get your photos immediately! The “rides” at the scenic place are 3-4 minutes long each so the 2 hour duration given is purely for queuing, and it does take a full 2 hours to queue for the 3 rides - in fact we had to take 2.5 hrs to get the full group through on a Saturday and you literally do a ride, queue for the next one and so on back to back in order to do the loop. I think in my head when I thought scenic railway I was thinking like kuranda in Cairns, and it’s not at all the same so make sure you know what the rides are and if you see value in queuing this long for the experience. The tour company did wait for us to all get through as they don’t control the queues at the site. The world’s steepest railway is fun. Take water for this segment as it’s hot standing in line for this long in the heat. The views are beautiful from the lookouts on the route.
While you can't touch the koala, the koala encounter was super special for us! Unfortunately the weather wasn't the greatest so we didn't get to see the Three Sisters due to fog. We still had fun anyway and enjoyed our walk to the base of the waterfall at Scenic World. Our guide had great food recommendations! I am really glad we did this tour!
Nabil was an amazing tour guide! We booked this trip because my Nan and Mum have mobility issues but still wanted to see the Blue Mountains, and the tour was perfect for them. We didn’t spend too long at each stop, so it was comfortable for everyone. Nabil was friendly and knowledgeable, and gave us loads of recommendations for our time in Sydney. It was also great value for money: the price of the zoo, koala photos and Scenic World alone makes it really reasonable. Thank you Nabil!!!
We had a good full day trip to Blue Mountains with Gordon. He's right on time for pick up, friendly and provided good service. It's quite worth of it.
