Luxury Sailing Cruise On Sydney Harbour With Lunch

A wonderful day out with David on the Emma Mei. Very personable and knowledgeable and makes a great lunch too, it was delicious. David clearly takes great pride in the Emma Mei and it is in tip top condition with all elements considered - blankets, wet weather gear, towels for swimming and drinks holders. This was the perfect trip to round off our time in Sydney and a personal touch with a surprise birthday cake - thank you!

Captain Dave is fabulous! Hes super knowledgeable about Sydney and Darling Harbor-so interesting!! It was my husband and I plus adult daughter. We had rainy inclement weather and Capt Dave supplied rain pants and jackets so we still enjoyed sightseeing and listening to him tell us about Sydney Harbor. Lunch was fantastic! Great tour, great conversation, great food!!!

We had an excellent sailing experience in Sydney Harbour! I went with my daughter while visiting from the U.S., and it was truly a highlight of our trip. Dave and his daughter were amazing—so friendly, welcoming, and easy to be around. Dave was incredibly knowledgeable and shared great insights about the harbor, which made the experience even more enjoyable. We had limited time in Sydney and felt like seeing it from the harbour was a great option to understand the area in a fun way. Dave and his beautiful boat did not disappoint! We had an incredible day on the water with Dave and another family. We all took a turn 'sailing' the boat (with Dave carefully watching on the other wheel, but still...) We anchored for a fabulous lunch. Dave gave us a lot of information about landmarks, history, and local life that was interesting and informative. We felt safe, pampered, and that we really immersed ourselves in Sydney for the day. We loved and highly recommend this experience.

There are many Sydney Harbour cruises, but this luxury sailing experience is the best! Dave was a terrific host and welcomed a small group of us on to his beautiful sailboat. We felt so special sailing the harbour! We sailed into beautiful coves and learned so much. Lunch was yummy and drinks were offered often throughout our day. We settled into a spot for a quick dip in the water. It was a hot day and were so lucky to be on the water. Thank you David for making this one of our best days in Sydney!

David, was an incredible tour guide, truly an area expert. We had a great time. It was a very hot day in Sydney today but the shade part of the boat kept it nice & cool for everyone. Lunch was delicious & time to swim in the ocean was just awesome.

The trip had been booked by our tour operator so we were expecting to sail on one of the large tourist motor boats we had seen crossing the harbour. Therefore we were a little surprised to see Dave arriving in a yacht (despite it being 40’ long). Within half an hour, though, any concerns had vanished and we knew we were in for a great day. This has to be the best way to tour the harbour with a skipper who was both highly knowledgeable and a great, friendly host.

One of the best days out in Sydney!! From beginning to end everything was so well thought out. David was able to keep us informed and entertained, fed and watered throughout the experience. Highly recommended for locals and visitors. The swim was an added bonus on a beautiful spring day. Our 5 hours passed in a flash.

Friendly, safe, and host/captain is one of the best we’ve ever had across the world. Made us feel welcome and comfortable from the get go, was very knowledgeable of the surrounding areas, made everything simple and easy. This was a great way to spend a day awhile in Sydney. We had such a great tour with David. He’s got a lovely relaxed approach to the experience and this made it very enjoyable. He was really interactive with our children and they had great fun sailing the yacht. We learnt a huge amount of history from him. The lunch was absolutely fantastic and he made sure he catered for our really fussy children. He even brought along Easter eggs for them which was a lovely touch.

Lovely day! This was the highlight of our Sydney visit. David was a wonderful host, filling us in on the history of the Harbour, antidotes on its development and who lived in the fabulous residences en route. We had a lovely lunch. Couldn’t ask for a nicer day! Highly recommend.

Our day sailing with Dave on his 40 ‘ Beneteau sailboat, the Emma Mei was a Sydney highlight. There are lots of things to do in Sydney but, I highly recommend this sailing day and seeing Sydney from the water. Dave’s commentary was interesting, his sailing skills excellent and the food he served for lunch, delicious. We had 8 guests on board and the seating was comfortable. Dave was a gracious host and great captain. We would do this excursion again if we were ever back in Sydney.

Wonderful! The 5-hour sail toured almost all of the expanse of Sydney Harbor. The captain was knowledgeable about the different areas of the harbor shores and pointed out landmarks and notable buildings. The views were magnificent and the lunch superb. We even got to man the helm...

My spouse and I did a small group sailboat tour of Sydney Harbour. It was great! The sailboat was large enough for a group of six. The weather was ideal with enough wind for a few spirited sailing legs. Refreshments and lunch were part of the sail cruise. Lunch in particular was gourmet quality. Because of a cold, I missed-out on a swim in the sheltered bay that the boat was moored in for lunch. The water looked inviting! Captan Dave was a great host. He was friendly and a great guide to what is going on around the harbour. We had the opportunity to take-the-wheel and steer the boat under Dave's guidance. Facilities are on the boat. We highly recommend this tour.
