Enjoyed the tour with our guide Yan. We visited a couple of wineries (total of 13 different tastings !) and a chocolate shop afterwards. The catered lunch had variety with great wine pairings. Pickup and drop off were easy, and we received info on the pickup location and guide beforehand.

Itinerary
Did someone say Chocolate, Cheese and award winning Wine? Awaken your senses on a carefully curated day tour to discover the rich history of wine making in the Hunter Valley at some of the oldest wineries as well as the next generation of winemakers. Be amazed at the panoramic views of this vast shallow valley whilst you walk amongst the vines feeling the rich terroir. Lunch is included in one of “the Hunter’s” best loved restaurants including a glass of wine, beer or soft drink. No trip to the Hunter Valley would be complete without a stop at the famous HV Chocolate Company or one of the many local cheese makers. Finally, it’s time to head for home knowing that you have tantalised your senses having tasted, seen, smelled, felt and heard all there is to know about the Hunter Valley region of NSW.
Arriving in the Hunter Valley our first stop is at one of the region's most historic vineyards where we marvel at the rows of vines that reach across the valley to the horizon. Here we have our first guided wine tasting of delicious Hunter Valley wine.
Arrive at the iconic Mount Pleasant Wines (or similar) - one of the Hunter Valley’s most storied wineries and a true cornerstone of Australian winemaking. Today, you’ll enjoy a curated tasting that showcases Mount Pleasant’s exceptional range of estate-grown and single-vineyard wines. You’ll have the rare opportunity to taste Australia’s oldest Pinot Noir, while overlooking the very vines that produce it - an experience that combines history, craftsmanship and the natural beauty of the Hunter Valley.
Today’s experience includes a premium two-course lunch paired with local Hunter Valley red and white wines chosen to match each dish. Lunch is hosted at voco™ Kirkton Park Hotel an elegant country manor - one of the Hunter Valley’s most scenic and distinguished dining venues (or similar)
Our "sweet" stop of the day is at the Hunter Valley Chocolate Company where you will enjoy a chocolate tasting that is absolutely divine!

Glad for hotel pickup but wish it wasn’t so early (0645 for an 8:00 tour). Good thing there’s a 2 hour ride to Hunter Valley to nap! Both Joe and Chen were very nice. Good choices with the two vineyards, and lunch at the Voco was good. Tour ended back at central station around 18:15, so a long day, but nice.
Driver/guide Joe was very friendly and accommodating. Tour was great.
Our guide Joe is really good and humour! He kept us entertained, overall wine tasting experience is good, schedule was just right, not too rush! Recommended!
I must say, ren (仁)is a very good guide!仁导游很好,推荐!
Amazing day tour! Yan is such a great tour guide that provided a lot of fun facts and information with us. The arrangement of the tasting as well as the lunch was great. Would highly recommend others to join if you are a wine lover.
Eva was professional, humorous and caring. Thank you!
Eva is a amazing tour guide and also be friendly with us, help us a lot
Tour guide Eva is FANTASTIC! We had an absolutely delightful tour of the Hunter Valley, immersed in the aromas of wine and chocolate.
We booked only the day before the tour. My wife & I were the only English speakers on the tour. Also the only seniors. We had a driver & guide who were both incredible. They ensured we were included. The service was outstanding. The two wineries were very good & we’ve been to many. Lunch was plentiful and good. The stop for chocolate was nice but unnecessary in my opinion. I work part time as a travel agent in Canada & would absolutely recommend this company.
We enjoyed our tour today. Gordon, our tour guide and driver, was remarkable. He looked after 38 people with ease. It’s our first bus load tour. We normally go on very small or private tours. It was a great day with a lot of friendly people.
A comedy of errors on our tour. It took over an hour and a half to leave Sydney CBD. From picking up the wrong people, having to go back to the CBD to pick up the right people, (ended up an hour later back at our original pick up point) to multiple pickups and transferring people to different tours it wasn’t good. So much lost time which could have been spent in the Hunter Valley. Multi lingual tour. Which was great. But some languages felt cheated. Long descriptions in one language. So short in others. The venues selected were excellent. So top points there. But the tour operator cheated out on pre selected menu options. Pick another operator I think.
Sota and Yan are very accommodating! They provided a great experience. Will definitely book again!
Yan and Danny are super friendly and knowledgeable about the area we went to. Highly recommend them
Friendly driver REN and guide Danny. Good memories in hunter valley especially the second one.
I visited to wine yards n choclate factory with brighton n tours. I enjoyed so much, it was a memorable experience n value for money definitely. Special thanks to Guide Yen n Sota for taking care of us n showing us wild kangaroos on the way. Making vine tasting more fun n making journey unforgettable.
Great experience and a very well organised day. The bus driver and guide were very professional and good. Meal was lovely and the winery’s were fantastic.
Had such a lovely day, so many wines to taste, exploring different vineyards and learning so much. Also had a special extra stop to see some kangaroos en route back.
Yang and Shota were great guides enjoyed the trip
Great opportunity to try local wines, we love the first stop. Also lunch was great at the hotel. The second wine tasting was a little too fast for all the wines, but still a great trip.
Yen was great and enjoyed the ride
We went on this tour with Brighton Tours as part of a prize I won on Instagram and it was a trip that was very much enjoyed by both myself and my husband! It’s definitely an activity to be enjoyed by adults whether solo, couples or with friends. Chen was also a great and funny tour guide. I would highly recommend for couples to do this and enjoy some time away from the busyness of everyday life and to have some timeout from kids.
The trip was fun and Chen is very accommodating
Amazing tour - from pick up at Central station to taking us to 2 wine distillers followed up lunch and chocolate shop. Very welcome, accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend to those who are looking to visit Hunter valley
Good wines and lovely scenery.
The one day tour feom Sydney was a beautiful experience especially for wine lover.
Tour was cancelled without notifying us ahead of time. Disappointed as we planned over six months in advance. When pickup was late I called and was informed tour had been cancelled. This after getting an email at 5:21 a.m. reminding us about it. Terrible customer service all around.
We had a lovely day tasting wines and learning about the region. Chen was great!
Very good tour, visited two wineries and a hotel restaurant for lunch, then a cheese shop and a chocolate shop, the last two mainly for shopping. Had plenty of wine and the guides at the vineyards were interesting, lunch was okay (salad and pasta with chicken or salmon). Had a smaller group of 14, don’t be alarmed if you get picked up at the hotel in a coach bus, we transferred into a smaller van bus; it seemed the company was corralling people from the hotels. Other tours I’ve been on benefitted from the guide narrating much of the trip so we got a little history lesson, but didn’t get so much of that in this trip. To the company, consider doing a cheese tasting plate and/or chocolate tasting in lieu of lunch since that’d be a more unique experience than eating at a hotel restaurant.
My family and I went on this day tour and it was an enjoyable experience. Chen, our driver, was punctual picking us up from the designated hotel and was courteous and friendly. His assistant Frank was helpful with translation and attending to our requests. The 2 wineries we went, Audrey Wilkinson and Mountain Pleasant gave us a good range of white and red wine for tasting, and the ambience was nice. 2-course lunch was good with salad and burger or pasta. Wine was also offered at lunch. The ride to and from Hunter Valley was smooth and comfortable in a coach bus. Chen was a good driver. Yes, we would recommend this trip.
Chen good. Must go with him. Zz
We thoroughly enjoyed the wineries, local cheeses, and chocolates. The lunch was excellent and the whole day was well organized. A great way to experience the Hunter Valley.
Amazing tour with a great Lunch and views of the hunter valley! Great guide and team! Highly recommend!
Yan and Frank provided absolutely outstanding service during our trip! Warm, professional, and incredibly helpful, they truly went above and beyond. We highly recommend them to everyone!
Chen is very friendly and accommodating. Tour experience was good too, wasnt too packed and wasnt boring. Lunch provided was good too, had a pasta and salad.
It meet my expectation. Nice selection of wine tasting
Good especially after the wine tasting. Rest was a blur
Very helpful guide and fun journey with details of history
hope to have a breakfast early
We enjoyed the good wine and views with Japanese on the hunter valley. Thank you Yoko-san and Chen-san.
Very funny and helpful tour guide Chen!
Our guide Chen is such good guy. Really friendly will go back again book other tour soon.
The whole experience is wonderful and Chen is patience and professional. We would like to go another tour with Chen again!
Bruno was an excellent guide to the Hunter Valley. Ben Ean's Linderman estate was the highlight. Cheese factory was a slight let down seems they dont do tastings, and most of us are travelling so cant buy or take cheese with us easily. I think they should consider swapping this for another winery, or the distillery near by. But all in all it was a great day, and im glad I came.
很捧的旅程,導遊很細心,景點也好好,酒莊也很棒,可以推薦給大家
Chen was funny, accommodating & knowledgeable. He matched the tastings & the pace to the vibe of the group, and took us to places that delivered over & above the tastings promised. With the list beautiful art & backdrops. Drove back so we could get pictures of some Roos in the wild. Even driving back to a vineyard to pick up some wine. Would 100% recommend. Took my parents who were visiting from the UK & they loved it.
Not a good experience . I was the only English speaking person on the tour. Everyone else spoke only Chinese . 75% of the tour was conducted in Chinese . I booked an English guided tour. And if you are over 5' 10" you will be cramped in the seat.
Chen was awesome during the trips . Friendly and kind.
Our guide Chen was very knowledgeable. and friendly. It was a lovely day and very well organized. Chen made it feel like we were touring round with a friend. Highlight of our day was the Mount Pleasant cellar door experience with 'G' he was very passionate, knowledgeable and made the whole experience one to remember.
Chen is an excellent Tour guide. Many Kudos we only had 4 of 24 passengers that spoke English. But he treated us all equal time. He is very professional. Should drop cheese visit
