Journey Beyond All-inclusive Sydney Harbour Dinner Cruise

I reserved the Sunset Dinner Harbour Cruise with all-inclusive food and drink. The dinner menu was thoughtfully arranged, and the dishes were well prepared and flavorful. I stepped out of my usual choices or food preferences, and had the heirloom beetroot as my appetizer. I found it remarkably light with well-balanced flavors and will try it again. The chicken was moist and seasoned well. Staff members were kind, highly attentive, and personable. The views and overall experience offered a fine way to see the harbour during my first arrival in Sydney.

The food was exceptional, we are world travelers and have been on many similar excursions. The food was just a cut above others

This was an amazing cruise around Sydney Harbour with a delicious 3 course meal. The staff were friendly and courteous.

Pick up at the wharf was clear and easy. Boat ride through different bays and inlets was great. Tuna and barramundi were excellent. Crew was attentive and all around excellent.

Food was better than expected- not great, but tasty. Staff was friendly and helpful. Overall, I would recommend this to anyone!

Food and drink was good. Service was great. Sounded as if the guide was a recording and difficult to here. Ride was not smooth but the water was not choppy. Not sure why the boat was riding like that. Was a pleasant experience.

This was an amazing dinner cruise evening. I can’t say enough to do it justice. From the moment we boarded the boat, the experience was absolutely wonderful. The staff was so polite and attentive, the vessel was spotless and the food prepared by the two chefs was outstanding and tasty. The captain made sure we had time and opportunity to take the best pictures as we cruise thru the Sydney Harbor. The sunset shots from the boat were the best we have taken so far on this vacation. This cruise gets my highest review. Our group of 8 all agreed this was more than value for the price paid. Book it now!!!

If I could give a rating of more than 5 stars, I would! What a wonderful experience. On the surface, the weather was a little downer with cloudiness and rain, a little chilly on the temperature side, and no visualization of the sunset…..who knew that the weather changes that quickly in Sydney! Now for the silver lining and sunshine part of the trip. The food and drinks were excellent, the ship was spacious and clean, and the vibrant attitude and service provided was top notch. This particular crew and captain went above and beyond for my family and we deeply appreciated the effort. I was with my family—2 grandparents, me and my wife, and our 3 young adult kids. We were doing tours of Melbourne, Port Douglas, and Sydney as a vacation to visit our son doing a study abroad semester. This is important as the 6 of us were staying in a local hotel and travelled together to the harbor with our son staying in his school apartment. We had gone out during the morning to the Sydney Fish Market, Chinatown, and shopping for souvenirs in the morning and our son wanted an afternoon nap. Our departure time was 510pm and he set 4 alarms for 4………(am) on accident. At 450 he was still in bed, and at 510 was stuck in an Uber in traffic. The captain delayed departure for 20 min and then we had to depart. Our family was sad to have our son miss our last dinner before returning to the U.S. While seated at our table, the captain came to me to see if our son could make it to the dock in the next 15 minutes. The answer was yes and we were able to return to the dock and pick him up. I relayed the story to the other diners and our son received a standing ovation after being picked up. There is nothing better than this kind of customer support and appreciation of the circumstance. Hands down, this was our favorite memory of the 2 week stay in Australia. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Beautiful scenery of the Harbor and opera house. Great food and all you can drink alcohol. Everyone was very nice. I recommend it.

The instructions to find the wharf and what time to be there were very clear. It is true they do not wait so make sure that you are a bit early. The views were fabulous, and the dinner and drinks were just as good. So far it has been about the best meal I’ve had in Sydney. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a all-inclusive dinner cruise.

À fabulous evening on the harbour and all was really good with a small glitch on the Apple crumblee which was very chilled

Disappointed because at this time of year, it was getting dark soon after we passed under the bridge. There was not much commentary on what we were seeing as we toured the harbour . Whilst waiting for dinner, there is nothing to see through the window in the darkness. Dinner seemed late as we were eating as we came back under the bridge, so we missed that. People were still eating when we docked

What a great experience. Boat was great, staff wonderful, food delicious. Very professional. Nice size so you didn’t feel among a mass of diners.

I cannot comment on the experience itself, as the event never took place. The communication, however, is horrible. I was on a 2 week vacation and this event was scheduled for the final evening. My wife and I got dressed up and walked to the venue only to find that there is no ship there. Viator customer service inforned me that 3 days previously the event was cancelled and I should have received an email. They could not tell me why I received a confirmation text just 3 hours earlier and also the day before that as well. Being that I was on vacation I am not one to spend time on email but the email intro was also very deceptive. The email did not come from Viator, which would have stood out, or from 'Sydney Harbour Cruise', rather it came from some anonymous sender that I easily scanned over. So why would Viator be sending confirmation texts days after the event was cancelled???

The staff and views were amazing! I would not recommend going solo as it is mostly couples and groups. The age group is also on the older end, but I was able to make some lovely connections. The food was delicious and the open bar was great!

You get great views of the harbour. Dinner was delicious. We met lots of new friends and shared a wonderful experience.

Beautiful sights (opera house, boats, skyline). Peaceful and a great dinner. The staff were friendly and there were bathrooms on board. Low impact, not much walking required.

It was very worrying to arrive at pick up point Wharf 8 and there to be no signage for this trip. When tried to ring office it was closed . Info said to arrive 15 mins prior to departure time. At first I thought I had been scammed. Unnecessary anxiety generated. Suggest in future they put up a sign or a board about the trip

I came across this activity on Expedia and it seemed to be great value for the money! I surprised my wife with this dinner cruise for our first night in Sydney and couldn't be happier. The food and service were exceptional and we truly enjoyed the experience. Highly recommended.

very nice dinner cruise from Bangalaroo (?), viewing Sydney harbor withy twists and turns to see the sydney opera building. departure time left great late evening (early march) view before dinner (30-45 minutes). dinner was good (not outstanding), beer and wine included. overall nice trip.

Disappointing really. Not that it’s all about alcohol but we weren’t offered a glass of wine with supper and no coffee or tea as stated on booking. Glass of fizz on arrival which was topped up but service of beverages not as we imagined. Food was delicious but dessert served just as we were passing illuminated opera house so not ideal for seeing harbour. At the end of our 6 weeks in OZ and a very disappointing experience

Open air viewing on a windy day may be uncomfortable and limited. Food is very good and the staff is excellent.

this tour was a great way to spend the kast night in Sydney, The crew was exceptional, and the boarding process was quick and easy. the topper was the fireworks show after the cruise. Food aboard the ship was nicely prepared.

This trip is definitely well worth doing, staff were fabulous, the meal was excellent. The boat was not overcrowded or too noisy. Lots of opportunity to take some brilliant pictures without having to fight for space. Overall a good evening out.😄
