Hi, this trip was perfect for me, as a solo woman, I felt safe and would now confidently recommend this to solo, couples and teens to take this trip. We saw the local green turtle plus so much more. Take a pool noodle when offered , as an easy option too, no shame in that you’re on holiday! Beautiful location, great guide, easy peasy plus situated by a great restaurant for lunch after! !

The tour was great. The sea life was abundant. It was especially good to see an Australian giant cuttlefish up close, swimming around calmly. Everything went smoothly and ran on time. Thanks to our guide, Damien.

Visibility wasn’t the best that day so we didn’t see a ton but saw some interesting fish and a ray. Very protected bay so great for novice or kids. Lauren was an excellent guide.

What a great experience! For anyone interested in spending some quality time experiencing the beautiful local marine ecosystems of greater Sydney, this is an absolute must. Our guide (Damien, if I remember correctly) was fantastic and very personable… and the local marine life were such gracious, peaceful and serene hosts!

This was a fantastic tour. We had the best snorkeling guide! He was very knowledgeable and kind. He dealt with the flimsy weather very well and we got to really appreciate and enjoy the water.

We had a great time on the 1.5 hour snorkel with a short nature walk to kick things off. It was a nice snorkel in Cabbage Tree Aquatic Reserve and we saw several kinds of fish. We even got lucky and saw two wobbegong sharks! Damien was a great guide, super knowledgeable, and made sure everyone felt safe. We appreciated that all gear was provided. It was a small group experience too, so it felt comfortable without feeling overcrowded.

If you enjoy snorkelling this is the trip for you. There is a huge variety of fish to see and if you are lucky the turtle will come and swim with you. Groups are small and our guide Laura was very attentive and ensured we got the best experience ensuring everyone was comfortable with their gear throughout the snorkelling trip. We started with a hike overlooking Shelly beach as seen on the Bold and Beautiful! So thrilled we made it here.

The small group Manly snorkel tour was amazing. Our family of 4 had Damien as our amazing guide. The meeting place was easy to find. The upfront communication with Ecotreasures was perfect - helpful reminders, etc. The land portion, or nature walk, was informative and very useful especially because we planned to spend the balance of the tour of our tour on Manly. Damien had great recommendations, including sending us to a fantastic Thai lunch spot that there is no way we would have found otherwise. The snorkeling was amazing. Damien struck the perfect balance between performing as a guide and also letting us go at our own pace. I always feel like the trait of a good guide on a small group is a guide who has the energy and passion as if it is their first tour, but the expertise and knowledge as if it is their 1,000th tour, and that describes Damien EXACTLY. If you are considering this trip, don't hesitate. Book with confidence and you will not regret it.

I had an amazing snorkelling experience this morning with Eco Treasures. We saw a rich variety of marine life, and because the instructor takes you further out into the bay than you’d normally go on your own, you get to see even more wildlife. We were also shown around the local nature reserve on foot which was beautiful, our tour guide educated us on the history of the sea and land in the local area which was so interesting. Our instructor, Damien, was very friendly, knowledgeable, and experienced. I felt completely at ease and knew I was in safe hands with him out in the water. I would highly recommend Eco Treasures to anyone visiting Manly. This snorkelling trip has been one of the highlights of my time in Australia, and I will come again in future.

Thoroughly enjoyed my walk and snorkel. Lauren was an excellent guide. Friendly, kind, knowledgeable and attentive to everyone. I am traveling solo, but great to interact with Lauren and the others in our group. Wish the sun came out sooner. Even so, enjoyed seeing rays, grouper, and numerous other fish at Shelly Beach. An excellent way to spend 2 hours experiencing that a city as big as Sydney (over 5 million people) still has almost pristine wildlife ecosystems right in its heart. Our guide Damien is enthusiastic, fun and so knowledgeable.

We had a fantastic time learning about Australia's biodiversity and the local/national efforts to maintain it, and then getting out into the water and seeing it up close. This was our first time snorkeling and Damien was super helpful and encouraging the whole time. Would highly recommend it!

Easy snorkel tour from the beach. We saw a ton - 2 different sharks, 2 big cuttlefish, lots of fish and a stingray. The snorkeling is easy from the shore. Be sure to say yes to the wetsuit offered, the water is cold. Uber back from the beach was a pain - 25 mins for pickup and 45 mins off rush hour to get back to Circular Quay so that was a bit of a pain so plan accordingly.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Amazing tour with Ecotreasures! On land we spotted a shy echidna and even a pod of dolphins 🐬. Underwater was magical — sharks, stingray, schools of fish, and a jellyfish right beside me. Guide Sam was fantastic — knowledgeable, caring, and fun. Highly recommend!

I was really looking forward to the snorkel and Damien did not let me down! Meeting up was punctual and easy to find. He took us on a 30 minute walk around the headland and this was really informative. I learnt a lot of eco info on the area and enjoyed the views and cute water dragons. It also helped to get the group together and become cohesive which was great. Damian showed us pictures of what we may see and also gave us a safety chat. Then we were off to gear up and head down to the beach entry. It was amazing. We saw cuttlefish, port Jackson sharks, rays and so many fish! For a Qlder it was so cold so lucky we had wetsuits on! The gear was good quality and worked well. I was so happy with everything I saw and loved the whole experience. Our group were so lovely and Damien’s friendly nature made it a snorkel to remember. I would 100% highly recommend this tour. Such a great morning. Thanks Damien.

This was a fun tour. They had wetsuits for us that kept us warm in the water. They made sure we all kinds of fishes and Sharks.

We joined the snorkel trip and nature walk with Ecotreasures and had an absolutely unforgettable experience 💙 Damien, the owner, was incredibly professional, attentive, and safety-conscious — especially with my sons who were snorkeling for the first time. He took time to guide them patiently and made sure they felt safe and supported throughout. Damien was also very friendly, flexible, and truly understood our needs, ensuring we had the best possible experience. I read some older reviews that questioned his professionalism, and I genuinely don’t agree — what we saw was someone deeply committed to delivering quality service, skills / knowledge, and care. He goes above and beyond, and his focus on safety is clear and reassuring. And the best part — we even got to see wild dolphins! 🐬 I’m sure we were lucky, but I also believe Damien’s deep knowledge of the area played a big part. This was a fantastic first-time adventure for our family, full of learning and joy — and at a very reasonable price.

The walk was beautiful and the guide talked a lot about the nature and I learnt things I didn’t know before. Then the swim also was so cool! We had nice shots and the water was clear and calm. I would definitely recommend it to my friends who are visiting in summer.

I took a group of senior geography students to investigate the beautiful marine ecosystem of Cabbage Tree Bay. We had an amazing day of exploration and discovery, seeing a huge range of different species that highlighted the biodiversity of the area. Damien and his team of expert guides were super-friendly, helpful and knowledgeable! Would highly recommend this trip to any ocean lovers or anyone curious about the beauty that exists within such close proximity to Manly. Can't wait to come back again next year!

Highly recommend Eco Tours! Raff & Kieran hosted my son’s 9th birthday party. They were fun, friendly, and knowledgeable. Damien was super responsive and helpful. Great communication. It was such a nice touch to receive photos and videos they took during the tour.

The snorkelling is lovely. However, the meeting arrangements are extremely inflexible. We arrived at 9:20, for the 9:30 tour, and 4 of us (one who is a travel agent) were walking around the carpark looking for ecotreasures and could not see them. We walked to the top of the carpark (as per the website) at 9:30 but there was no clear signage of the company. The 'walk' section started promptly at 9:30 but we missed it! The guide "did not answer messages once the tour began". While understanding this we all thought it was VERY inflexible. Finally (after the walk) we got through to the guide who allowed us to join the snorkel. We felt that it was entirely our fault, which we accept some responsibility for but even a minimal degree of flexibility (and clearer signage) would have alleviated.

Waayyyy overpriced. Hire some snorkeling gear for $30 and go to Shelly Beach yourself. Take a walk around the headlands. Laura was very lovely though.

Me and my Son loved it the guide Lauren was helpful. Had great knowledge of wildlife and fish whilst making it safe and fun We got to see a turtle and a stingray which Lauren pointed out we also saw the blue groppers they are super cool. Lots of other fish.

Jules made me love everything about God's creation here in Australia. She was cheerful, patient and kind and pointed out lovely plants and animals. She took great care of me and the group so we were able to Snorkel a great length and see many wonderful fish and plants. The wetsuit made the chilly waters seem wonderful. I was here for early autumn.

Sam was an outstanding guide, sharing a wealth of interesting knowledge and fun facts along the way. We always felt safe and well-supported, and had an incredible experience—even when the water was a bit choppy, which made the views a little murky. Nevertheless, we saw some different fish and really enjoyed being in this beautiful place.

Great activity..the guide was knowledgeable and we enjoyed a small tour of.the area and it's.nature before going into the water with all gear and safety advice. This completely exceeded my expectations and was great

Excellent day with Raphaella in perfect weather. We learned a lot of things (especially about sharks :-) ). We saw lots of fishes, a turtle and a couple of giant blue gropers. Overall, an excellent experience. In the morning, it was less crowded with swimmers.
