Your skipper points out native flora and any marine life along the route as the cruise moves towards the national park. The protected coastal parkland framing the eastern harbour. The harbour widens and the bush comes down to the waterline.
Swimming Stop: Secluded Harbour Cove or Beach The boat pulls into a sheltered cove or national park beach. Your group swims and hangs out. No crowds. This is a standard stop on every tour. Bring a swimsuit and towel.
Optional return location for lunch (At own expense)
Returns to the departure pontoon by 12:00pm.
This small group tour was an excellent introduction to the environs of Sydney Harbour. The knowledge and boat handling of Zane made the trip informative and enjoyable. Good weather and relatively calm conditions were a bonus.
Zane is a very skilled boat captain and exceptional tour guide. He gave us lots of information and history of the harbor. He showed us historical sites that we wouldn’t have even seen without him pointing them out.

I booked a small group experience as I wanted something special for visiting family. We were lucky, we had the boat to ourselves so it was even more exclusive than I hoped. Zane was an incredible captain, tour guide and photographer - he is so knowledgeable and interesting, there was no obscure question he couldn’t answer. Nothing was too much trouble, he obviously really cared that we had a great time. I would give the morning six stars if I could.
The tour was amazing! Zane was our captain and shared many interesting stories and history throughout the tour. It was the best tour of our time in Sydney. Definitely a must do!

Boat was very nice. For most of the tour, Captain Andy was hard to hear over boat engines. He needed a speaker for us in the back of the boat. Water was to be provided on this 2.5 hour tour. It was not offered. This was 1st time we've ever had to take gym shoes off on any boat. Not safe.
This was a wonderful 2 1/2 tour with Zane who was helpful and informative. We really saw the harbour sights and went close to Pacific Ocean. We stopped in beautiful mini harbours and learnt about them and their idiosyncrasies. Zane was a great guide.

My wife and I highly recommend Sydney Harbour Boat Tours! Only a few hours after arriving in Australia, we met our captain Zane for a 3 hour boat tour around the Harbour. Although we were exhausted from 20 hours of traveling, our captain Zane was a rockstar. His enthusiasm and knowledge of the Harbour, buildings, cliffs, natural rainforests, and so many other things not only helped keep us awake, but truly provided us with amazing experience where we learned so much. This was a brilliant way to experience the beauty of Sydney harbour. Our guide was great and gave us lots of interesting information- both historical and modern day. The boat is very comfortable and we had a swim at a lovely boat access only beach. We had a fabulous time.
Not as advertised. A snack & stopping at a beach where you could purchase tea were in the description & did not happen. Narration quite limited.
Beautiful boat, with plenty of time given to history and natural landscape. Plus our captain was able to get us up close to the shoreline and share interesting landmarks.
Was Just what we where after, A Personalised Tour where you could ask questions and get detailed information on all the various aspects of the harbour and bays etc that we visited, and the Guide was excellent !

We all had a wonderful time. The hosts were very experienced with the landmarks of Sydney and the boat ride was calm and relaxing. The stop over was a secluded beach with a lovely walk to the cafe. Highly recommend it and looking forward to booking again in the near future.

Loved the captain, Elody. Enjoyed the size of the tour, small & personal. Enjoyed going into places larger boats would not be able to go. At our one stop…never found the shops we expected to wander. Needed more direction. But those that planned to swim (not me) enjoyed the beach & water.
Wonderful trip around the harbor (aka harbour) with Zane. We selected this tour because of their focus on smaller groups and that decision was spot-on. We had a calm, sunny day and the small group (6 people) allowed for detailed and interesting conversation from our guide. Also great fun to interact with other members of the group. An excellent day - would highly recommend.
Wonderful experience. Great boat. Only small groups. Wonderful views of the incredible waterfront homes and the bridge and Opera House. Also loved the national parks and beautiful golden coves. Guide and captain was superb and very enthusiastic. Obviously loves the beautiful harbour. More expensive then grabbing the manly ferry etcetera but worth it.
Despite miserable weather the captain provided informative and fun commentary through an excellent cruise great way to see Sydney !
Seeing Sydney from the water was a great experience. Lots of boats and seaplane traffic on the water - our guide was expert in navigating the waters and explaining the sights and history. Gave us good ideas of where to explore further.

Very enjoyable boat trip. Small group so it was very personal. However we were supposed to have stopped at a cove somewhere to swim and this didn’t happen.
We have just spent a lovely 3 hours touring some of the numerous bays of Sydney hosted by Zane. The sights were made more interesting by the nuggets of info & inside knowledge of Zane. Highly recommended
Really enjoyed our harbour cruise. The guide was very informative and stopped the boat whenever we wanted to take pictures. We got off the boat at parsley cove and had a snack.

A very small group (3 of us) and speedboat which gave us a more personalized (& comfortable) experience. The captain zane was very cheerful and informative taking us along the various small coves, seaside mansions & seculuded beaches of sydney harbour sharing various facts along the way. the weather was a bit volatile (Spring) but was a smooth ride throughout. Great tour experience.

6 people, 4 teenagers, and my wife's birthday on the harbour. Warm, however cloudy, maybe wet, and pretty windy day. The captain was great, as she was very positive, and took us on a cruise, and then speedy manoeuvres before find a very sheltered bay out of the wind, perfect for swimming, riding paddle boards and lying on the lily pad. First, the Sydney Harbour Boat Tours is an Accommodating company. We planned our tour THEN the weather didn’t cooperate. The Managing Director got hold of us via email to change our reservation (if we so chose) to a better time. I think that was so thoughtful and it ended up worked out better than what we had planned! Second, Tour itself! The Sydney Harbour is really big and it was great to be on such a personalized small boat… tour to see it. We stopped at 3 locals and really got a great feel for what was beyond the Opera House. We stopped for lunch, we stopped at a private beach, and we stopped for tea. At both the stops and while at sea we learned about the area and the stops themselves. Third, but most important, The Crew was amazing! Emma and Zane were AWESOME!! Zane; the captain was wonderful! Professional, knowledgeable, and accommodating. As the captain- driver of the boat he drove for the people on the boat. He slowed to let us take photos. We ran a bit behind because we lingered a bit, BUT Zane was very understanding. Emma was also Amazing! Knowledgeable in Australian and Sydney Harbour history. FUN! And I appreciate that she had a “go with the flow” attitude! Again, we had a small tour so we really had personal attention! I would actually go on this tour again!!! I think I would learn something new if I went again. I also enjoyed the people so much! I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS TOUR company!!!
This was our first trip to Sydney, and we booked the tour with Sydney Harbour Boat Tours on the strong recommendation of the concierge at our hotel. It turned out that he was absolutely right to encourage us to take this tour--it was honestly one of the best things that we did on our trip! Zane and Elodie were so friendly and helpful and knowledgeable. They made us comfortable from the start and encouraged us to ask questions and explore at all our stops. In just a few short hours, we learned so many things about Sydney geography, culture, history, flora, fauna, and cuisine (the lamington and cherry ripe at Quarantine Station were delicious!). We can't wait to get back to Sydney and do all the things that we didn't get a chance to do on our first trip, but one of the things we will definitely repeat is a trip with Sydney Harbour Boat Tours, maybe one of their half-day or full-day tours this time.
Lots of fun and very personnel, great people. We were the only ones on the tour, so did a lot more than a normal tour would of had.
